    Mainline Replacement to House

    Our house had a lead main waterline and we wanted to get that replaced with copper. We asked several companies for quotes and were most impressed with Anta Plumbing. The representative who came to our place - Steve - explained how the job would work and answered all my questions. On the day we did the line replacement Igor and Mariuzh were polite and professional. They got the job done quickly, minimized the disruption to our house and cleaned everything up afterwards. We were very impressed with Anta plumbing and recommend them for similar jobs.

    Pipes relocation and stack replacement

    Another great job by Anta. Patrick spent two days replacing an ancient cast-iron sewer stack and relocating two radiator pipes. The relocation of the pipes posed some difficulty due to the tight kitchen layout, and the pipes were originally moved close to but not quite where we'd needed them. After a discussion with Patrick and a few calls to the office, Anta agreed to redo the pipe relocation at no charge, which we very much appreciated. That took an additional few hours. Patrick was extremely easy to work with, very honest, calm, pleasant and tidy. He even did a little pipe patching job at no extra charge. Before leaving, he wanted to make sure we were 100% happy with his work, which we were. Thanks!

    Water service upgrade

    City of Toronto required me to install a water meter, but the meter guy said he can't install a meter because we have a galvanized service line. So we have to upgrade our service line to copper. Might as well get 3/4" installed and to the water heater while we're at it. Anta gave a reasonable quote and got the job done without having to dig up the interlocking pavers. The Anta crew got both me and my neighbour done in the same day. Great job, would heartily recommend them.

    Basement Lowering and Waterproofing

    Strongly recommend them to everybody who values honest work and reasonable pricing! I used Anta Plumbing service a year ago and didn't hesitate to choose them again when we decided to lower and waterproof our basement. We've got the job done meeting project schedule and estimate cost. Tony explained us our options so we have chosen the most suitable. The crew arrived always in time, everybody was polite and hardworking. They cleaned up afterwards. We are truly satisfied with their job and really appreciate Anta Plumbing's work ethics. Worth every penny!

    Back Water Valve Installation

    You are the best, guys! Recently I had Water Supply Line project done by Anta Plumbing crew. I chose Anta Plumbing as they were not trying to up-sell and came in the most affordable.work for me. They are true professionals - tidy, efficient and friendly. I was explained pros and cons of each option.The job came in on time and on budget. Strongly recommend them to everybody.

    Drain pipe and bathroom repair

    We called ANTA after we discovered that 1. the secondary bathroom downstairs in our new home was a really bad DIY addition and 2. the main drain pipe going into the city sewage was collapsing. Steve and his boys came in and had to dig outside, pulling out a 5ft section of hedge to replace the damaged section of drain pipe, and dig into concrete in order to fix the homemade pipe in our bathroom. They managed to replace the bathroom pipe, breaking only about 4 tiles, and the outside hole was refilled with the same dirt they had dug out, having protected the surrounding lawn with tarps. Steve was straight up with us about the reality of the job, and we were pleased with the cost, having had other quotes about $3000 more that what it ended up being. Igor and his partner were quick, respectful, and cleaned up the worksites within the given timeframe. Many thanks to all at ANTA for a great job and for kindly answering all our questions and concerns!

    Replaced all Underground Drains

    Recently I discovered that the main drains under my house were draining really slow…so slow that they would sometimes backup a little through my floor drain in the laundry room. Turns out the huge tree on my front lawn had broken into the underground drain with it’s roots and clogged up the pipe in 4 different places…so I needed all my underground drains fixed. I discovered Anta plumbing online and they were great. Igor and Mariusz were a great team that replaced all my underground drains with minimal disruption to the house, they were respectful of the areas of the house that were to remain clean and protected them from damage. They guys were friendly and answered all my many questions…they actually ran into a few small issues once the floor was opened but they took care of everything as part of the deal. Having your drains surprise you is not fun…but these guys fixed everything in 2 days and now my underground drainage system is guaranteed for 25 years! I got great service and pricing from Anta and I don’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone needing plumbing work. There are more popular names out there in plumbing but my advice is don’t just trust a commercial or a name…it could be very different once those guys get you into a deal. I am glad I did my homework online and found good guys to work on my house.

    Toilet installation

    After seeing their website, I called them up. They were advertising a promotion on a new toilet,delivery and installation. They were very professional and I was able to book an appointment for the next day. Tomme was the plumber who did the work and he did an awesome job! I was real happy with the work, and no mess to clean up after. I would definitely recommend them!

    Clogged basement drain

    I called AnTa plumbing because we had a flood in our basement. I had met Steve at City Hall when I was picking up building plans and this was before the flood. Steve came over right away and did me a huge favour. He had to break the concrete to open the basement check valve and then he unclogged it completely. It was just as well because a few nights later another big storm hit us and our basement, which had just dried out, would have flooded again. He gave me an estimate to fix it long-term by adding a catch basin. Although it isn't in our budget to spend $1,000s on the solution he recommended, he never charged for the short-term solution to come and unclog the drain. He is a great guy and we would recommend him to anyone. Even my teenaged kids commented that he was SO nice!

    Waterproof and drains

    I had the misfortune of having a sewer backup. I called Anta and they came out that day. I thought it could just be snaked out but it seemed my problem was bigger than just a blockage- the pipe had collapsed. So what I thought would take a couple of hundred dollars turned into many thousands. Steve was very patience with me – he took the time to explain the whys and wherefores- I decided to have the basement waterproofed at the same time. I almost fell off my chair when told the cost but I knew the house had water issues & it had to be done. Steve encouraged me to call with any questions or issues I may have and he and Tania kept me informed every step of the way. The guys who came to do the work were amazing! They all worked really hard for more than a week – I only saw them taking short 10 min breaks and then were back at it. They covered the stairs and the grass, trying to keep the mess to a minimum. The Town of Oakville allows subsidies for some of the work and an inspector came by to check. He has been in the plumbing business for more than 35 years and he told me that the work that was being done was being done the right way- No cutting of corners - He was very impressed with the company. I was truly awed when the owner of the company (in dress pants & dress shirt) came to supervise his men and rolled up his sleeves and started digging alongside of the men digging out the foundation- he was here most of the day covered in sweat and working hard. This speaks volumes about Tony’s work ethics and about the company. I wanted to spend $30,000.00 on a new kitchen but what’s the point if I have foundation problems? I can live without pretty for a while longer. The warranty is for 25 years so over time is it an investment of $1200 a year. The peace of mind is worth it. Professional, courteous and hardworking I would highly recommend Anta. A job well done! To Steve, Tania, Tony and to all the guys -Thank you!
