Dr Green Lawn Care Services reviews (1265)

I made the mistake of acquiring this companies services last summer due to a door to door salesman with a good pitch. Immediately after I read reviews on them and soon learnt that a lot of the reviews were negative mostly regarding if you ever need to cancel the service. In about mid winter I decided that I didn't wanna continue service so emailed them to cancel on the website using the 1 of 2 only ways of cancellation their website says. About 2 weeks ago I look out my window to find one of their guys out fertilizing my lawn, I explained to him that I had cancelled services months prior, he said I was the 7th person that day to have the same issue. He assured me, I wouldn't be charged and he would have my account cancelled. Today I get an email from them telling me that weather permitting they will be out in 2 business days to perform my next scheduled maintenance. This time I called customer service, where the lady on the other line really didn't wanna hear what I had to say, just wanted to offer me full services again for $259. This lady has now assured me the account is cancelled, I won't be charged and no one will be here in 2 days. I'll believe that when I don't see it. As for the service, they are here and gone in about 2 mins, they sprayed more fertilizer on my sidewalk,deck and rocked side yard than they did my actual grass. This is a garbage company with garbage service and I wouldn't recommend them to my worst enemy.

With Dr. Green taking care of my lawn for the past two years, it’s staying in great shape. I have appreciated the prompt service, good customer service and the friendly web interface where I can track my service and account details. Good email updates have also helped track my service. All in all it has been a good experience.

Just a quick note to tell you that the great service that I have received from Dr. Green for many years continues. My Specialist (Dustin) was here for my “first” 2015 treatment and left me some helpful suggestions regarding improving my lawn. Keep up the good work!

This will be year 2 with the company and I must say that the service that you provide is top notch. I had used one of your competitors in the past and was not happy with the results. By random, I chose Dr. Green and have been very happy ever since. What l like best is I can call and speak to a live person about anything I need done to my yard. When the service people show up, they call ahead so I can make sure they have access to my back yard. I also like the fact that I can prepay and not have to dig into my pocket after each visit. The service people will leave me a notification that they have been here and confirm what they have done. What I like is if there is something that I need, they let me know so I can act accordingly. Over all, the service has been great and the results on my yard show it. I am looking forward to having Dr. Green service my yard again this year.

Horrible customer service. Finally went to cancel contract for this year and instead of just refunding my money I was told that I had to contact my bank to request a refund. NEVER had this problem with a company before. Always have just had cheque sent. RIDICULOUS!!

WE have used Dr green in the past and loved how our lawn looked. This year HOWEVER we paid in advanced as we normally do and waited. We noticed that other weed companies had come and sprayed homes in our area we waited a week and then called Dr Green they said they would be there with In 5 business days. We waited and called again. They said that someone would be there with in 5 days. We waited and then called again. They said 5 days we said not good enough they said they would get someone out with in the next 3 days. once again no one came. We called again they said that there was an invoice made up for 2 weeks previous and they did not no why it was not done yet and they would speak to a supervisor and get someone out right away we waited then called again they said that someone would be there with in the next 2 days. Still no one came. We called and cancelled. We could not get anyone out. Brutal service VERY DISSAPPOINTED Just got what was supposed to be my refund on ,my credit card and noticed it was short the one service they were supposed to come for and did not That is awful

I have been using Dr. Green for the last 3 years and I enjoy that the excellent service with great results and attentive customer service. My lawn is in good hands and I am looking forward to many more years with them as my lawn care provider.

We have been very pleased with the services Dr. Green delivers to our home annually. I know our garden will look great in very short order after a very long and cold winter!
