    Plumbing leak in bathroom; replace damaged shut-off valve for house water line

    A leak in the kitchen ceiling led to the discovery of a leak from the toilet's water supply. I called the company and they sent a technician in acouple of hours. (Not bad for a Saturday!!) While trying to turn the water off he discovered that the old shut-off valve was corroded, & stripped. I had to call the City of Toronto to shut the water off from the street. The City didn't arrive 'til 8 P.M.! I had to wait until Sunday to co-ordinate the two. All the people at ANTA were very helpful & professional. And Patrick, the plumber, was calm, professional, and very organised. The work got done quickly, neatly & in short order. I was very pleased with the results.

    Emergency plumbing call

    I called Anta plumbing to my home for a leak in my basement apartment. They arrived within two hours. I was very impressed. Michael was polite, professional and fair. Will call Anta for any future plumbing issues. Thank you Ms Arsenault

    Plumbing installation

    I just want to say thank you to Michael. He was very polie, courteous and I appreciated the fact that he called to say he would be at my place at a certain time and he actually showed up. He completed his tasks and cleaned up after himself. I would not hesitate to recommend him to my friends.

    Water service replacement, hot/cold exterior faucet install, valve replacement

    As a result of the City of Toronto water meter replacement program, I had to replace the existing 1/2" galvanized water service pipe because the installer refused to perform any work on the existing pipe. I obtained three quotes including Anta. When I called Anta, Susan was very polite and sent Steve the same day. Steve was straightforward and provided a lower price than the other estimates I had already obtained. I made an appointment for the following week. Steve put everything in writing. Plumbers Igor and Marius started the work on-time and were very polite and hard-working. They dug holes in my basement and driveway to replace the water service. They filled the holes after and cleaned up both sites. I upgraded to 3/4" copper to increase water pressure. Igor showed me the 100 year old galvanized pipe he removed. It was so rusted inside there was only a pinhead-size opening for water to get through. The water pressure is incredible now. Igor and Marius also installed a shut-off valve on a pipe to the front exterior faucet and installed a frost-free hot/cold faucet at the back of the house (year round warm water for washing the dog and car). I would recommend any homeowner with 1/2" water service upgrade to 3/4" and I would recommend Anta to do the work. The only unforeseen side issue is that my old hot water tank now runs out of hot water quickly. AWESOME WATER PRESSURE! Next project: tankless water heater!

    Emergency leak repair

    Sunday January 8th, I called for emergency service arround 5pm, at 6h15 Salvator was at my house, he did a wonderfull job fixing the valve for my hot water tank. I am pretty impress with the service and the quality of the job thank you again.

    Waterline Replacement

    The guys at AnTa exceeded my expectations! Professional and courteous, the AnTa crew were very mindful of our property, and got the job done on time and within budget. I look forward to working with them again, and would recommend them to friends and family for their plumbing needs.

    Plumbling, installing a sump pump

    I called Anta Plumbing at 416 231 333, and spoke to Sarah, who is so very helpful, efficient, polite and courteous. Steve and Vlad came over very promptly and assessed the problem and gave solutions and cost estimates. They also explained about the City of Toronto Subsidy which I am eligible to claim from the City of Toronto.They are very efficient , knowledgable and very courteous. Shortly thereafter, Anta sent over Igor and Marius, who did an excellent job. They are both very skilled and worked very hard and did the job extremely efficiently. Again, these highly skilled workers were also very efficient, knowledgeable, hard working and courteous. Before starting the job, Igor and Marius laid down protective cloths so that the floors and carpets would not get dirty. Upon completing the entire job, they cleaned up the place so beautifully. I was very impressed and pleased with the work. Highly recommended.

    Personal relations

    I called Anta and was pleasently impressed. It was easy to work with the office staff upon explanation of the work that needed to be done and the fellow who came out to find this trouble-some leak solved it with ease. Great company, I made sure to grab some cards for friends and relatives

    water line upgrade :1/5 in lead to 1 in polypipe

    Same experience as Sean on Danforth (below): had to upgrade the water line on our side. Went through different quote and technical explanations. Steve came to my place and was the only one to explain simply what was required. His quote was fair. Steve's crew came the next day, leaded by Igor. Very professional, calm, polite, clean job, pay attention to your place and surroundings. I just finished renovating my house, it took us 6 months and many different contractors. Anta was by far one our best experience. I will ask them next year to waterproof my basement. I am glad to have a company that I can fully trust.

    drain cleaning

    Anta made good on a service call to clean multiple drains in my condo that were backed up with some nasty stuff. Patrick was very attentive, clean and professional! Thank you Anta!!
