I have a microsuede couch that was looking grungy from lots of use and a young child. I actually thought some of the dark spots on the armrests etc were because the finish had worn off. Wrong! Soft Surfaces was able to clean it so it looks practically brand new including the spots I thought were bare spots. I have been seriously thinking that we would have to buy a new couch because I was so irritated by the look of ours. However, I thought it was worth it to see what a professional cleaning would do. Not only was I amazed at the difference, but my husband noticed the change too. And he didn't even think it was that bad and that I was over-reacting. I wish I had done this sooner, and definitely will call again in a couple of years when spot cleaning just won't cut it any more!

Fred from Soft Surfaces came to my Condo to clean our carpets in preparating for selling, and I am so very glad I chose him! He was very professional, personable, and I felt very comfortable having him in my home. There was a little bit of a mix-up with my property management, which was completely my fault (I forgot to let them know Fred was coming, and I didn't book the elevator for him to bring up his equipment...Ooops!!) yet Fred apologized to ME for the hassle! :) Anyway, he was in and out in just over an hour, even with the extra time I had to spend sorting out his arrival with property management, and my carpets look better than they did the day I moved in 7 yrs ago. His prices were extremely reasonable, and I would certainly recommend him to anyone who wants their carpets clean - you will NOT be disappointed with his work!!

We recently had a flood in our basement. We called around and somehow stumbled upon Fred and Soft Surfaces. That is probably the best thing that came out of a bad circumstance. Fred in not only kind, personable, soft spoken but more importantly knowledgable and thorough. There were no surprises with Fred. We knew step by step what he was doing. He even called us the first night to make sure everything was fine and if we had any more questions. The basement took approx. 3 days to dry and the cost was extremely reasonable. I hope to never have water damage again, but if I do I would definately use Fred again. I also liked the fact that Fred is the owner of the company and does all the work himself.

Fred was an absolute pleasure to work with! He came to our house to give us an estimate for the work and was very helpful in giving us details on what we could do to lengthen the life of our rug which in turn meant us not cleaning it right away... saving us money. Something you don't come across often. He spent a good amount of time with me, answering a ton of questions and objections that I had. He was very patient! The day of the job he was on time and the work he performed was great! We will definitely be calling on Fred again in the future!!

With a dog and white carpets, we have been a challenge, but Soft Surfaces continues to keep our carpets looking new. Fred is personable, came at the appointed time, managed my expectations and worked extremely hard getting out this nasty stain. Also cleaned car upholstery suffering from blood stain. Highly recommended.

Fred was a life saver. Husband was out of town and basement flooded, as insurance company was useless and happy to say they were not going to pay, Fred came to the rescue and managed to get the damp under control immediately.He was super helpful, helped me rearrange all the furniture, came to the house when it suited me best and was courteous and friendly all the time! After a fire in my apartment building, I needed to get some furniture cleaned. I found Soft Surfaces through Homestars, and arranged for an estimate. Fred showed up on time and was willing to spend as much time as needed explaining everything and answering any questions. After having to reschedule original appointment due the water being out in my building, Fred was very flexible and willing to work with me in whatever way necessary to get the job completed. Very happy with the service provided and the results!

Fred did an excellent job of removing the stain from our futon and was an absolute pleasure to deal with. The service was fantastic and the price was very reasonable. I would not hesitate to call him again and I will surely be recommending him to everyone.
