Reliance Home Comfort reviews (13631)

Have a rental water heater with Reliance that was replaced recently. The replacement install was performed by a contractor, and was absolutely horrendous. My laminate floor above was damaged by a screw on the exhaust pipe hanger, the exhaust pipe caulking outside was very sloppy and the gas supply line had some pretty weird angles. When I called Reliance they sent the contractor back to my home and he denied any responsibility. My original thought was to come on here and bash Reliance, however I thought it over and decided to contact them again and give them another chance. I received a call from a Service Manager Joe G. and made an appointment with him to inspect the damage. He came as promised with another Manager, Mario C. and inspected the install. These gentlemen were very professional and explained that they would take care of the problem to my standards. They arranged for a flooring company to repair our laminate floor. They also sent a company Water Heater Installer to our home named Ben P. This young man was also very professional. He came into my home and treated me with full respect. The repairs were top notch and he had excellent customer service skills. Definitely an asset to Reliance. If it wasn't for the original mess, the rating would be a 10.

The Home Comfort Advisor, Dean Timpany, was personable, knowledgeable, and at no time was he pushy. I really liked his approach. He gave us all the information we needed in order to make a decision. We're being installed tomorrow!

I called about a malfunctioning hot water tank and they were able to get to me within 24 hrs. The technician was courteous, professional and punctual. He explained everything and offered advise in correcting future issues.

The service worker, Gurmeet, was excellent! Very friendly and explained what the problem was with the tank. The last guy that was called in didn't fix anything at all, but Gurmeet was awesome and completed the task at hand. I would recommend him to others.

Our hot water tank wasn't working. Philip Sirek came out to the house less than an hour after our call to Reliance. He fixed the issue in less than 5 minutes and gave us his card to call directly should we have any other issues. Wonderful service!

We could not figure out the cause of our new air conditioner not working. But Dave O. #1685 showed up promptly and in a friendly professional manner quickly found, fixed and walked me through the problem. Great job! Great service! High Five Dave :)

Josh Wynne was great. He was extremely nice, professional, helpful and friendly. His level of customer service far exceeded my expectations. thank you Reliance for having employees like Josh Wynne.

Had Kyle come for a tune-up for A/C and furnace. He mentioned A/C wasn't working to its full potential and recommended that we speak with a Home Advisor. Dean Timpany came to our home and told us our options and what would be good for us. He was very informative and answered all of our questions. Two days later had furnace and A/C installed by Dave and Christine who also did a very good job. Everything was cleaned up and there was no mess anywhere. Also had Collin and Matt come and install a Tankless Water Heater. Again, everything was cleaned up and there was no mess. All techs were very punctual and courteous. From sales to technicians I would recommend Reliance to friends and family.
