I am the manager of your local Weed-A-Way Lawn Care service provider. I wanted to reply personally and let you know I was disappointed to see this review and the false information you have provided along with the unnecessary comments. We at Weed-A-Way take tremendous pride in providing the best service to our customers and apologize that we did not meet your expectations.
However you did state you were happy with the weed-control and your lawn was thick and green. Therefore I am not really sure why the review was done in the fist place but I will not pick apart your review and state the facts I am going simply say that we try to cover all the bases, we aren't perfect, The technician did admit that he spilt a little fertilizer at the end of your property which is just under an acre that being said a lot of product was needed and mistakes do happen and he did report it back to the office that only thing needed to fix his mistake was to water to dilute the product and apply more seeds which the instructions were left for you. When I had personally called you to follow up on how the lawn was doing, you said the seed did not take, I had then informed you that I would send the owner out and have a look.
The owner did call first to find exactly what the problem was and was definitely ready to come out and do whatever was needed in the spring to satisfy his customer because the first call from you was not until the beginning of November and at that time the lawn is dormancy which explains why he said he would come out in the spring .We obviously let you down, and apologize for any inconvenience we may have caused you. No one in the industry can match our dedication to providing you with a beautiful lawn and great service!

We want each person we do business with to walk away feeling satisfied, and that apparently didn't happen in your case but then again we were not given the chance. However I do think it’s important to let other readers know that this review is inaccurate the customer was offered for a technician to come out and fix the problem.

The results of weed control services may take more than one season to fully develop; we have only started to work on your lawn this year. I do apologize on behalf of the company however we have two Weed-A-Way Managers and we can assure you we do not respond in that manner. Weed-A-Way's family business has been servicing your neighbors for over 40 years. Customer service is our number one goal :)

*Weed Control: FIESTA: A highly-recommended timely weed control which is composed of iron and is odourless, Fiesta kills the weeds but does not harm the lawn. It is applied by our highly qualified technicians throughout your season long program. Weeds compete with grass and plants for nutrients, water and sunlight. Broadleaf weeds are usually the greatest threat. If not dealt with quickly, they can destroy all your hard work. Effective weed control solutions from Weed-A-Way lawn services will ensure a healthy and vibrant lawn. We have extensive experience in dealing with various types of weeds like dandelion, broadleaf plantain, etc., and know how to deal with each one.
*Core Aeration: The secret to a lush, green lawn is core aeration. Soil compacts over time and especially with traffic. Core aeration allows nutrients, water and oxygen to reach grass roots more easily. However, lawn aeration is more than just punching holes in the ground. You must have the proper equipment and be willing to set aside a couple of hours for aeration. It’s also important to know when your garden needs core aeration. *Grub Treatment: Typically, grubs attack grass roots. A damaged root system results in a poor quality lawn with dirty, yellowish brown patches. However, in order for your lime treatment to be effective, you must have knowledge of your soil’s pH levels. *Overseeding and Core Aeration: Core aeration makes your overseeding efforts worthwhile. By unplugging the soil in a methodical way, you can remove thatch and reduce soil compaction as well as increase success of weed, surface insect and lime treatments. But a significant benefit of core aeration with regard to overseeding is that it allows the nutrients to reach the seeds and roots faster.
