I had hired this company to complete a post renovation clean in my downtown condo in September and had written an unflattering review at that time (althought it seems to have disappeared). Similar to M Lee's comments in this review section - the gentleman that came was rude and abrupt to both myself and the young lady that cleaned with him. He left dust everywhere behind him and I had to repeatedly ask him to go back over the same areas. The young lady did a better job of the areas that she cleaned. The steamer was used at extra cost but the gentleman left dust and streaks everywhere. I had to have the entire condo cleaned again right after this service. My money was wasted on this company and I will never use them again nor recommend them. vm downtown toronto

We hired Clean and Shiny to clean our new house before our move-in date. Although friendly and courteous, the staff showed up 30 mins late (and still charged us for it!) and asked inappropriate questions like how much we paid for our house. I paid an additional $45 for steam cleaning which I was told would ensure complete sanitization and cleanliness, however everything feels/looks grimy. I suspect this is due to the residue from the steam (?) but I'd expect the surfaces to be wiped down afterwards if that is what happens. The floors still have debris on them, all the lights were left on after cleaning, and the staff left a bag of garbage containing, among other things, their own empty water bottles. I will likely have to sweep the floors and wipe down the surfaces again and overall, could have done a much better job myself. A disappointing experience given all the great reviews on Home Stars. UPDATE - just read the company's response - that's ridiculous. We have correspondence between us and them confirming the booking and payment. They did a bad job - period.

I have been using Clean and Shiny for about 3 years now. I have always been thrilled with the level of service and the quality of the cleaning that they provide. It is just fantastic to come home on a Friday at the end of a hard working week to find the house looking beautiful. Another thing that I appreciate is the level of personal service. It is a nice feeling to know that you have people in your home that you can relate to. I love the girls that Clean and Shiny sends to clean. I consider myself to be very particular about how some things are cleaned, and if ever I feel like something isn't quite the way I wanted it, I feel very comfortable teeling them and they thank me for bringing it to my attention. I feel very good recommending Clean and Shiny to others!

Me and my sister run a daycare from the basement of my 4 bedroom home and we found Clean and Shiny while searching for replacements for our old cleaning company. They did a great job cleaning my house as well as the daycare area. I would like to thank the great staff at Clean and Shiny for the amazing service that we received and we look forward to our next cleaning. Moving in to a condo and the condo was exceptionally dirty and overwhelmingly greasy. We had tried ourselves to clean and the kitchen was just not anywhere near acceptable and sticky and greasy all over. Clean and Shiny came in and spent the majority of the time in the kitchen, using steam cleaning and the kitchen looks like a whole different space. Even the cabinets are a different colour. The were very interested in feedback and after they completed they asked us if everything was okay. They worked extremely hard and thoroughly and finished the job actually quicker than anticipated. I would definitely recommend them!

We recently completed a renovation and decided to hire a professional company to come help us. Originally we hired Clean My Space to come do the cleanup. We were quite disappointed and felt ripped off. They showed up late, without a vacuum and had to borrow several of our cleaning supplies. We left them with a priority list of things that needed to be done for the upper floor and they did an awful job not to mention overcharged us! My husband decided to find another company to finish the main level and basement. We were recommended Clean and Shiny from good friends of ours who get them on a weekly basis. I have to say that they did an amazing job. Everything was cleaned up to our expectations and I would recommend them to anybody who would like to go with a professional cleaning company!

Condo renovation clean up. I found Clean and Shiny online, and was very pleased with the cleaning. In addition to the great service, I was also happy with the fact that I could pay for the invoice over the internet. The team was very flexible and more importantly, hard working. I will recommend the services of Clean and Shiny to my friends and family.

<b>Clean and Shiny</b> is a friendly cleaning company. The staff went the extra mile and ensured both time and budget are met. Jen and Linda did an amazing job. They were friendly and diligent in their work; given it was a large job, as it was a post renovation cleaning (very dusty.) I would never use any other service after this great experience. I am planning on using Clean and Shiny in the future.
