    Ductless Air Conditioning unit

    We have recently had Belyea Bros install a Daikin Ductless air conditioner in our home. The preliminary sales visit from Jamieson Murray was excellent and professional. He was extremely knowledgeable and able to answer our many questions thoroughly. We live on Fleming Crescent, and even our neighbours were impressed with the timely and efficient installation of the new system. We would definitely recommend Jamieson and Belyea Bros for any products purchases or services!

    Water heater

    Paul and Marko showed up right on time, got to work, were friendly and very courteous, did a great job on the install, cleaned up everything, and managed to get the job done a bit earlier than predicted. All in all, happy with the install. Prior to that, very comfortable with the owner, David, who came out before and set it all up. Great experience and highly recommend.

    New boiler

    The installation of a new boiler several years ago was easy and the process thoroughly explained. The service men are always prepared to answer questions and are knowledgeable. Belyea Bros are our go to company.

    Replace hot water tank

    8 year old hot water tank installed by another company started leaking, Belyea Bros came in to assess and determined that a new tank would be required - they were back within 24 hours to install the new tank. Explained all the functions of the new tank and what they changed. Knowledgable, professional and thorough. Will continue to use Belyea Bros. for future service needs.

    Furnace repair

    $146 to come out and diagnose the problem. $381 plus taxes to order part (electrical relay) and install. Will not break down $381 into parts, labour, housecall. Insist repairs are "flat rate"...who refuses to break down repair charge into parts, labour, etc.? Try other repair companies.

    Thank you for your response. We charge $130 + hst diagnostic fee in order to assess any system. Once we have made a diagnosis we quote a flat rate charge for repairs which include the cost of the manufacturers factory part, shipping (in Mr Smith's case the part needed to come in from the US), installation and warranty. We always quote a client before proceeding with any repair so that there is complete awareness of our charge before any work takes place.

    Boiler repiping

    We contacted Belyea Bros. for a service call to address heating issues with our combination forced air and radiant in-floor heating provided by a Buderus boiler. Our house had been renovated about 7 years ago and the system never worked properly. David redesigned the piping configuration and reduced to the radiant floor heating to one zone to ensure the boiler was working efficiently to its specifications. During the job, the servicemen realized that there was problem with boiler and a part needed to be ordered from the USA. Upon further investigation it was determined that the part did not need to be replaced. The initial installation used the wrong type of screw. Replacing the screw with the correct type saved us $1200. Paul and Marco were on site for 10 hours the first day to complete the majority of the work. We now have consistent forced air heating and warm radiant floors in our basement and bathrooms - just in time for some -20 Celsius wind chill days coming up.

    Installation of Split-Pack Air Conditioner

    We recently used Belyea Bros to replace a split-pack air conditioner that was beyond its useful life. We found them to be very responsive, knowledgeable and professional. The work was completed promptly, and the technicians, Damian and Matthew, were very courteous and efficient. We have used Belyea before, and chose them this time because our experience has always been positive. We wouldn’t hesitate to use them again, or to recommend them to others.

    Boiler

    We had several other contractors come to our house but Dave and his team were so impressive with their knowledge and skill that it was an easy choice to hire them. They were extremely reliable, hardworking and very attentive even after the work was done. We would have no hesitation whatsoever in highly recommending them for your heating needs.     Install hot water heater

    Crew was friendly and efficient. Booties and drop sheets were used to minimize tracking dirt and debris over basement carpeting. Only wrinkle was that unit leaked a few hours after installation. Belyea sent out after-hours repair guy within an hour and half, and was able to fix the leak.

    Belyea Protection Plan

    I recently signed up to the Belyea heating Protection Plan for my 2yr old Viessmann boiler (222-F). The plan included a service that I was extremely pleased with. Their tech Jon C, was very professional and outlined each step of the maintenance that would be completed prior to starting. An added bonus, Jon gave me a visual walk through on some questions I had surrounding component maintenance within my boiler. To warp up the maintenance call, Jon provided and reviewed a detailed testing report on my unit's performance. Viessmann is the "Cadillac" of boilers and I was not sure I needed annual maintenance on such a new boiler. After seeing the extensive cleaning and testing……it was money well spent! Thanks again Belyea.
