    Stellar Home Inspection and Customer Service!

    Vahn Balabanian, provided my wife and I the confidence in choosing the right home for us. His inspection report is probably the most thorough and well written reports out there. He takes his time to fully explain certain aspects of the inspection and he does it in a friendly manner. I would highly recommend Vanh and Solex Group to my family, friends and colleagues.

    Home Inspection

    Solex Group was professional, easy to communicate with and very thorough. Making an appointment was really easy (booking online) and Vahn called us right away to confirm the information. Great customer service from the start! The home inspection was and extensive. The report gives us detailed information about everything so we are able to understand it. Would definitely recommend.

    Buyers Home Inspection

    This is the 2nd time I called Vahn for a home inspection since I trusted him and knew his quality is very reliable. He takes the time to explain things and does a thorough and excellent job on inspections. His final report is exactly what I needed to understand the home - every time I need info for home insurance or anything else, I'm thankful for that detailed report!! I Highly recommend his services.

    Home Inspection

    My girlfriend and I are first time buyers, and I can truly say it was a blessing to have Vahn as our home inspector. I never thought we would learn as much as we did during our time with Vahn. He was patient, and as we followed him around the house he took his time to clearly explain the questions we asked. To no fault of his, he spent longer than expected, never rushed or changed the pace of his inspection and in the end didn’t charge us a dime for the overtime. We got the report the next day and it was unbelievably thorough, detailed and yet easy to understand. I can wholeheartedly say, I have no complaints or potential improvements for his services. I am sincerely happy with the level of professionalism he displayed. I will recommend Vahn to my network, and will make sure to go to him in the future when needed.

    Home Inspection

    This was my first ever experience with a Home Inspector. I was pleasantly surprised to see how professional, thorough, patient and detailed he was. He clearly explained what he was doing at each stage of the inspection and gave me more information about my house than I could ever have imagined; including explaining why and how builders do some of the the things that they do. This insight was a real eye opener for me and I'll take it to heart the next time I get involved in real estate. I have already acted upon some of the valuable advice he gave me. Vahn's total service and package is most certainly worth much more than what he charges. You always get what you pay for and this is certainly a positive experience. I certainly would not hesitate to recommend Vahn to anybody I know looking for such services and I will certainly work with him again on my next property project. Great work and keep it up!

    Vahn

    Vahn is one of the most impressive professionals I have met in my home buying experiences. His knowledge, attention to detail, service oriented attitude and friendliness helps make the home buying experience better. We have had Vahn look at a number of properties for us now and he is the ONLY inspector we will use moving forward. He has earned our trust and respect. DO NOT let any agent or anyone else pressure you on who to go to for home inspections - you have the choice, and as far as I am concerned Vahn is your best choice.

    Home Inspection

    What you expect from a home inspection vs. what you receive? Expectation: I seriously thought that home inspection was all about the inspector checking a few different things inside a house and generate a report at the end of everything for the client and be done. Reality: Solex group and vahn (the home inspector in my case) specifically is a synonym for exceeding expectations. I was there at the property with him when he was inspecting my house and he went over all minute details with me. The report that he wrote in the end was very comprehensive and thorough and gave directions in terms of what is working with the house and what needs to be fixed in the short-term, long term etc. We found great value in his service and it was more sort of an enlightening session for me given my low levels of understanding the various nuances when it comes to buying a house. Vahn was very knowledgeable and his ability to explain this to someone who has no knowledge about houses is worth mentioning. More importantly, he gave us an unbiased view of the house and was clearly not looking out for my best interests. Vahn's job was not over after handing over the report to us. He continued to answer our questions two months after the inspection date. This is customer service at its best. I don't think anyone will patiently answer your questions after they've submitted their reports as vahn does. I would highly recommend Solex Group to all my friends and family if they ever needed to do a home inspection prior to buying a property.

    Insulation Missing

    We had asked Vahn to come by and take a look at a window we had just replaced since the old one was 30 years old and needed replacing. After we got the new window installed, we still felt the room was cold and didn't know if it was a faulty window. We had spoken to Vahn and he brought his thermal imaging camera with him which detects heat and lack of. He saw that it wasn't the window which was the issue, it was the insulation in the attic right above the window which was missing! It was very informative and insightful to have a professional like Vahn evaluate and assess the situation and give us an honest and trustworthy report. Thank you Vahn and God bless you.

    Thanks for posting a review on your specialty inspection. I sometimes get inquiries from homeowner's who have a single or specific concern. An uncomfortable (cold) room in a house is actually a common issue. Often, there are various contributing factors. But I perform various general checks to give you a priority guideline as to what can be done to improve comfort. Some recommendations may be cost prohibitive, while others can be done at relatively low cost. Glad I could help!

    Home inspection

    We purchased our house without a home inspection, lived in it for a while to identify any issues that came up in day to day life, then we called Vahn at Solex to do an inspection to make sure we were not missing anything more serious. Vahn spent a lot of time with us as he went through the house, and performed a more detailed inspection than I have seen others do in the past. I would highly recommend paying the slight extra fee for the IR camera work – this was very informative (found areas of missing insulation) and reassuring (didn’t find any areas with moisture – also confirmed by a moisture meter). His report was also very detailed, with lots of pictures and diagrams. I would highly recommend Vahn and Solex.

    Home Inspection

    Vahn did an amazing job with our home inspection. He was very clear up front with the limitations of visual inspections, but also very thorough with everything he could review visually. He had the report to us that same night, and it was very detailed. I highly recommend the infrared scanning camera; it was raining that day and that camera would have detected any moisture infiltration, so we were very happy to find out there was none. Vahn also entered all our appliances into recall check so we could see if we need to send anything for recall/repair before we move in. We are very happy with Vahn's service!
