    furnace/CAC and ductless AC installation

    Belyea Bros was recommended to us as a high quality, reliable installer when we had an independent HVAC consultation as part of a renovation project. I requested an in-home consultation online and received a call within an hour. Barry, the systems consultant who provided our quotation, listened to our concerns and provided us with the information we needed to make our decision. He also explained the rebates we were eligible for. The installation team was polite, neat and efficient. Work was completed on schedule and the system was explained to us. Barry followed up with a home visit after installation, as promised, to walk us through the system and make sure we were happy with the installation. I will be able to give a more complete evaluation of the system after a full cooling and heating season, but I have been completely satisfied with the consultation and installation by Belyea Bros. At each stage of the process, they have done exactly what they said they would do and have been responsive to our questions and concerns.

    Boiler and tankless hot water heater

    Our boiler broke down and then was "red tagged" late one night in January. We called Belyea Bros the next morning. They came to see us the same day, patiently showed us our options, and helped us weigh the pros and cons of each. They explained in clear plain language which products would be suitable for us and why. They arranged for a very quick installation to minimize the time we were without heat. Everybody arrived exactly on time on installation day. They stayed late to finish the job in one day and cleaned up carefully when they were done. To top it off, they phoned a couple of months later to follow-up, to see whether the new boiler met our expectations, and to get feedback on our transition to tankless hot water. Replacing a boiler is a major purchase, and doing it involuntarily in the middle of winter could have been very stressful. It wasn't. They listened carefully to our questions and concerns, and always answered clearly in layman's terms. From the first phone call, Belyea Bros made the whole experience a pleasure. A++.

    HVAC

    This was a rush job as our heater went kaput on a Friday on the coldest week of the winter. We had two contractors come out on the Friday to appraise the situation , assess and price out the replacement. Subsequently we remembered being recommended on Belyea some time ago and contacted them on the Saturday. David [last name removed--Ed] responded to our call and came in person within an hour; he passed on additional helpful advice and priced out a very competitive price for the installed unit . He also guaranteed that he would be able to obtain and install the furnace of our choice on the Monday which the other two contractors could not guarantee. The Belyea installers were at our front door early on the Monday morning as promised, and seemed to do a very thorough job including a good clear up of their debris and the old unit ; and also above and beyond the call of duty a good clean up inside of part of the ductwork . We were given the usual instruction on operating the system upon completion of work. David [last named removed-- Ed] called us later in the day to follow up and also visited us the following day to make sure that we were happy with and understood the operation of the unit etc. We have also had a follow up from the company ( a few weeks after the installation ) to make sure that we are pleased with the system. A satisfied customer.

    Install high efficiency comination boiler and rads

    With our 25 year-old boiler on its last legs, and the 2009-10 rebate program deadline fast approaching, we contacted 4 local suppliers of high efficiency boilers (after first doing lots of on-line research). Each of the suppliers responded quickly and provided estimates and recommendations. Belyea's rep Bruce, however, provided a great deal more information and offered to have the company's owner, David, come to review the potential installation. This he did and pointed out the benefit of installing the higher coast option of a combination boiler, one that would would provide heating as well as domestic hot water on demand, thus removing the 40-gallon hot water tank. At the same time, we asked for a quotation on extending radiators into our ground floor addition (heated by wasteful electric baseboard heaters). David returned to provide a very accurate measurement of the room's requirement and we agreed to install low slim-line rads - essentially getting "free Heat". The boiler we chose is a Baxi wall-hung unit - this gained us space in the basement and provided a very neat installation. The crew were prompt, efficient, courteous and clean. The main install was done in a day, with the extra rads installed a day later. We have now had a winter's worth of experience and I can say the system performs perfectly. I have already recommend Belyea to friends.

    High efficiency gas fired boiler installation, old building

    I was in the market for a residential high efficiency gas fired boiler and Belyea Brothers was one of 5 companies that I approached. I was not " over sold " by Belyea into purchasing equipment that was not nessasary or not appropriate. The contract price was competitive compared to the other contractors. Peter and his installation crew were efficient, excellent workmanship and left the site as if no one had been there. After the work was completed there was a follow up phone call from the Belyea office to ask if there were any questions or concerns. First class.

    installation and servicing of tankless boiler

    Beylea Brothers installed a tankless boiler in our house during an extensive renovation six years ago. Then last week it malfunctioned (late at night) and we were treated to their exceptional service. The problem took some work to resolve but they went all out and did it and, because we are insured with them, it was also very inexpensive! All to often service people do not get acknowledged but our recent experience has underlined why it is imperative to go with established smaller companies who really pay attention to their service side. Every repair person who has come to our house from their company has been exceptional. Also, as they return each year to clean the boiler, they remember our house and our specific issues. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

    Air Conditioning Installation

    When you own an old Toronto home, you're encountering many "firsts". I've never had to buy and have an air conditioner installed before so I had to do my due diligence and meet with at least 5 companies before making a selection. From first impression, Steve [last name removed--ED], from Belyea Brothers stood out from the other people I met. He took the time to walk me through my details and options. And didn't put pressure on a single brand, price, or system. He explained the pros and cons of each, and provided his own recommendation (thankfully, not the most expensive one). He also set, met and exceeded my expectations on the installation. The crew at Belyea Brothers was respectful, and actually worked while they were working. The process and install didn't disrupt any part of my regular day, which I appreciated. We've had the A/C installed for a couple of years now, without issue. From my point of view, they come highly recommended.

    tankless water heater

    Phillip was extremely informative when I initially called for information on tankless water heaters; David was timely, helpful and informative when he came in to see whether it was feasible in our house and Karl and his associate were timely, polite, efficient when they installed the unit and even helped me by loading the old water tank into my car so I could get rid of it. They came highly recommended by a friend and entirely lived up to their reputation.

    Replaced A/C, Furnace & Water Heater

    Bought a 30 year old house and decided to upgrade the HVAC and Water heater. The folks at Belyea Bros. Limited were extremely helpful in recommending the most efficient and cost effective products for my needs. They installed the new A/C unit, furnace and a Navien Instant water heater. The installers were very skilled and timely in the process. I'm very pleased with my new system(and the savings) and would highly recommend Belyea Bros. Limited

    installation of new boiler

    I had to get a new boiler as my old one had broken down and had to be repaired. From the initial telephone enquiry to the completion of the new high efficiency boiler, this company was excellent. I panicked when realizing the high cost of boilers but it was patiently explained to me why and how they work. At their suggestion, I had an environmental audit done so that I qualify for a government rebate in addition to the home renovation credit. The actual work was done including a new chimney liner and the installation work was top quality, efficient, capable, and working perfectly. Very highly recommend this company.
