    Non-stop Running furnac (Rental)

    The worst service ever. I have been renting my unit since 2008. I have had the same problem for 2yrs & the solution suggest was by micro furnaces. Nothing else... For two years on going. I pay this amount monthly.

    Noisy Furnace

    My service man Ed, found out that my furnace had a piece of plastic floating around, which made the noise. Then, my control on the wall needed new batteries, which I didn't know, so he reset the time and put my new batteries in for me. Then, when he was leaving, my door had a loose door knob, so over and beyond the call of duty, he got out his tools and tightened the door knob for me, which he didn't even have to do. I was very pleased when he left. Not every service man would have done all that for a customer.Thanks again to Ed........Barb E.

    Water heater

    Sam code 1382 from reliance came over to repair the water heater. He was very fast and quick and very knowledgeable to fix the water boiler, very efficient and he also cleaned the mess. The boiler was again in place working.

    Furnace & Air Conditioner Replacement

    My old furnace from Direct Energy died when the temperatures were below -20. I called them for service, and they said the repairman would be at my home between 8:00 p.m. and midnight that evening. I got home at 8:03 p.m. and discovered he'd already been and gone. I called the company to ask that he be recalled to my home (after all, he should have been no more than 3 minutes away), they said it was no longer possible to get anyone to my home that night...even though I explained my house was freezing and that I have parrots who cannot tolerate the cold. (Everyone I spoke with at Direct Energy's call centre seemed uncaring and completely uninterested in helping me with my plight.) I called another company, and they had someone at my home within 30 minutes...he said the furnace was in extremely bad shape (despite the fact that it had been serviced annually by Direct Energy). Since I had a heating insurance contract with Direct Energy and the repairs would be very major, he said I should call in Direct Energy. I finally got Direct Energy in the next day (after an absolutely horrible, freezing night trying to keep my birds warm without a heater!). The repairman told me the repairs were very major and it might be better to replace it. He said they'd send someone over for a quote, but I also wanted to hear from another company, so I called Reliance. Omer from Reliance arrived in about an hour. He was polite, knowledgeable and used a no-pressure approach. The Direct Energy salesperson arrived later, and said it would take days to get the work done because an old pipe (not directly connected to the furnace) had to be replaced first. So, I chose to go with Reliance (they said the pipe did not have to be replaced). I had a new furnace installed in under 24 hours. And, because I had to wait overnight, Omer went to the Reliance office and got two space heaters to lend me while waiting for the installation, so my birds could stay warm.) The Reliance installers were very polite, knowledgeable and utterly focused on getting the work done. It took only 3 hours to get the job finished, including a clean-up at the end. (The new air conditioner I also bought will be installed after the snow melts later in the year.) While I don't think Reliance was necessarily the lowest cost provider, you get what you pay for, and I do think their price was fair. Definitely choose this company if you want fast, friendly and reliable service. Thank you, Reliance!!

    Yearly service on furnace

    Service was 2 days earlier than booked. Courteous service both from the booking rep to the service tech. Friendly and fast! I am happy with my recent purchase of heating and cooling equipment from Reliance and would highly recommend the company to my family and friends.

    Furnace repair

    James L, employee # 2881, was extremely helpful, showed up on time and provided excellent, efficient and friendly service, this was so important because there was no heat in our house in early February! Problem fixed.

    Furnace Service

    Not only was Bruce M. on time, but he was courteous and explained what he was doing and what we should do after. He even put up with the non stop barking of our little dogs.

    Problems with the thermostat

    We were having trouble with the thermostat because the wall behind it had a hole in it. Paul #2060 was amazing. He explained why this was happening and how we could fix it. In detail he gave me the instructions on filling the hole and his tips on the best way to do it. He was so easy to talk to and work with. He came in on time, spent as much time with us as we needed. He could have easily come in, tell us to call a handyman and left. But he spent time with us and really gave me some good advice. I really enjoyed my time with Paul and want to thank him for his help. I would love to have him back to help us anytime!

    Tankless water heater flush

    We have had issues with tankless water heater and water softener for years. Called many different people to fix, Tia wonderful man is the only one who was able to help us. Not only did he flush the tankless three times to ensure it was complete he also helped with the water softener and gave advice for our furnace. He went above and beyond what was expected and was very nice and polite. By far the best advisor we have had here for this issue. So thankful for Adam L #1234 from Reliance, a great job done.
