    Purchased appliances and had them delivered and installed

    For the second time now, when moving into a new home I have gone to Caplan's to purchase all of the new appliances I needed (washer, dryer, fridge, oven, microwave, dishwasher). At the store, they helped me choose the best appliances to suit my needs, and to take advantage of the best price promotions on at that time. I just had everything delivered this past weekend and have nothing but good things to say. The delivery came on time, the deliverymen were quick and courteous (made sure to take off their shoes when coming in the house), and the appliances are great. Caplan's followed up to ensure I was happy with the delivery. They also recommended Max to install all of my appliances. He was amazing as well. Again, he was quick, courteous, and reasonably-priced.

    Purchased appliances for our house

    The customer service at Caplan's was fantastic. Great prices and "no pressure" sales approach. Excellent selection. Would highly recommend. We dealt with Nancy and she was extremely helpful. Check out Caplan's back room for even more savings!!

    Two Mattresses

    My husband and myself were so impressed with the price, quality, service and delivery of our daughter's twin mattress that when we decided to purchase a high-end, pillowtop king size one for ourselves our only thought was to return to Caplan's. Not only did we again get a great deal (purchased a Simmons Backcare model that was on sale), but, got fabulous attention instore and followed through to delivery. Really felt for the delivery guys moving this sizable bed upstairs, but they did it professionally and even with humour!

    Kitchen, Laundry room

    Friends of ours recommended Caplan’s. They had a great experience there and I must say so did we. We were ready to make our purchase at a large builder supply store, but luckily we found Caplan’s. They seem to carry most appliance brands, and they have this outlet section that has the real deals. We bought a fridge with a dent on the back, a last year’s model dishwasher, and a brand new range uncrated by mistake and saved hundreds. In the main store they where clearing out a Whirlpool washer and dryer. Robert Caplan met us at the door and welcomed us he introduced us to Jeff Hoogendam who is very knowledgeable. The delivery came on time and those guys are friendly, and fast. We just found that we were treated right, got a great price, and now we sleep better, because we bought a Tempur mattress there too.

    Front loading Whirlpool washer & dryer

    We decided on our own which front loading washer and dryer we wanted (Whirlpool). We started shopping around based on price and caplan's was BY FAR the best price around, plus a reasonable delivery fee. I got my quote via email and the Salesperson Ms. Nancy Bedard, who was very helpful and responsive to our email messages. I didn't even have to put any money down I just paid the whole thing on delivery day. The delivery occurred right on time and the guys put down mats etc. to protect the floors. The only reason I am not giving 5 stars all around is because of a very small issue which would not stop me from highly recommending them. We were mistakenly charged a $15 set up fee for the machines. However, since our laundry room wasn't ready, the machines were not set up, just delivered. I emailed right away and was told "no problem" will credit your account. Then I waited and waited and............In the end it took over a month to get the refund. Note that there was no disagreement about the refund, it just took forever to get it. I was disappointed by this relatively minor point which is too bad because they certainly seem to have their act together. However, I would still highly recommend them.

    New Appliances for Kitchen and Laundry Room

    We recently purchased our Kitchen appliances from Caplan's. We also have purchased our laundry room appliances and mattresses too from Caplan's over this past year. We found the service each time to be excellent and the staff were most knowledgable about the appliances compared to other retailers we visited before making our purchases. What impressed us most was that the staff focused on finding us appliances that met our interests like spacing limitations, back problems for mattresses etc. and were not focusing on pushing us to purchase the latest or highest priced items. Delivery each time was on time and any special requests like taking away old appliances or mattresses were done without hesitation and no mess left behind. If we had any questions or concerns we were directed to the right staff from sales to the delivery department etc. We naturally expected that there would be an issue or two to arise but so far our experience with Caplan's has been smooth from start to finish and we truly were satisfied.

    Kitchen Appliances

    Couldn't stand the salespeople. They couldn't have cared less that I placed a large order with them and when I got the stove, it was dinted. I had a terrible time getting things fixed up and they never contacted me about it, they just put another company on it. Wouldn't go back ever.

    New kitchen appliances

    In regards to Caplans they were gave a great deal and products. The salesman Mr Neel was outstanding and was very helpful and patient and knowledgable about the product and service I required. He gave very sensible advice.

    Kitchen appliances purchase and delivery

    With the service I received, I will never be back. I bought a duel-fuel range, fridge and microwave.I paid in full Aug 4 for a planned delivery on Aug 21 to coincide with the completion of our kitchen renovation. I gave instructions to contact my contractor for any problems providing 2 contact numbers as I would be away. The project was to be completed that week. The delivery to my contractor came without the range. I found out on Aug 31, that the kitchen project had now been on hold for over a week due to the missing range. I contacted Tony and left a message. He did not return my call. I finally got a hold of him Sept 5 and he said they in fact had the range in but were waiting for me to follow up. While frustrated I remained calm saying that they were costing my contractor's time and my money daily. I arranged for a delivery time and took time off work to be home for a delivery between 3 & 8pm. I called at 6:30 to check the arrival time. A woman said Tony was with a client and that all the delivery men had gone home. I held on to speak to Tony for 25 min. At that point, The woman promised he would call back in 5 min. He never did. I left a message on his and the general vm. I got a call the next morning, saying the delivery men have Wed off and I would have to wait. Rob Caplan said no exceptions. I got him to reconsider, the range came but the delivery guys left the old appliances in the kitchen. Ultimately it cost me an extra $1500 in renovations and worse demoralized.

    Purchasing a fridge

    My husband and I bought our fridge from Caplan's in Toronto in 1999. They delivery the appliance on time, even though we live over 100km away, and have made certain that it works properly since we bought it.
