My dishwasher was not working properly. I called Sardis Appliance Repair. On Tuesday I got a text message from the technician that he would be in later that day. When the technician got to my house I was working outdoors so my wife took him in to check out the dishwasher. He was there for 4.5 minutes. He told my wife that the dishwasher needed to be replaced as it would cost more to repair it. I found out after she had paid him that he did not test the dishwasher but asked her what was the problem. She told him that the dishes at the top weren't washing properly. From what my wife told him he decided that the motor was defective. I should have paid my wife as the technician never checked it out and didn't test anything. When I got the charge it said that it came from another repair place in Vancouver. The Sardis Appliance repair and technician's phone numbers are also from Vancouver. Obviously, Sardis Appliance is a front for a repair place in Vancouver. They charged me $140 for 4.5 minutes of nothing that's over $1800 an hour. If he had actually checked it out that would have been doable. The technician told my wife that he had another repair in Chilliwack. At this point, I don't even know if it is repairable or not as Sardis Appliance Repair can't be trusted.
