DO NOT USE DR. GREEN lawn services. They are poorly run, do not know what customer service is about, and overcharge on everything. We have told them numerous times we didnt not want their services yet they continue to do so. Now they call us daily threatning us. Registered compaint with BBB but that doesnt slow them down.

We signed up for a year of lawn care services from Dr. Green for 2012. The results were a horribly sick and weed infested lawn. On some days when a technitian showed up he would practically run while applying whatever it was they were applying. On other days it would be raining yet they would apply anyway. At the start of this year we informed Dr. Green that we did not want there service again a technitian showed up anyway. Again it was a rainy day so I'm sure whatever they spread would have rinsed away almost immediately. We refused to pay that bill and were hounded mercilessly. We are now enjoying the effort Dr. Green expends trying to get the small outsanding payment from us as we know it is costing them money. They will never see another dime from us. Ever.

Actually in Newmarket, however they do not give me that option, After complaining about everything growing on my lawn except grass, I was told to dig them out myself....unbelievable. would never go back

Dr. Green have pathetic customer service. I bought service in April for my Lawn. They showed up first time in May for soil conditioning. I asked them to call me before coming but they never did. They put board up that they serviced lawn. I didn't see any benefit from first service. They were suppose to come in June for Weed treatment month after soil conditioning, they never showed up. I called few times and got reply that they will come but never showed up. I called again early August and asked them to talk to supervisor. I was told that supervisor will call back but supervisor never called me back. I see them coming today at 3:44 pm without any notice (I asked them 5 times to call me before coming). They spend less than 10 minutes on my property and left. The only reason I know because my wife was at home and she went to pick my kids. They saw her coming when she left to pick my kid and they left even before she came back which was less than 10 minutes. I am not sure how some one can do weed treatment in less than 10 minutes. Pathetic customer service.

Stay away from this company unless you want to have the same trouble!!I ordered the initial package from Kijiji daily deals in 2011 and nobody came. I called and someone came in march 2012. this year they came back wthout any notice stating they provide service season by season unless I call ahead of the season. the vocher I purchased from Kijiji didn't have this term and the last year's service didn't leave any piece of paper @ my door! I called 3 times to cancel the service. and still bill me for the 2 serivces(note the 2nd service was one day after I placed the cancellation call). the call center rep was very rude and not willing to offer any help. they just want to take $$$. I DON'T want to pay them since I never ordered this season's servevice. now they are threatening to put my case thru a 3rd party collection agency and will report to credit bureau. Beware!!!

We tried them for 2 years and no success in removing weeds, clover, etc. We switched companies, and in our first year with them, our lawn is 100% better. Dr Green also seemed to be in & out on our propertyvery quickly (work from home, so we were able to see them in action).

Ridiculous service, they provided a service for me that I had not asked for. I did not want any lawn care from them nor did i request any and yet they sent someone over while I was on vacation and did a very poor job anyhow. When I received a statement to pay for the treatments I called into the company asking why I was charged for a service I did not ask for. The lady I spoke to on the phone was extremely rude and did not offer any help she only addressed me with extreme attitude and eventually hung up on me. I continue to receive bills with interest charges and threats of this company attempting to ruin my credit. I will address the better business bureau and troubleshooters as this entire experience has cost me and my family great stress all due to one sales rep deciding to give the go ahead and provide an unwanted, unasked for service which actually damaged parts of my lawn. I am extremely unsatisfied and will never recommend this company to anyone. I have tried many times to resolve the issue in a civil matter but it has lead nowhere.

Last year we decided to go with Dr. Green Lawn services. OUr primary goal was to get rid of weeds. However, as the service progressed, we were not satisfied with what was being done. The weeds stayed and on a few occasions, a couple of young guys showed up, spread fertizer for 15 mins and billed $80. At the end of the contract, all in, we paid about $400. At the last payment last year, the person that we were dealing with asked us if we wanted to renew for next year and we said no. Well, low and behold, Dr. Green services show up again this year. No call to ask if we wanted to start again. We called to tell them that we were not paying because we cancelled last year. We continue to get notices and calls telling us that we didn't cancel the contract although they only showed up once this year so either they realized they made a mistake or something. Anyways, we have told them on several occasions that we are not paying for something that we didn't ask for. Service was sub par which is why we cancelled. There is no guarantee now that they won't show up again next year and i would love to know how to resolve this. I have contacted the BBB since all of our calls have not resulted in any resolution from the company.

NEVER use Dr. Green, There is an opportunity for them to coach their sales staff, as they never advise a customer that contract is an auto renewal contract. I cancelled my services and had a written proof with them, then also they kept sending me invoices and their call centre staff threaten to send my account to collection. I will never use this company again.

KEEP THis IN MIND HOMEOWNERS: Anyone you see here who gave negtively reviews or 0 ratings are their genuine customer (or ex-cusotmers most likely), while the rest with their company name embedded in the title or gave a perfect 10 or 9 ratings are fake and virtual customers created or manipulated by the company itself!! i had the same terrible experience like others. After their 5th "very best visits" this year, my lawn looks worse than ever. crazy weed, crabgrass, barren patches dead spots, insects and holes everywhere in my lawn!! I doubt if anyone ever came and did anything!? Oh sorry i shouldn't doubt that they've sent people over coz the blatant sign on my front lawn and frequent bills in the mail box keep reminding me, but I never seen them coming in person during the day, even though i've requested millions of time to call me before someone come so i can talk to him about my lawn problems even for once! But never happened. The worst part is their customer service, horrible, horrible!! Their job is not to solve problems, but solely to collect payment. When they hear word like "cancellation", "bill dispute" etc. they turn defensive immediately, however they do know how to response because they get similar calls all the times!!! They blame everything on yourself and they threatened you that the call will be recorded, so if you say anything like not going to pay the balance if problem not get fixed, they told you it's your problem and nobody will help you because you refused to pay!! Why the hell i have to pay if the service i receive is not satisfactory at all!!! well that's not the "best" part, the "best" part is you cannot even cancel it because you don't want to pay for the crappy service, and they will keep sending people over and over and doing nothing but building up the balance on your bill!!! Asking me what to do? well if they wanna keep doing that, don't dream i will spare one more penny, just sue me, please! Oh last note, don't ever trust them on the phone if they told you the weed will get controlled or your lawn is gonna get better after their next visist (to allure you to pay balance), well i believed them once and i regret it now, because you know that won't ever happen!!! Just stay away for god's sake.
