    Heating maintenance and Repair

    My furnace stopped working on Saturday morning. I called the Reliance help line and had an appointment scheduled for the next morning. On Sunday at 10 AM the technician arrived, promptly identified the issue, and replaced the faulty component with a spare he had in his van. The repair was covered by my maintenance contract. Excellent Service!

    Avoid Reliance!! Very Expensive Cancellation Charges

    We inherited a water heater rental from Reliance when we purchased our home. We needed a new furnace and air conditioner, and so had several companies come in to give cost quotes. Several of the companies noted that our water heater was not installed correctly and safely (it was improperly vented), and indicated that the water heater would therefore need to be replaced as well. Reliance charged us $450 to return the water heater, even though their policy as stated on their website is to charge only $105. The company that installed our new water heater removed the old one for us, and the Reliance worker was at our house for less than 5 minutes to pick it up. We complained several times that this charge was unreasonable, but Reliance refused to reduce the charge. I would strongly recommend that you avoid getting a water heater rental with Reliance! They engage in unreasonable and anticompetitive practices, and have been fined $5 Million for these practices by the Competition Bureau (http://www.competitionbureau.gc.ca/eic/site/cb-bc.nsf/eng/03836.html).

    service call on humidifier

    We had a problem with our humidifier on the furnace and called Reliance for service as they were the company that we originally purchased our furnace, air cleaner and humidifier from. Stephen F. was the repair man that came out and he was excellent. He found the problem very quickly, replaced necessary parts and even parts that may have worn in the future to save us from making another call. Would recommend him for service anytime and will ask for him if we ever require service again.

    Furnace broke down on New Year's day

    Our 18 year old furnace broke down on New Year's day. I called around but no one was getting back to me. The thermostat was dipping very quickly. I found Reliance Home Comfort on Home Stars and they had great reviews. Called them up in the afternoon and we had a technician in the next morning. He quickly diagnosed the problem and fixed it on the spot. We now have heat again! Wonderful service! Darrel was very knowledgeable and answered all of our questions and concerns. I highly recommend them and I would give them a call again in a heart beat!

    Furnace/A.C/tankless water heater replacement

    Darius Chichgur was the first point of contact at this company who took time to review our needs. He walked me through all the options and pricing and recommend the most suitable package. He was very patient to address all my concerns. I found Darius professional, courteous and knowledgeable. I felt confident that he had my best interest in mind. As discussed, installation crew, (Sam, Mike and Luciano) arrived on time and removed old equipment and installed new equipment. They explained all components, controls, maintenance. They cleaned up perfectly at end of day. I would be happy to recommend Reliance and this installation team anytime.

    new furnace

    our furnace died right before christmas. the sales guy came over on the same day i called to give us a quote. i shopped around and they price matched the best deal i could find. the sales guy came back at 930 at night to do some measurements and the furnace was installed the next day. the installers were friendly, professional and knowledgable.

    Water heater

    Excellent service provided to us by Reliance technicians Brandon and Ash during the eve of the new year 2016. Our heater went down and there was no hot water in our bathrooms. Difficult situation in winter times! They went beyond the call of duty to accommodate our need during this very busy time. We have appreciated their hard work, honesty and above all their willingness to listen to us and help us through. Thanks Brandon and Ash for your excellent service and support.     Replacing old boiler and hot water tank with new high efficiency Combi boiler

    It was an excellent and professional customer service by the sales advisor (Mr. Omer Sheikh). He was very patient to address all my concerns. The removal of the existing boiler and hot water tank and installation of new combi boiler was also done very well. I would definitely recommend Home Comfort Reliance and the product (Rennai combi boiler).

    We had a leaking hot water tank, we called and got same day service. Av and Ryan arrived and promptly established we needed a new unit. They replaced it quickly and left things as though they'd never been here! We are very pleased!

    Hot Water Tank Repair

    Our hot water tank stopped working today (New Years Eve 2015). I called for an appointment and was told it would be for tomorrow morning. Within half an hour, I got a call from the company asking if it was convenient for the company to send a man today. I said yes and they said that a technician would call within two hours. The technician called within a few minutes and showed up shortly thereafter. The technician (Jason Mitruk) put shoe covers over his boots and went downstairs to check out the tank. The man was polite and obviously knew what he was doing. The service call was completed in a few minutes which was great for my family. Thanks Jason.
