    Post-renovation clean and post-move clean

    We completed renovations on our 90 year old home two days before we were scheduled to move in. Clean and Shiny worked with our schedule and showed up for 10:00 on a Sunday morning. They dealt cheerfully and efficiently with the dust, debris and grime and managed to make the house livable in four hours. I was so impressed that I had them come back and do the post-move clean of our condo. This is a wonderful and reliable service and I would not hesitate to use them again.

    Move-In Cleaning

    Joe and his crew were very nice, and definitely hardworking. Unfortunately they didn't bring any cleaning supplies with them except vinegar and Vim. They did their best with what they had, but this took them longer than it would otherwise, and now I have to reclean the dozen or so things that couldn't be cleaned properly (windows, stove, some hard-water stains on the floor next to a sink, etc.). Also, they added on a $20 insurance fee when I was told this was included in the rates. Not a terrible experience, but not good and I wouldn't recommend them.

    Move-in Cleaning

    Thank you so much for the wonderful job you did at my new home. I didn't think that oven could be saved, and the shower is actually usable now! I am really impressed with your work and will definitely call on you again. Thanks for being such a great professional.

    Post Reno Clean

    I had just fully renovated my house and was moving in quite soon. The house was a disaster with dust and debris all over. I called in the clean and shiny team who were able to clean the house and remove every spec of dirt. I was pleased with how nice, responsive and punctual the team was. I would definitely use them again!! They were completely worth the money...

    Home cleaning services - post construction and regular

    We used C&S twice after construction in our condo. Following the death of my wife, I have used them again just to perform a general cleaning. They exceeded my expectations, worked hard and cleaned thoroughly including areas I had not noticed as needing attention. The results of the extra work they did are obvious.

    Post renovation cleaning

    I was thoroughly delighted with Clean and Shiny on all counts. They were prompt, professional, asked me what I wanted done in detail, and provided all their own equipment and supplies. When I arrived home on the evening after they'd cleaned, I knew they had done a great job as soon as I opened the front door. I am still discovering new areas of the house where they cleaned -- to my delight. I'd recommend them to anyone.

    Open House Cleaning Services

    Thank you very much for a wonderful job you did for my client. You made his very unkept place look good and clean in a short time. Please let your team know how much I appreciated their responsiveness, caring attitude and thoughtfulness.     Cleaning of house to get ready for sale

    A family-run business that is prompt, polite and lives up to their promise. Three people thoroughly cleaned a large, 3-story house from top to bottom in record time. I am very happy with the results and would certainly use them again.

    Move-In Cleaning

    So, I'll give him one point for showing up on time/making himself available at the last minute... but that's absolutely where it ends. Last year, we were very excited to have bought our first home and spent a few days after closing making sure it was all fixed up before we moved in. I was disabled at the time and needed assistance to ensure our house was clean and comfortable. Clean & Shiny showed up and the man we met was RUDE! He barged into our house with his shoes on and refused to take them off - even when I asked!!! He told me he couldn't possibly work without shoes on and was so loud and defiant - just flat out refused to do it - huh??? Can you imagine!? A cleaner who trudges their dirty outdoor shoes through your house - even on your carpet upstairs in and around our bedrooms. I was so livid with his disrespectful behaviour, I would have asked him to leave right there, but unfortunately - I was disabled and we were desperate to have the house cleaned as we were moving in the next day and experienced a no-show from another cleaning company the day prior. We felt we had no other options... from there it went from bad to worse... the lady who was working with him cleaned our bathroom and when they left, we noticed that she didn't even touch the shower tiles...they were completely full of soap scum and not even touched! My husband ended up having to scrub this down himself... we were so disappointed not only with the rude service, but also with the poor quality of cleaning. Please do yourself a favour if you're reading this review and BEWARE! Good cleaners are hard to find, so don't take your chances here.

    House cleaning in preparation for an open house

    We love Clean and Shiny and use them all the time. They pay attention to detail and do a great job. The staff is friendly and helpful and the price is fair. Clean and Shiny is highly recommended!!
