    Consistent Exceptional Customer Service

    I had a furnace tune up by Craig, an exceptional technician. In fact, I've a few Reliance technicians come through, for various issues, and I would give them 5/5 each and every time. (But Craig is definitely and "8" per that scale) And that is from the initial phone call to the service call. There are a lot of companies out there but my business is staying with Reliance.

    Munir Mahmoud-extremely knowledgeable

    Munir Mahmoud the technician was extremely knowledgeable. All the questions I asked he was able to explain in layman terms. He appeared to really enjoy his job and wanted to provide the best customer service. Problems that I had for years he was able to resolve. I am looking forward to the changes and results of getting the ducts clean as a part of his recommendation. Thanks Munir (ghostbuster) for your excellent customer service.

    Condensate Pump Failure

    Came home the other evening to find that the condensate pump on our ten year old unit had stopped working. A stream of water was migrating to a nearby floor drain. We called Reliance immediately. They scheduled a warranty repair for the next morning. 7am the next morning we were contacted by Matt M. (Technician DAA1920). He arrived promptly and made the repair in short order. Checked the furnace unit out while he was at it. Very professional fella. Over the ten years that we've been dealing with Reliance, we have yet to experience any dissatisfaction. It's nice not to have to worry about our system. Thanks from Val Caron, On.

    A/C and Furnace replacement

    I can't rate Najib with 10 stars, so 5 will have to do it, but his professionalism, dedication to details and effort to do things right for you are incredible. He came in on time, and started right away, took care of everything, cleaning, covers to make sure no damage to floor is made, and left the same way. I am really impressed with his work, top quality.

    Poor Reliance Hot water tank service

    We are on our 5th service call in two weeks to fix the identical problem with our hot water heater shutting down. Each technician (except the first) tells me they've definitely solved the problem. They haven't. I'm told we will have to incur additional expenses if we want the rental tank replaced. Absolutely ridiculous.

    Furnace / Air Conditioning Repalcement

    From the knowledgeable and helpful sales person, Kelly, to the complete installation preformed by Shane and Victor, I am more than satisfied by experience with Reliance. I would without reservation or hesitation recommend Reliance to anyone needs a new furnace / air conditioner installed.

    Checking & Cleaning Furnace

    Service Tech Vedech #3592 thoroughly went through my Mississauga home furnace & gave pointers & advise what to do & what to be aware of. Very informative & answered all my questions.

    sewer back up

    the service technician was very knowledgeable and friendly. He cleaned his mess and made suggestions for the future. My toilet was backed up and all over my basement, he suggested I contact a restoration service for clean up.

    Furnace repair and replacement.

    My owned furnace quit working and I'm glad I had a furnace protection plan with reliance. The reliance technician showed up about 40 minutes after I called reliance for help. At this time it was about 7.30pm. The technician was very professional and helpful. He fixed the furnace in about 10 minutes. Unfortunately he also found out that the heat exchanger is cracked and a carbon monoxide issue is present. A new furnace must be installed at this time.The technician called a contractor Vince Chambers and Vince showed up at my place about 30 minutes after the call. Vince also very helpful and professional explained me my options of renting or buying a furnace and took the measurements for a new furnace. I decided to go with a rental since the rental fee is very affordable compare to the about $8.000 to buy the package and have it installed. The technicians showed up a few days later and installed a new furnace, new beautiful touchscreen thermostat and a new dehumidifier. Both technicians were very nice and worked also very professional. I am glad reliance exists and is putting the customer needs first. They even ad night come out and make sure that your house stays warm. This service experience was excellent. Thank you very much reliance team!

    Water Heater Service

    I am renting a tank-less water heater from Reliance so one day we called them to fix it since hot water was not constant. They sent a technician who looked like didn't have a clue what the problem is , came 2 times and left a bunch of mess. After his visit we even lost hot water completely. Spoke with their manager and they told us that this tech wasn't actually trained on water heaters!!! Called them again and we got another tech who just turned something on and got it fixed. It wasn't the end of the story however. Yesterday I received a letter from Reliance with "Thank you for purchasing home comfort protection plan" - I did not even purchase !!! After speaking again with Reliance they told us that the tech who came last time sold it to us. Incredible. We even didn't discuss anything like it. Hopefully my comment here will help other homeowners to avoid such bad experience in dealing with Reliance.
