Chris was pleasant, informed and did what looks to be a very good job ridding the attic crawl space of squirrels, and protecting under the back porch from its annual skunk family. But it’s only early March so still need to see what happens as the weather warms. Pricing was not cheap, but quite fair. Chris and son also cut down and removed debris for part of a giant for tree to make roof access harder for critters. Communication was quite good/quick at the start, less so afterward. So I wasn’t sure when each stage was completed and had to chase this (it’s a rental property so not there daily). Also never did get the promised roof pics. But in the end, seems to have worked out rather well. My two suggestions: 1) change your email user name to something meaningful and easily found e.g. in Junk (NOT “work email”) and 2) install a modern, functional website so new clients can learn more about your services and approach. Thanks for your help!

I've dealt with Chris, and now his son Ricky, for over 15 years. In my latest adventure, we had some frightened tenants, who couldn't sleep due to a crying squirrel that had found its way in to the roof. Chris called me back immediately - even though it had been many many years since our previous problem (probably because A1 handled it properly at the time) both he and his son remembered the property. They moved their schedule, came "same day" and within an hour had resolved the problem. Very knowledgeable, friendly, and highly competent. Strongly recommend.

A racoon made my attic its home for about a week. After gathering information, and obtaining several quotes, it was obvious Chris was a cut above the rest. He installed a one way door, and the racoon was out within twelve hours. He even went above and beyond by fencing the attic entryway in my garage to ensure we never get these little impromptu guests again. I highly recommend him, and I'm thankful for a job well done.

I had a time-sensitive issue around Christmas time: squirrels settled under roof solar panels and could be heard digging ferociously into the shingles for several days. Despite the holiday season, the weather, and fairly sizeable project the team solved the issue within a week from first conversation. From estimate to completion the crew kept me updated and answered all of my questions. The final results of the work are simply outstanding - from quality and appearance perspective. A father and son team came and found where the raccoon was entering my attic. They installed a one-way door there so that the raccoon could exit the attic but not get back in. The guys came back a little more than a week later and removed the one-way door and sealed off all vent covers on the roof so that raccoons can not get back in. It's been over a month now and we are still raccoon-free. I'm a happy customer.

Chris and Ricky are the two most amazing contractors you can ever deal with. They are the consummate professionals that get the job done. While I was quoted from a company that gives free estimates and have drones and shiny vans to go with it, these guys did the best job ever while quoting me less than one-third of the quote from the other company. they came the day after I removed the baby raccoons from my attic, put a one-way door in the hole where they entered, and after a week, came and installed a permanent metal sheet under my roof. Raccoon family is gone, my family is happy, and I hope the next customer will be as happy as us. I'm confident enough to recommend them to anyone that needs them. Thank you, Chris and Ricky!

Have been using A1 on an annual retainer program since having a (single) rat problem in November 2021. They have been prompt and thorough in their resolution of the initial issue (we got the rat in a trap!) and with their follow-up maintenance. Specific technicians are a little hit and miss. For instance, they use peanut butter to bait snap traps; a technician used one of my table spoons to scoop peanut butter and apply it to the trap and then used that same spoon to dip into the jar again. So my humans are obviously never eating from that jar of PB again! Brian, however, was exceptional. He went the extra mile, looking for pest evidence and placing bait stations in places which previous techs had overlooked. Now we feel confident that any potential issues are mitigated! Not cheap, but when a tech like Brian shows up, you feel the value is there.

My brother had a problem with an animal destroying his house. A friend of his recommended A1 Animal Removal to him. He was very pleased with the results and price. I thought I would protect my house from this type of damage as my aunt had her attic completely destroyed many years ago, so I called A1 and decided to have some vent cages installed. They are an honest company. They did what I wanted at a great price. It's nice to see in this day and age that there are still a few honest people around. I highly recommend them.
