I received great service from Applewood and would highly recommend them. A problem arose with my furnace the day before I was supposed to leave the country for three weeks and I needed it repaired immediately. I called a few different companies and Applewood’s prices were very competitive. They were able to send someone out that day. He was friendly, professional, punctual and got the job done quickly.

Our furnace died right as the temperature dropped this year. It was a stressful situation but when the Applewood representative came to our house he put our minds at ease. He explained our options very well and helped us figure out what worked best with our home and our lifestyle. We couldn't believe how affordable it was. The new furnace is now installed and working quite well. We are very appreciative for their quick and reliable service. I was so relieved that it turned out costing less than we thought it would. Their follow up to make sure everything was working correctly was a welcome surprise. We look forward to a toasty Christmas.

Last week when I decided to set up a gas furnace in my home, I called Applewood for an in person appointment. I was amazed to experience their customer-centric approach coupled with market-winning price schemes. The technicians knew in and out of the products and I was able to pick and choose the exact right product for my home. I am very satisfied with the services they have provided. They came on time and did a very good job in fixing my furnace. Didn't have to call them back again to redo the work. Two thumbs up!

during july's heatwave i called applewood to diagnose our units' poor cooling capacity. they came several days later, however the serviceman disconnected something and afterwards the unit did not cool at all. several calls were made to have them correct their mess, but i was told to pay in advance and to wait at least 5 days! it was impossible to speak with anyone in authority apart from the telephone operator. several messages left for the service manager were unreturned. i had to hire another company to fix applewood's mess and restore service. to add insult to injury, applewood sent a bill. once again it is impossible to speak with anyone senior to discuss the bill and the situation, and voicemail messages to service managers go unreturned. STAY FAR AWAY FROM APPLEWOOD!!!!

The 24 hour emergency service isn't 24 hours. anyone else experience this? we just had our unit fixed last week (a leaking coil) and the same issue is happening 1 week later - the thermostat isn't dropping below 24C. The service department is so hard to get a hold of. Any advice???

Our AC broke down during the hottest days ever. We called in had someone come in for 15 mins and leave. Didn't hear from anyone in days. When we called in to check up on the service, they treated us terrible, with attitude, put us on hold to attend other business, and then hung up on us. The issue went unresolved until I had to personally walk in to their office and complain. The part hadn't even been shipped after a week, and only until I stepped unto their premisses did they address the issue. Terrible service, avoid at all costs.

appt for 8am - 12pm, no show. Receptionist Dana kept saying can't get a hold of the tech after over an hour later. Finally spoke to someone higher up, claimed to be here around 3 - 330. Called again at 340pm, Dana said would be another hr to hr and half. Holly, any of these staff know how to do their work? so many service calls, products must be sucked. Don't rent or buy from Applewood.

Our A/C wasn't blowing cool air and the house was 82 degrees with the air on full. We called the 24 hour emergency service number last night but nobody called us back. We called this morning and they said that we would get service in 7 days. What kind of service is this? We have only used the A/C for one season. The builder used Applewood to install all HVAC systems in all units. We also had an issue with the furnace within 2 months of owning it. It was freezing outside and it was going on 24 hours and the service desk lady told us to be patient "we aren't the only ones with a furnace problem." I would never recommend this company to anyone ever. They don't have enough staff employed to cover all their service issues and the people that they do have, are just plain RUDE.

Called Applewood to install a steam humidifier and was told these units would cost too much to operate and the fact that they needed to be cleaned on a regular basis. I was then recommended to get a simple flow through model, which I did and it's been working great. The installer answered all my questions and was in and out in under an hour. Great job.
