    Multiple problems with system and installation

    In February of 2016 we had to replace our 13 year old furnace. I contacted reliance as we had been previously happy with Holmes Heating 4 Hour Heating and Air Conditioning needs. Suffice to say that I've had problems with the subcontractor who initially installed system, the thermostat wiring was done incorrectly and cause my air conditioning to fail and as of today now my furnace is leaking all over the basement. Although Trevor, our sales rep has been phenomenal, the quality of the product and its subsequent Performance Plus the installation errors have caused me to have a very sour taste about Reliance or recommending them.

    No response or call back

    Tried contacting this place to arrange a visit to have my furnace looked at. No response on the number listed so I went to the online booking to arrange for someone to contact me back. I never heard from anyone all day and not even an email acknowledgement that a request for a appointment was received. I see customer service is not a strong suit for this company. Good thing this was not an emergency.

    New Furnace Installation

    We were very Happy with our installation experts. The Team was Rob and Johnny.Very knowledgeable with their Trade. Cleaned Everything up nice too. My Wife and I Would Recommend these two guys for All your heating and air conditioning needs. Thanks So Much for a Job Well Done !!!!

    Furnace and air con

    Had a wonderful experience from Matt the furnace repair man very in depth explanations and easy to understand then he set me up with Jeff hayhoe who explained everything in detail and options for repairing or getting a new furnace and a.c. since our home is 24 years young we went with the new ,and are very happy thank you Matt and Jeff would definitely recommend reliance

    New furnace and ac

    Dave was very helpful and knowledgeable in helping us make a decision on what furnace to buy, also the service techs were very clean and organized and did a great job inside and outside.

    Incorrectly diagnosed a small issue with our furnace and tried to sell us a new furnace and air conditioner

    During a cold spell, our furnace stopped working. We called Reliance and the technician who came to our home incorrectly diagnosed the problem. The Reliance technician told us our "logic board" and thermostat needed to be replaced and that the approximate cost was $1300. He strongly encouraged us to chat with their "Advisor" (aka sales guy) about purchasing or renting a new furnace. The technician spent a lot of time educating us about the risks of carbon monoxide poisoning even though our furnace had no such issues. Our house has numerous carbon monoxide detectors and never has one gone off. In our opinion, it felt like a lot of "fear mongering" to artificially build his case for selling us a new furnace. We met with the Reliance Advisor and reviewed options for purchasing a new furnace. A strong push was made to also sell us an air conditioner (despite our air conditioner working perfectly!). After exploring all of the options, we decided to get a second opinion from another HVAC professional *not* affiliate with Reliance. Within 30 minutes, our true HVAC professional correctly diagnosed the issue as a faulty Pressure Switch (not the Logic Board, as Reliance stated). The total cost of our repair for the pressure switch and thermostat was a few hundred dollars (instead of $1300+) - and we were back up and running in a matter of hours! Our independent HVAC professional was absolutely disgusted and shocked that Reliance told us the Logic Board needed to be replaced (an expensive job) and stated that he did not understand how any competent professional could have possibly misdiagnosed this issue: in his opinion, Reliance must have knowingly fed us a line of crap to sell us a new furnace. Completely disgusted by our experience dealing with Reliance.

    Home Comfort the Right Way

    The service, explanation and personalized experience we received from Dan was fantastic! If he's the reflection of Reliance, than this is a company we will work with for all our home comfort needs going forward! My wife and I are from the East Coast of Canada and he provided us with top notch customer service, care and the appropriate amount of detail. Dan may not be from the East Coast but he definitely has the East Coast charm!

    Water heater repair

    My service technician, Eric S was outstanding . He was Super efficient and extremely polite. He explained things throughly .What a great experience! I’ll make sure to call and ask for Eric if I ever need additional service.

    humidifier on furnace

    the repairman Jason came in and fixed the issue within minutes he was very knowledgeable and gave advice to prevent future issues we felt like he had taken good care of us
