    Thermostat Issues

    Phil was very professional and helpful with the issue I had called in about for my thermostat being shutdown. He went above and beyond today with his customer services! Very pleasant and friendly! He is welcome back anytime and everytime! Amazing employee! Great hire reliance !!

    New Furnace purchase Quote

    Great service, was able to book an appointment next day for a quote on a new furnace. Cyrus the Home comfort advisor, was able to explain our requirements and was able to provide me with the best quote. Have been a customer of Reliance home comfort for years and highly recommend.

    Bruce called in advance to let me know he was on his way and quickly fixed our water heater.

    Friendly individual service, pricey overall renting fees

    Hans was super friendly and clear when fixing out furnace - it had stopped working in the middle of winter. Overall his service was great! In general though, I find Reliance has some pretty high fees for renting their equipment, and it was hard to get through to book an appointment. But good experience when we got through.

    Replaced Fan Motor

    Tom the technician was very polite and informative. I required a fan motor and he called around and found the part. He then picked up the part and came back to repair it. Tom took the time ot make thr required phone calls to locate the part for the hot water tank. Tom was very clean and friendly. Great job Tom

    Plumbing

    Very pleasant and helpful guy with good knowledge of his job. Reliance never disappoints me. They are quick to send a technician whenever I need repairs in my house.

    Plumbing Service

    Cody quickly diagnosed our plumbing issue. He did not have the part in stock in his truck but, was able to go to the Supply Wearhouse and get the part. It did not take much time to get the part and then fix it. He was nice enough to replace another part of ours that was in rough shape as well. He did a great job!

    Bad service

    This reliance company is the worse service i ever had. They couldn’t do the job and i decided to change company’s. So they decided to charge me 2 years of service and sent me to collections. Now my credit is ruin because of them. Find other company, they will do better than reliance.

    Misguiding the customer under fine print

    Don't believe what Reliance says because at the end they are going to throw the contact at your face telling all the fine prints you missed. Spend money, hire a good lawyer and then you can expect to fairly deal with these people else don't.

    Extremely disorganized and bad customer service

    I do not recommend this company at all. It has been a complete nightmare being with them for the last 12 years. When I bought my townhome, Reliance had already installed a water heater/air handler and A/C. Throughout my years, I had to do a service call every spring and every winter because the equipment always had issues. When I first moved in, my water tank failed and leaked everywhere. I had called Customer Service and no one could help me, even though it was an emergency. Then to get my water tank changed and to get hot water back in the home (it was cool fall weather) took me over five days. The crew who showed up said oh we don't have the part and they delayed. Then they tried to pressure me to take more time off work (even though I had taken the day off to accommodate them and then they didn't even have the parts!) but because I started a new job, I couldn't. The serviceman was annoyed and told me he can't come in the evenings because he has nights school! He was upset that he had to return in the evening, and when they changed my water tank, they didn't reinstall the fire alarm, they created damage to my walls when carrying it out, and they left a mess everywhere! I called Reliance furious, and they didn't even credit me or do anything. From this point onwards, I no longer received hot water when the heat was on, and they said it was due to the mixing valve and it's my responsibility (although that was never an issue before!). On another occasion, I stayed home from work to have my unit serviced and the service person did not even show up! After ten years I finally cancelled the service. I went to another company, who even returned the equipment to Reliance. However, since then Reliance has continued to charge me for a service that I have not been receiving. They can't even locate proof that the items have been returned, and the emails they ask me to submit the tracking saying the items have been returned keep bouncing back. I've made numerous phone calls and finally now, four months later I'm having my bank do a stop payment. Reliance can take me to collections, and to court. I have proof they should not charge me and I'm reporting them to the better business bureau and perhaps taking my story public. This is just terrible!
