    Clogged drain in bathroom

    I called Mr Rooter for a clogged drain. A service professional came out that same day. Jeremy La Salle did the work and he was EXCELLENT, very professional and knowledgeable. Jeremy explained all my options, including looking at plumbing in the rest of the house and he was very patient with my questions. He unplugged the drain efficiently and cleaned the mess up after he was done. He was very polite and wore "slippers" while in the house so as not to make a mess. GREAT service and although a bit expensive I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND Mr Rooter!!!

    Hot water tap running continuously

    I contacted Mr Rooter by e-mail and they responded quickly. The service man, David Moulton, arrived during the assigned time the next morning. He was courteous, knowledgeable, explained everything in detail, found my problem, and corrected it! He was not rushed and took all the time I needed to understand. He then proceeded to do a free plumbing check of the whole house for me. Very impressed!

    Replace 3/4" mix valve

    No hot water one day last week then again last couple of days. Rental tank service guy said the mix valve was probably clogged/corroded and needed to be replaced and recommended a plumber do the job. I called Mr Rooter and within an hour and a half Guy arrived. He was very courteous and explained what had to be done, saying there probably wouldn't need to be sawdering but if so then it would be more than he quoted. He didn't need to and he asked me if i was satisfied with the current temp. He turned it up a bit and the job was done. Perfect. He then did a quick review of all the plumbing explaining things as he went. I have a leaking fill valve that I cleaned out a week ago and it is starting to leak again. Guy took a look and suggested what needed to be changed and tips on how to proceed. The call was a bit more than i was expecting to pay but I would not hesitate to use them again. Thanks Guy! 9*

    Service

    Polite Clean Very knowledgable Great work. Extremely satisfied with everything and would absolutely recommend Mr. Rooter to anyone. We 'handy man' had done some work in our house which ended up being more of a screw up. We got in contact with Mr. Rooter and everything was fixed and for every reasonable pricing. If you are someone who thinks you can do plumbing I guarantee you will be much happier going with Mr.Rooter

    Water main replacement

    We recently had to have our 100 year old water main replaced. Mr. Rooter Ottawa managed the project and did the plumbing, and they hired George Brown Excavating to excavate the trench from the city standpost to the house foundation. Initially we were quite concerned about the potential for damage to the roots of a large tree in our front yard, and to the landscaping which consists of a retaining wall built with large stones (too large to move by hand). We needn't have worried. Plumbers Ryan and Graham were efficient, clean and courteous and left our basement floor looking almost like new. Backhoe operator Dave was very skilled at his job and he and his assistant Alex did minimal disruption to our landscaping and even replaced the stones afterwards, even though this was not covered in the contract. They also left the street in front of the house cleaner than when they arrived. Mr. Rooter General Manager Peter McGrath managed the project and did a great job of keeping us informed of the workplan every step of the way. We would highly recommend both Mr Rooter Ottawa and George Brown Excavating.

    Toilet replacement

    Guy overcame a frustrating problem to successfully install a new toilet. I have used the services of Mr. Rooter before and they continue to impress with their attention to detail and competitive pricing.

    Main drain in basement backed up

    Last Saturday, my basement drain had backed up after doing a load of laundry. Called Mr. Rooter. Guy Gratton arrived and ran a camera down the main drain. A massive blockage of tree roots in my drain. Guy was amazing. He tried all the typical fixes to the problem, but the massive root ball gave him an unbelievable fight. He worked like a dog for 5 hours using some serious strategy to dislodge this thing. Despite the late hour, he was determined to ensure that my drain was completely clear before he left at 11pm. He is a role model for his company. I will definitely call Mr. Rooter for any of my future plumbing needs, based on this single experience. Thank you Guy!

    Repair leaky kitchen sink drain

    Marc and Steve came at the scheduled time. Our sink is a two sink type and was installed about 27 years ago. They changed all the metal for PVC, and replaced the 2 baskets. The plumbing looks a lot neater than before. They explained everthing, answered all our questions. They were very professional and they did a great job. They laid a tarp down to protect our floor and the wore boot covers. The price was fair for the work done. I highly recommend this company.

    Toilet problem / replacement

    I had "gremlins" in the ensuite toilet: it would flush by itself at any moment of the day. Mr. David M. showed up at the announced time, checked the toilet and offered to repair or replace it. I decided to replace the unit, since it was old. Mr M. went to get the appropriate toilet, removed the old one. He had a very pleasant behaviour, offered good advice, did a very clean job and took all the garbage with him.

    Wedding Ring Retrieval

    I accidentally flushed my friend's wedding ring and band down a toilet at work and had some slim hopes. After seeing that our pipes went about 20 feet before hitting the building's main sewage pipe I thought there was a chance. Mr. Dave M. came in and took a camera snake into the pipes and took a look around for me. He found the wedding band ! It wasn't everything but it does help me out enough that I have some good news for my friend. Thanks for all the help Dave!
