We just purchased a home that was built in 1890. We discovered that the basement was full of asbestos and we needed to get it removed. GT Abatement was recommended to us. David and Gabriel are incredibly knowledgeable, very respectful, sincere and honest. They took time to explain what the process was and their quote was reasonable for the amount of removal there was. Most importantly I felt that asbestos removal companies can take advantage of the fear associated with asbestos in homes. GT Abatement is not this company. They are very honest, very careful when handling and by the book when disposing of the product. Look no further when searching for a great removal company - you will not regret your decision. The team at GT Abatement were great to work with. From initial inspection to performing of work top notch service. Friendly and knowledgeable, they took the time to do the job right and to make sure I understood the process. Work was done when they said it would and Ali and crew left my house clean. Would recommend to all those unfortunate enough to have asbestos abatement needs.

Possible asbestos? Do not panic. I found what appeared to be asbestos around my vents in my 1960s built house. Turns out it was commonly used asbestos from its era. I called David and he provided scientific information about asbestos that was priceless to my vent situation. I’ve never met David in person (only on the phone at the time of this review) but his professionalism and educated knowledge about asbestos was reassuring to my situation. We 100% recommend calling GT to obtain a full understanding of your situation and possible solutions.

Very happy with the job done by Amosite and their crew. We had old pipes covered in asbestos, and a popcorn looking ceiling that they tested and was actually asbestos free. Highly recommended.

I had a concern about asbestos in floor tiles I discovered just before my kitchen reno. I read the reviews on here and decided to ask for help having read about the prompt reply. David put our minds at ease. We just bought a mid-century home that needs a full renovation and showed many signs of potentially having asbestos. Amosite came and did a full inspection of the house and took samples of all the potential areas. Luckily, the areas that contained asbestos were few and easy to remove. David's team came in and did a fast, efficient and safe job removing a fire shield above our furnace that was disintegrating as well as removing tiles in a couple areas. Very happy to not have to worry now

I recently bought an old Victorian townhome and wanted to ensure there was no asbestos before starting to work on the house. The person who came was polite and very thorough. He gave me a couple options for sampling and analysis. Testing happened quickly and I got the results later that day. I would recommend using this company of you have any concerns asbestos.
