    Home Inspection

    Vahn (our home inspector) was very knowledgable and informative. It felt like he was looking out for our best interest and was taking his time with the inspection (not rushing through it). He was inspecting every corner of the house. He was also answering any questions my husband and I had. The value of the service is excellent as well. He exceeded my expectations and I recommend him 200%!!

    Condo townhome inspection

    He is experienced with wide knowledge. Second opinion by professional is very important and worth it. He also add additional function "Recall Appliance" tracking to service. Good to have him for inspection.

    Home Inspection

    I had no idea what to expect when I needed a home inspector during the purchase of my home. I contacted Solex Group and Vahn talked me through the entire process patiently and respectfully. He was professional yet extremely personable which put me at ease about the biggest purchase of my life. Vahn took the time to go through each and every step of the home inspection and insured that I had a clear understanding of what he was doing at all times. His thorough report showed me what I needed to focus on in the new home using a tiered priority list. I highly recommend Vahn and the Solex Group for your home inspection needs. I'll definitely be contacting them again with all my future purchases.

    Home Inspection

    Round two...This has been my second time around using Vahn at the Solex Group for a home inspection. After a long and tedious home search I finally found a suitable home for myself and my family. The first time I found a house I thought was suitable, it was demonstrated to me by Vahn that this might not be the property for me. Vahns detailed inspection report and extremely informative walk-through allowed me to avoid a potentially costly mistake. If you are looking for the best value and quality of service for a home inspection then honestly look no further. Vahn inspected my second home of choice and once again the complexity of comprehending the soundness of a house was minimized by this inspection. Although there were other offers on this house not asking for an inspection, I wouldn't feel comfortable purchasing a house without one. And the best one around is done by the Solex Group. Thank you Vahn for making me comfortable with my new purchase!

I come across homes that are so hyped up, "fully renovated top to bottom", and staged, that some buyers get emotionally attached to the home and start making irrational decisions - like dropping the home inspection out of their offer.     Home Inspection

    We are in the process of buying a rural property, and even though I am an electrician, I wanted a home inspection due to the complexity of the residence. After reading HomeStars reviews, we chose to go with Solex. I'm glad we did. Vahn Balabanian was exceptionally thorough and professional. He spent 4 hours on site with me, and wen through all areas of the house. Within 24 hours we received a 110 page report which was very detailed and informative. He noticed a lot of issues that I would have overlooked, even with my experience in construction. We definitely will use him again, and would recommend him to anyone who is looking for a home inspector. Thanks for all your help Vahn. You saved us thousands of dollars! Best $475 I spent this year.

    Home Inspection Report

    I contacted Vahn based on the exceptional reviews that he received on this website and I was not disappointed. He gave me a complete run down of what needed to be done, and when I should look at completing the work, as he was conducting the home inspection. I found him to be very friendly and knowledgeable and found his work ethic to be fantastic. I would definitely recommend Vahn to others.

    tarion 30 day inspection

    Very happy with Vahn's inspection. This is actually the second time we hired him for the inspection and he also did pre-sale inspection for our old home. Vahn is professional, knowledgeable and thorough, he updated me in stages during the process so that I am informed about the issues. He is very easy going and answers all of my questions.The best thing I love is that he generates beautiful and easy to understand inspection reports. For home owners, this is very helpful seeing pictures of problem and how it should be done correctly. Would highly recommend this company!

    Home Inspection

    Vahn Balabanian at Solex Group completed a home inspection for me and my husband on July 24, 2015. He was able to schedule us for same day service. Vahn arrived on time, was very friendly, personable, and professional. He was patient in answering questions and seemed very thorough and knowledgeable. The inspection for our little two bedroom bungalow took around 3.5 hours. He gave us tips and advice along the way. We received the finished report the next morning. The report was very detailed and thorough. It included photos from the inspection as well as diagrams and explanations. Each issue found included a timeline of when you should have the issue remediated (e.g. immediately, at earliest opportunity, at your discretion, etc). I have a feeling the report will be our bible for the next little while as we work on the home. We were very happy with the services we received. It is everything we expected and we would certainly recommend Vahn to our friends and family. Even our realtor stated that she thought he did a great job and she would start referring clients to him as well.

    Home Inspection

    Just recently myself and my family found a gorgeous semi-detached home for purchase. Although the entire property was just recently renovated, it was an older home and i knew i had to get a home inspection done. A family friend also in the search for a home referred me to Vahn whom they said did an excellent job inspecting a house they eventually turned down because of his findings. Trusting them i put my trust into Vahn and the Solex Group. Immediately in the inspection Vahn found quite serious safety issues in the property, and was very informative with regards to smaller issues that may become bigger issues in the future, if we decided to purchase. Verbally, Vahn was clear and concise even when it came to technical issues. It was evident that the experience he has gathered in over 14 years in the business makes his product an EXCELLENT value for money. I am definitely hiring Vahn to examine my next potential property.     Pre 30 Days Service

    Vahn was extremely knowledgeable when he did inspection on our townhouse in Markham. He was punctual and brought extensive equipments to assist with the inspection as well. We paid extra for the thermal imaging and thought it was well worth it. The final report that was sent to us within 24 hours was thorough and had pictures that we used on our Tarion report. Overall, choosing Solex was a no brainer for us and would do it again for our 1 year inspection!

    Thanks for the great feedback Chung. Yes, the thermal scan can add value and more insight into a home. For a camera that cost about $10k, it's definitely great value to have the thermal scan done in addition to a home inspection.
