    Lost a days pay account no show

    I lost $250 in pay as I took the day off work as I had an appointment to have my hot water tank replace. After several call during the day advising the appointment time was being pushed back I was told it was too late in the day and the service man was going home for the day So I decided to install a privately owned tank. So Relience would not pick their old tank AND they wanted to know who was removing my old tank - wanted the technician certification ( of the person installing the new private tank ) Kind of none of their business where I brought my replacement tank and who installed it The tech installing the new tank told me Reliance after 15 years of renting their tank to would be claiming the Tank Manufacture warranty on my old tank. Well now I don’t pay them rent and I GET TO CLAIM WARRANTY ON MY TANK IF NEEDED Wish I had known this 15 years ago in stead of thinking I had the security of renting At the end of the day I returned their tank and have never looked back Recently they came up with a conditional $500 guarantee if the service man does not show up ... WONDER WHY THEY HAD TO COME UP WITH THIS

    Hot water heater

    I would like to thank the gentleman (Glen I believe) for excellent service and leaving no mess behind. A spare hot water tank was on hand and installed within an hour. I would definitely recommend this company in the future.

    Service my hot water tank problem.

    I am very happy that the technition knew right away what my problem was with my water heater and fixed it in a few minutes and he also knowledge me in the future if this problem were to accure what I look for .     A/C

    Reliance home advisor completed the work order on a Saturday - wasn’t properly completed, installers could not complete job on the scheduled Tuesday . I spoke with the home advisor twice who was suppose to follow up with me the same day - never heard back. Installers never came back the following day on Wednesday, again I tried to contact the home advisor who has not contacted me back with any follow up. Very disappointed, 9 months pregnant with a two year old in a 3 level town house at 85 degrees. Also The day of the original installation, two A/C units were also delivered as if no one knew what was going on. Poor service and communication. At this point I do not recommend.

    Ductless AC

    Do NOT use this company. They have terrible products, and terrible customer service. They sold me a ductless air conditioner that has not worked from day 1. They refuse to replace it, and stopped answering any emails or calls once they had their money. Beware ! Spend your money elsewhere.

    Hot water repair

    This morning I had a technician come to fix my hot water. Saleem was polite, listened to the problem and worked quickly. Also he educated me on what the problem was as well as a few other things to watch for. I highly recommend Reliance, they send great technicians that know what they are doing!

    What happened to the service?

    We got our brand new ac unit in the second week of July 2018 - we went with the higher priced company because we felt we would be better taken care of down the road. The service last year was amazing - from the sales manager to the guys doing the hard labour everything was fantastic! You didn’t even know they were in our basement all day after they left! Forwarding not even a year we are very disappointed! Our ac is not working so we put in a call about 5 days ago and had to wait 3 days (totally understandable as this time of the year is busy for the company) the employee came looked at It (pipes were frozen) he worked on defrosting some and told us he would see that somebody else is coming in the afternoon! Mid afternoon we called reliance to see what is going on - they had no idea about another service appointment for us but that something was scheduled 2 days down the road (what we did not know about) so here we are - 2 days later - service people just left with telling us that there is a possible leak and they have to reschedule for another 2 days to fix it unfortunately we are not around during that time so it’s rescheduled for 3 days down the road! We are extremely disappointed with reliance home comfort and at this point we will not recommend it at all! We spent a lot of money on this unit and after not even a year we are currently without ac!

    Water Sensor

    Gurmeet and Jasmit did a great job in finding our water sensor issue right away. Very happy with their service. They were in and out in very little time and we had our hot water service back up in no time.

    Tear out and replacement of 24 year old furnace and a/c

    Bill and Charles did a great job, they were polite, friendly, and professional. They were respectful of my home and great with my friendly dog and talkative 5 year old. They cleaned up after themselves and everything is working great! Thank you

    The example of excellent service

    Hello my technicians name was Shane he was excellent, professional, and an expert at the job. He explained everything to me and was friendly the entire time. he got the job done swiftly and made no mess at all!!! I have had other technicians come before from other companies and they leave a huge mess that I have to clean after but Shane made sure to leave the site as clean as it was when he walked in. 5 stars for sure Reliance is lucky to him.
