    New combi furnace/water heater

    Excellent service. In my opinion above and beyond normal. Always on time, friendly and cordial. Made sure any and all problems handled quickly and efficiently. Due to delays with other parts of our major renovation, Laird had to work in and around other contractors, and electricians, with no additional problems created. Special thanks, among others to Ron, Ross, Dave, Chris, and Ryan.

    Laird Heating

    I have been fortunate enough to have had Laird and Sons as my furnace and fuel company since July 1971. Through out all this time Laird and Sons have given me first rate service and a couple of furnaces too. The whole staff, from the office to the field has been and still is excellent, friendly, prompt, and accomplished. Brian is an excellent example of this first rate service . Brian comes every Fall and does a first rate job cleaning the furnace and getting me set for another winter. I also love that four generations of the Laird family have kept me warm and cosy.     condensate pump replacement

    The condensate pump on my furnace stopped working. I called and arranged to have it replaced. Told it would be $134 for service but price for part wouldn't be know because the tech needed to look at the furnace first. When the tech arrived he knew the price of the part and what needed to be replaced before even looking at my furnace! Seems like a bit of "bait and switch" to get you to call them - then you're over the barrel for whatever they want to charge you for the part. Other HVAC companies were able to give price for the part when I called. On the plus side, everyone was very nice and polite, even when I called to complain.

    We regret the impression that this customer took away from our service. This was a part that could have been quoted over the phone although that is normally not the case. Almost always a quote is provided after a professional tech has done a diagnostic. The customer then has the option of declining the repair. We totally reject being associated with any unethical practice , while being respectful of this customers impression.

    Furnace Installed

    Superb experience with Laird and Son. From my first phone call (good customer service) to the sales appointment to the end of the installation, everything was done not only professionally but with friendliness and courtesy which is important to me. I felt that I could trust this company right from the initial meeting with Ron, the sales person. The two technicians, Andrew and Ryan are two of the nicest people you could meet. My highest recommendation.

    Furnace and air conditioner

    I had a furnace and air conditioner installed by laird and sons in the summer. They were punctual, clean and quick. I recently had to call for a service call. Again, they were punctual, quick and efficient. I would highly recommend them to anyone. I have gotten better service from them in comparison to the big name companies I have used in the past.

    New AC Unit

    Laird & Sons were fantastic to work with when our full AC system faltered. We replace the unit and pipes i.e. the whole system. Their team was extremely professional, pleasant to deal with, and treated my home with complete respect. The professionalism continued in the follow up after installation with respect to the gov't rebate program. My complete experience was flawless and I would not hesitate to recommend this company.

    Great service

    Our furnace was making some loud noises after turning it on this fall. We tried to set up a service call with the company we have used yearly in the past, but they could not guarantee a visit until mid November. Laird sent a service person the day after my call and things were taken care of in under an hour (for $135. service call) They called to give me notice as they were on the way--as promised. The service fellow spent time showing me how to bleed rads, check furnace pressure, add oil to my pump and recommended replacing corroded copper pipes. He also adjusted my bathroom floor heating on his way out. Finally, I appreciated the fact that he was safety conscious -- reminding me about yearly furnace inspections and the importance of replacing carbon monoxide detectors with the system we have in our older home.

    New Air Conditioner Installation

    Laird and son replaced two air conditioners in my home. They did a fabulous job and the crew were careful and meticulous. The installation team was also very friendly. I recommend them without reservation!

    Air Conditioner emergency repair

    I dealt with Bryan M. from Laird & Son on an emergency air conditioning problem I had (during the july `23 2016 TO heat-wave). His service and professionalism was amazing. The issue was rapidly diagnosed and repaired immediately as well as helpful hints provided on maintaining our unit (which I originally bought from Laird & Son 17 years ago as part of a complete heating cooling package). On all aspects of service quality in a friendly, professional and honest manner this company has excelled whenever I had to deal with them. Their pricing is very competitive for the quality service they deliver!!

    Fix tankless water heater
