    Furnace troubles

    Called Reliance during the Christmas holidays. Unlike their direct competitor who split their gas and services division some time ago, Reliance did not charge a premium to address my problem during this period. With temperatures dropping, Reliance was able to send their expert, Jason Silva, that very morning. Jason called 15 minutes before his arrival and within the scheduled time slot. Jason was prompt, courteous, knowledgable and most importantly, honest. This level of service was appreciated and means Reliance is now my preferred service provider for heating or cooling matters.

    Water Heater [Rental]

    Pilot light would not stay lit. Technician came twice to repair and after the third time the technician said to call and I will come myself tomorrow and replace the [Giant] Water Heater with a [Rheem] Water Heater. The technician arrived early replaced the Water Heater. He did a good job and replaced the heater in 3/4 hr. We had hot water 1 hr. later. The technician was very good,clean,polite and cleaned up after himself. A excellent job well done. Very satisfied.

    Home Water heater

    Called before coming, explained what was wrong very well and excellent service overall. Will definitely recommend this service to family and friends. Made things super easy to understand had no problems at all.

    Furnance, A/C and Tankless Water Heater

    After our furnace of 25 years died, we had the pleasure of meeting with John Bielas, Home Comfort Advisor, who was great. We met with a couple of other company's but John's knowledge, experience, professionalism and price put Reliance head and shoulders above the rest and they didn't try and oversell us with the different units. On installation day the Reliance team arrived on time removed old equipment and installed new equipment and cleaned up perfectly. Love the fact that they put down runners for them to walk on and wore booties. After the install they took the time to explained all components, controls, maintenance. Overall, an excellent experience from start to finish.

    Tankless hot water

    Had a technician John come and fix hot water tank, he was great and informed us that wasn't put in properly the first time. We have had issues since installed in May and was missing parts that they were to return with but never did. John was very informative and thorough.

    Smart Thermostat instalation

    I had an old thermostat unit and wanted to replace for a new one (Ecobee3) and called Reliance to do the service after some quotes from different service providers. Joe Green came and review the situation, installed the new unit and made sure everything was working successfully. Plus explained how everything works and what I should keep an eye for maintenance. Awesome job and I'm very happy with the results.

    Goodman 96% Efficient Furnace and Air Conditioner Install

    I wish to totally retract what I said about this company. They are the worst people I have ever met in my life. Their business model has "No Ethics" what so ever. Watch out, better yet run as fast as you can from them. They will stick it to you any way they can. I know this has been a long time since I wrote the original review. They even get you to write a good review before you find out how scummy they are. No doubt they won't even let this review be seen as I believe that have to approve each and every review. Absolute TRASH!!!! Replaced 40 year old Furnace and 2.5 Ton Rheem Air Conditioner with a 96% efficient GOODMAN 60,000 BTU Furnace, Air Conditioner and Smart NEST Thermostat. It took Jesse and Kyle (Team #3259 and #3294 respectively) a solid 8 hours to get the job done. I was very impressed with their diligence and Professionalism.

    New Furnace

    I’d like to share my recent positive experience with one of Reliant’s Home Comfort Advisors Andrew McMaster. I just purchased a new house and inherited a 16 yr old furnace that was overheating because of a faulty heat exchanger. Of course I only discovered this on the coldest day of this winter on Monday December 28th and realized I required a new furnace. As this was discovered late in the afternoon, I was pleased that I was able to make an appointment that same day in the evening. Even despite the weather suddenly changing to a harsh winter storm that evening I was really surprised that the home comfort advisor Andrew McMaster was still able to make it to our house with a smile. His service was spectacular and was very accommodating. I found Andrew extremely helpful and knowledgeable. I asked a lot of questions and I could quickly tell he knows his stuff and he was able to answer my questions very clearly. After my meeting with Andrew, I told him I needed a day to shop around for other furnaces. I contacted Reliant’s competition who referred us to a local office that never called us back. Too bad for them because Andrew had already texted me to follow up from our initial meeting and asked if I had any questions or concerns. I liked that he was very attentive to my needs and allowed me to text him more questions I had forgotten. Tired of waiting for the competition, I ended up meeting with Andrew again who had no problem giving me a last minute appointment to finalize the purchase of a new furnace. I was expecting this entire process to be painful and long but overall I was very pleased with my experience with Andrew and Reliance on their prompt and expert service. I definitely would recommend him to others.

    Furnace Repair

    Two technicians at time of service. Very knowledgeable and took time to explain their work as they completed it. Problem solved problem successfully and made great effort to find the problem. Any technician I have ever experienced prior (from other companies) would have swapped out parts, or the unit itself at my cost to meet their time lines. It is not usual to find this type of customer service in today's day and age. It is very much appreciated that you hire people that want to do a good job! Team Member was Mike Steinbach team member number was 0750. I did not get the other technicians name - but thanks for doing your job well.

    Furnace Repair

    The service technician Joe V called me at work as per my arrangements with the CSR and waited for my arrival which was about 10 minutes. He even cautioned me on the condition of the roads and said to exercise care as they were icy. The furnace was fixed quickly and professionally and was covered under my protection insurance with Reliance. I appreciated his courtesy and for protecting my floors with booties. Thanks so much for a great experience
