    central air

    Rodney and his partner were quick to respond to our service call for our air conditioner. It turned out it was the fan condenser motor. He called and was able to get one for us and it is to be delivered to us tomorrow. He explained exactly what had to be done and we were impressed with the quickness of his call and being able to order the part especially when he told us that they had been out of stock throughout North America. I would recommend Rodney for a raise because of his skills, knowledge and people interactions. Thank you Rodney

    Air conditioner

    I had no a/c it was broken . The apt.was at 10;30,the worker was prompt,informative helpful and fast. We were all so happy the a/c was fixed,excellent fast service. Thanks so much we were all happy.

    Central air replacement

    My central air unit stopped working suddenly one evening. Reliance was able to it check out the next day. I decided to replace it and the home comfort advisor was able to make it to my house the very same day! He was friendly, honest and upfront and did a thorough analysis of my house in order to recommend the most ideal product to suit my needs. My new central air system was installed almost immediately. Once again, the staff that did the installation were all very friendly and respectful, and they took the time to explain the new system to me. I appreciate the excellent and respectful service that was provided to my family and I by each Reliance employee that helped me through this situation.

    Replacement AC & Furnace

    Reliance installed our new furnace and AC earlier today. Our sales rep (Kelly) was very detailed and honest about the circumstances surrounding the products available, as well as any issues that we may encounter during the install. She provided us with numerous helpful pointers we needed to consider during the vendor and product selection process. Once we decided to proceed with Reliance, the install team (Mike and Luciano) were available the very next day. We were impressed with their level of professionalism, tidiness and speed in completing our job. They answered all of our questions with patience and addressed our requests. We will be recommending Reliance to our family and friends.

    water heater not working

    no hot water yesterday. tried to turn on the pilot light again on the water heater...it worked but only temporarily. went out so called for a tech to come and have a look at it. Mark Cooper was friendly, quickly replaced the broken part and now I have hot water again in 35 degree weather...hurray?! sorry I didn't have A/C in my home but at least the problem was in the 'cool' basement

    Cooling Protection Plan

    We have had a cooling protection plan for over 5 years & paying close to $1,000 in monthly fees. Having an AC failure we contacted Reliance service. who sent a technician, The technician said the unit is so old it cannot be fixed as there are no parts available. My complaint is with the company who continued to take my money for a plan that they knew would never be honored by being unable to repair an older unit. And they knew of the age of the unit when I was talked into signing up for the cooling protection plan. NEVER AGAIN with Reliance & I am alerting all my family & friends

    AC Replacement - Excellent

    Air Conditioner gave up. Reliance were the second people I contacted after getting an absolutely unreasonable quote from a competitor. They were there the following morning. Sep and his team from Protect Air were done quickly and cleaned up everything, keeping me apprised every step of the way. Very pleased with everything.

    Air Conditioner Service Plan

    I was having issues with my air conditioner, the fan in my unit had stopped working and there was no cool air coming out of the vents. I called reliance and they send their technician, the first guy who came pretty much did nothing and just pushed the fan to move and luckily fan started moving. He did nothing else and still stayed here for 30-45 mins pretending that he was still working on my unit. He claimed that he cleaned the motor and everything but I doubt that he even opened the Unit. He just seemed so disinterested and lazy on working at my unit. He didn’t take ownership of his job and was not very helpful. After he left my Unit worked for few hours but then suddenly stopped working again and I was without any air. We couldn’t sleep whole night because of this person’s unprofessional job. I was frustrated and called reliance again, this time they send another guy whose name was Ian Brown. I have to admit that he was the most knowledgeable, hard working, honest and reliable person that I have myself ever come across in my life. He spended almost 3 hours at my house while fixing my unit. He opened the entire Unit, washed it and then took the motor out to repair it. He said I will need new parts and he will order them for me but till they arrive he didn’t wanted us to stay in heat, so he fixed my Unit temporarily and did an amazing job. My air is working better than before and my Unit is much efficient and quitter now as compare to before. I am still waiting for my new parts to deliver but his temporary fix job was amazing. I am absolutely so impressed by Mr Ian Brown and I will recommend him and reliance to my friends and family. He is an amazing and kind hearted person. He is very helpful and not lazy like the other technician who came before him. He is an absolute best asset to the company and I will request that he should definitely be consider for a promotion and pay raise because he deserves every cent of it. The other technicians who don’t take ownership of their job should not be asked to fix customers problems. Mr Ian Brown is the most knowledgeable, honest and efficient person.     New furnace and air conditioner

    I obtained quotes from several HVAC companies and decided to go with Reliance. To start, the sales rep Brad Chisholm was very good, knowledgeable, and wanted to make sure we got exactly what we needed not what we thought we needed. The installation was painless and this was due to such an experienced installer as Najib Sadiqi. Najib was the perfect person you would want in your home. He takes great pride in his work, making sure all hook-ups were perfect, all lines were installed as neatly and out of the way as possible and cleaned up both inside and outside the home. I would highly recommend him. No review on the appliances themselves at this time because they are only a couple of days in and I couldn't give an informed review yet. - Beverley from Burlington Ontario.

    Ac purchase and home improvement advise

    Victor provided professional service. Although the first installation didn't go in because of the physical size of the A/C , Victor came to our house right away and reschedule another install immediately. He also take his time to give me advise on future basement project that might affect HVAC equipment upgrade and regulation. Overall experience is excellent and professional, Thank you Victor!
