    New furnace

    Belyea has serviced our furnace for years and we have always been well satisfied. Recently our heat exchanger failed and we got quick, professional support and advice. The salesman was very knowledgable and answered all our questions. The furnace was installed within 2 days. The installers were polite, hard working and efficient. They finished the work in 5 hours. By 2:00 in the afternoon we had a new furnace up and running.

    No follow up

    Did a replacement of furnace, removal of asbestos, added some new rads, fixed some old ones, replaced all of the old piping with Pex. One of those jobs whose bill grew out of control as we found more stuff that needed being done. Two years later, two rads are still not working and Belyea doesnt have the time to check their work. Interactions were difficult at best. This is a business with a great reputation but I personally did not have a good experience. I think they like the big jobs and then ignore you after - unfortunately not an uncommon thing in Toronto.

In cases like this we are forced to wish a client well and send them on their way. Perhaps in his haste to write a misleading review, Robert forgot to mention that we were hired directly by a general contractor who has still not been paid for the balance of the work.

    HVAC service goes above and beyond

    We were very impressed with our service worker Dylan's commitment to not only fixing the BIG problem with our furnace, but optimizing everything include exterior piping...we weren't expecting him to go the extra mile to make sure our whole system worked well.

    Humidifier service

    Extremely happy with service. Put a call in & Ziahib was here within hour & 1/2. Fixed the problem. He was fabulous. Very knowledgeable & next time I would request him. Great company to deal with.

    Radiator repair

    They replaced a leaking radiator valve and pipe leading to basement. Work was quick. It was a few days ago and everything seems good so far.

    Older furnace repair

    I had an intermittent furnace failure on an older furnace in a rental bungalow. If at all possible, I did not want to replace the furnace as this will be done in 5 to 10 years when I eventually develop the property. Belyea has done work for me in the past and I have been very satisfied. I requested the same technician, Dylan, to come out and evaluate the problem. Dylan was able to diagnose the problem existed with the electric blower motor. It had simply gotten too old and was failing irregularly - a problem that would eventually lead to a complete failure. The age of the furnace could potentially make finding a replacement motor challenging. At my request, Dylan was able to compare and contrast the merits of the part replacement (if found) against a furnace replacement. Explaining my objectives, Belyea set out to find a replacement motor and managed to locate it the same day. The next day Dylan returned to install and everything works perfectly again. He was professional, efficient and cleaned up after he was done. For clarity, it is honest advice and an attempt to resolve problems that earns Belyea a 5 star rating. Far too many suppliers and contractors will simply try to up sell a customer or decline interest in the job. That approach to business earns loyalty. The others never get called again.

    Replacement of aging boiler and hot water heater with a combination on-demand boiler/heater.

    We chose to replace a boiler which was more than 25 years old before we were forced to so I called for some quotes. David Frost, a sales rep with Belyea Bros., was the most knowledgeable and helpful of the people we met from the different companies, and his knowledge was able to save us some money, and not just because his price was the lowest. In fact, his price was the lowest because he was able to see how best to manage the installation, so kudos to David. Marco and Paul, who did the installation were excellent. They answered my questions as they went about their work and managed to hide some of the venting work in a way which will make my own refinishing much faster and better. They took almost exactly the time we were led to expect, a little less actually, and my house is warm, my water hot, so I'm a happy customer!

    all systems 'GO' for our 2 'tankless' furnace systems

    3 cheers for Belyea Brothers. They did it! They assessed and fixed a 10-year old problem that had been considered 'unfixable' and left unattended by 2 other well-known Toronto-based companies. Owner David Graham was amazingly thorough... and a complete pleasure to deal with... as were the 2 technicians who completed the job - Marco and ??? ... forgive the middle-aged memory. They were a fabulous team. As a result, I've signed up for Belyea's yearly maintenance program and would advise the same to anyone. Thanks again folks.

    Furnace service

    Prompt service for furnace cleaning, expansion tank rebalancing and diagnosis of a safety problem (follow up yet to occur). Deo the technician was friendly, helpful and informative: he even called afterward to remind me (again) to adjust the thermostat!

    Furnace Maintenance

    Deo Ramsahoye was the HVAC technician that did my yearly maintenance on my furnace and hot water heater. He was very knowledgable and courteous. Showed me pictures of the various components in the boiler and re-programmed my thermostat for me so that I could experience some savings.
