    Prompt, respectful, professional and efficient service from Ricky at Reliance

    My water heater was leaking. The call centre was respectful, professional, and efficient and very personable. I was able to get an appointment made quickly and at a time that was convenient for me. Ricky arrived early into the time window (after phoning me, with an ETA, as planned) and was personable, put on booties to protect my floors, assessed the problem, and took appropriate action all in a matter of minutes. I wish all services were so easy! Thank you Reliance.

    Hot Water Issue

    Great experience thanks to Arash. First the company was able to get us earlier appointment which was great. Then the technician, Arash not only was very pleasant but also professional. We had an issue with hot water. It would only run for a minute and then turned cold. Arash checked the problem and it happened to be a plumbing issue other than the water heater or tank. He could have left and have a plumber come by another time which would be an inconvenience, instead he went above and beyond and fixed the problem. In no time we had hot water back.

    Furnace Yearly Maintenance

    Randy Breiland was at my house on Oct 11th for yearly maintenance and inspection on my furnace. He was really professional and informative. I would highly recommend Randy to my family friends.

    Service hot water tank.

    Our hot water tank had a slow leak. We called after 8 a.m. They arrived just after 9 a.m. Hot water tank was fixed by 9:30 a.m. They were very polite, pleasant and efficient.

    Hot Water Tank Replacement

    Technician was professional, explained some of the process that he needed to do, work was done nicely and area left clean. The 4 hour window for appointments I don't quite care for, maybe if there was an actual office located locally that might work better.

    New Furnace

    Bruce was great and helping me decide on the right furnace and thermostat. I absolutely love my new Nest. Both Dan and Andrew were fantastic as installers. Extremely friendly and professional. Showed me everything I needed to know about my new equipment. They even pointed out a couple of plumbing hazards (non capped pipes), that I had not noticed in the basement. Highly recommended.

    Furnace

    Jason Maluske was very thorough through the whole purchasing process. He set us up with a reliable unit at a reasonable rate. We will definitely recommend this service to others.

    Worst experience ever!!! BUYER BEWARE

    Misled by sales rep about buyout. Additional cost $3000.00. Misled about replacing gas furnace and water heater to take advantage of a natural gas rebate of $1200.00. Installed a high efficiency water heater that salesman said would meet the requirements for this rebate even after being told the inspector for the Home Energy Audit said it needed to be a tankless water heater so we did not meet the requirements of this natural gas rebate. Total extra cost $4200.00

    Furnace Servicing

    The technician called before the visit to confirm his appointment time. He was efficient, polite and great to deal with. He explained what he had done and asked if I had any questions. Good experience all around.

    Hot Water Tank Replacement/No Heat

    Absolute worst service i have ever received. Reliance recommended I change my hot water tank after having issues with the current one. Upon installing the new one the contractor only finished half the job. This resulted in him promising to come back 5 separate times to complete the job, with him not showing up last minute each time. Additionally, an actual reliance tech showed up and said he couldn't fix the issue b/c the notes in file were not detailed enough. Additionally, the contractor did not think to check the compatibility of the circulation pump to the furnace with the new tank. It therefore burnt out the pump and was left with no heat upon trying it use it for the first time. This resulted in 5 days of back and forth with reliance trying to just get them to replace a simple pump. Booking appointments with out them showing up and also just getting no updates from anyone on when they will get the part. I have taken off so much time from work for appointments with them for nothing to get resolved its unbelievable. ABSOLUTE WORST EXPERIENCE I HAVE HAD WITH ANY COMPANY IN MY LIFE. I hope everyone else fairs much better with them
