    Central Air Assessment to Fix

    We phoned reliance Sunday and had a representative come on Tuesday (very quickly). His name was Rob and he was extremely knowledgeable, patient and helpful. Very much appreciated the service. Would highly recommend.

    Excellent Service!

    I have honestly never dealt with a company that made my life easier!! I am a single mother with a child that has a disability. I'm telling you I had no water for over a week and even the thoughts of trying to deal with this issue was hard for me! I purchased my Grandfathers home and all of the wonderful memories and ISSUES lol. They were so pleasant answered my questions to make it as simple and affordable as possible! Even took out my old tank! I will recommend to anyone asking! Nick and Connor well they can come over for dinner lol felt like family <3

    Clogged Sink

    AC Install

    Had issues with my 12 year old AC and called Reliance, they came in 4 hours time and diagnosed that the refrigerant leak happened with the unit and recommended a replacement, Reyna the sales person came in an hour and patiently explained the different options to our family on both technical and commercial aspects and helped us choose an appropriate new AC and payment options. The very next day we had the Install people appear at 8 AM and by 11 AM they were gone and the new AC working very well to my satisfaction. All along this short 12 hour process from Diagnosis to Install, the people at Reliance were absolutely the best that I have ever encountered and I have seen so many of the top notch sales and service guys who take care of home appliances. I would recommend Reliance Home comfort without any hesitation to my friends and neighbours!!

    Reliance service call

    Part of Reliance protection plan. Called re: broken thermostat. It was replaced same day. Courteous, efficient, knowledgeable repairman.

    Great Service!

    Rocco came in and was quick and efficient with clearing the blockage in my sink. Fantastic work and he was very professional. 10/10 service

    furnace instillation

    don't call on Reliance. November 2021 we hade Reliance install a new furnace. the day after a second crew fixed the mistakes the first crew made. a few weeks later after a snowfall the chimney started leaking .a third crew was sent to supposedly seal the new chimney liner. this spring after a rainfall the chimney leaked again. after another call Reliance said they would send someone next day. it's been a couple of weeks after the second call about the leak and no one has shown up.no explanation.so far they have refused to remedy the problem. don't call on reliance

    Terrible experience

    I moved into my house with a poor furnace in September of 2016. In December I realized I needed to fix it before it gets too cold. I called Reliance and the salesperson quickly tried to sell me things probably with only commission in mind. He convinced me to replace both the furnace and water heater and rent with Reliance. He didnt think about how I could save money. The biggest regret here is I didnt get to take advantage of any energy rebates with Enbridge or (at that time) GreenON. This was thousands of dollars. He could have told me to perform an audit first but didnt. Another issue has already been resolved but I feel I should mention it. The salesman said I was not locked into any contract. When I realized he had me paying almost $100 a month just for the furnace I told him I wanted to buy the furnace. He said ok, the price is $8000 (roughly). He just basically took the rent price and multiplied it by 7 years. It was like I was in a 7 year contract! I complained and finally got it reduced in the end. Still a major bummer that I couldnt use any rebates. Next were the workers. They said they have to replace some pipes and ended up cutting the ceiling in my garage, 3 large rectangular cuts in my basement ceiling, and 2 large rectangles cuts in the wall of the furnace room (which is in my garage). They completely left alone the L shaped cut across my garage ceiling with insulation spilling over. For the basement and furnace room they covered up the windows with vents crudely screwed in. I had to fix my garage ceiling myself. Insulation was all over the place! To think I even bought them coffee! Overall extremely sloppy work. Scratches found on newly painted basement walls too. I thought that would be it but fast forward a few months and another problem came up. I wasnt getting any water in my house. Turns out because of the 2 cutouts in the furnace wall that cold air was able to go in and freeze my pipes. I had to get help from a professional plumber. I will also have to somehow fix the cut outs in my basement ceiling because cold air is going in and debris keeps falling from them and making a mess below. Fast forward to 2022 and I am having problems with their work again. They used expanding foam to cover the hole on my outside wall where the pipes terminated. The foam has shrunk and exposed a large hole. A squirrel found the hole and has made my house it's new home. It has chewed it's way all the way to my furnace room. I realized this when I went in and found insulation everywhere. I asked Reliance to fix it. It's been over a month with no reply.

    AIR CONDITIONER AND FURNACE MAINTENANCE

    I called Reliance on Monday and booked a maintenance appointment for Friday. Ryan C, 2262, arrived on time and was very thorough and efficient. He thoroughly reviewed the work that he completed with me. Ryan answered my questions about the maintenance that he completed. I greatly appreciate the great service from Ryan.
