We have been quite happy with the service we received by Telly and staff at Pollard Windows. The windows are beautiful and any small problems we had were dealt with in a timely manner. I would (and already have) recommend Pollard for your new windows.

My husband and I recently completed building our custom home. We chose Pollard Windows because we knew they provide good quality windows. We were not disappointed with our windows and service. Windows are such an important feature of a home...Pollard windows look great and are fabulous! Their quality is excellent and Telly, our sales rep was very informative and helpful. We would highly recommend Pollard windows to anyone!

I renovate and restore older homes in central Toronto and have used Pollard Windows for my last 3 projects (2 of them turn of the century Victorians). The windows have been a real selling feature, people have commented on how beautiful they are, and my representative Mark has given me impeccable service which is very important and valuable to me in my business. I will continue to use them going forward, and recommend them to others.

I found the salesperson that came to my home to be very professional and knowledgable and was willing to spend as much time as needed to explain everything to me in detail. My dad got new windows a few years ago, and kept going on and on about how great Pollard was. When it was time for my wife and I to replace our two bedroom and living room windows, Pollard was the first one we called (though we had a few calls from others that got our name frm the home show). I can honestly say that when my kids come over, they get tired of me going on and on about how great Pollard is. They look awesome, our bedrooms are no longer freezing, and Stan and his crew were just a pleasure to deal with. On time, professional service. I would highly recommend them.

It's no accident that all of the positive reviews for this company are for the West end location. Leaside is to be avoided.

Here's just a partial list of their errors: drilled French doors on wrong side got grill pattern wrong on some windows and put snap-on grills instead of permanent wooden grills on others delivered doors instead of windows destroyed hardwood floors during installation process miscalculated dimensions for transom and late on delivery every time. Pricing is good, but with Leaside this just proves the maxim that you get what you pay for.

It doesn't matter how much business you give them, their sales guy says whatever will cover off his own story best rather than fix his mistakes. If you want zero accountability and to fight really hard for what you ordered, just call up Pollard's Leaside location. Their head office is a different story they have an understanding of cutomer service and Tony is REALLY great. But it's time for the owners to investigate just how incompetent the Leaside office really is.

We had heard that Pollard made a good product - in Canada - and requested a quote for 3 replacement windows and a new front door. Stan was our sales rep. First of all, when the windows arrived after ten weeks, it turned out he'd ordered the incorrect colours. His answer was he'd have them painted but we'd ordered the baked-on finish becasue it lasts longer and requires no maintenance. Then it turned out that he'd not ordered the proper 9 light window for the dining room and we got a plain window instead - there wasn't anything wrong with the plain one already there - we were replacing it because we wanted the look. He ordered the stick-on interior and exterior muntins to give us that look - and charged us - and provided these in yet another exterior colour that did not match the frame! Six months later, the front door installation showed its lack of workmanship - gaps of up to an inch were appearing between the frame and the wall along the brick moulding. All in all a terrible, time-wasting experience. We sold our house more than a year later and still the situation had not been resolved. Draw your own conclusion but we'll never even consider Pollard again.

As a smaller home builder, there are always struggles with respect to competing against the continually growing giant corporations in Canada today. It seems that these building companies continue to focus on saving every penny as long as they meet minimum code standards and the customer doesn't really understand what quality should be as long as the home looks good when they finalize the deal. We choose to lead and not follow bad examples which is why we recently changed our supplier for windows and doors because we felt that our customers deserved better value for the most important purchase in their life and future to come. We researched five respectable window and door manufacturers and decided to purchase our requirements from Pollard Windows in Burlington. Telly Stogious, our sales representative is not your typical sales agent. He listens, gives you what you need and doesn't try to sell you a bag of goods just because your in the mind set to buy product. Further, he didn't treat us as a small volume purchaser but instead with the same respect and advantages as bigger builders. I admit that Pollard was definetly not the cheapest quote amongst other competitors, but at least we don't find ourselves constantly tweaking and fixing door and window issues throughout not only the building stage but through the first months of occupancy. I'm still going to challenge Telly on pricing but for the time being l'm proud to say " OUR HOMES ARE BUILT WITH POLLARD WINDOWS".

We own a 15 year old custom home with a stucco exterior and large windows in rooms with 12 foot ceilings...we wanted to maintain the wood interior but move to maintenance free vinyl clad exterior. All of the contractors who provided estimates expressed concern that removal of the existing windows would damage the stucco. Only pollard offered us a solution that preserved the stucco without any damage. The sales team (led by Dan and Dave) who provided the estimate were very professional and reassuring about our concern re damage to the stucco. The installation team (led by Andre) were also very professional and courteous. My wife and I are very happy with the installation, colour match and overall quality of the windows. We would highly recommend Pollard for their service and the quality of their product.

My husband and I have lived in an 80+ year old house for seven years now. We knew from day one that several of our windows really needed replacing. We are parents of 4 young children, so I don't need to say that we are on a very tight budget. As a result, we have decided to tackle our "window problem" in stages, and we decided to install the windows ourselves with family help. We are now only partway through our replacement project. Darrin of Pollard Windows was only too happy to accomodate our "plan". He was never pushy or unreasonable about giving us more than we really could manage at the time. In the showroom and at our home, he gave us the assurance that he knows exactly what he's talking about and does his work with accuracy. We are so pleased with the quality of the windows that are already installed. Now on the brink of a major renovation, we will be visiting Darrin again soon, no questions asked.
