    Furnace / AC

    After the installation of our new Furnace & A/C system was completed I noticed quite a large gash going across my new interior back door. This was caused by the equipment brought into my home by Shipton staff. They replaced my back door with an identical door which I originally had installed from Morley Window's Doors.

    Gas Stove Install and Furnace Repair

    We had Shipton's in to install our gas stove and they called to say they were in the neighbourhood early, can the come now. I was pleasantly surprised. The gentleman was so professional! We recently called them back to inspect our furnace and again, we were extremely pleased with their professionalism. Prices were fair and service was excellent!! They will always be our first choice!

    Furnace Installation

    I am writing to express my appreciation for the fantastic job that the people at Shipton's did to resolve the problem with my furnace. We went from a unknown problem and no heat on tuesday morning, through an on-site diagnosis later that same day, to a completed installation of a new furnace by thursday afternoon. Your installation crew worked diligently to get my heat back on as soon as possible and did a remarkable job of keeping the worksite clean during the whole removal and installation process. Right from my initial phone call to Wendy, your team showed the very essence of courtesy, professionalism and sense of urgency. This is exactly what customer service is all about. There are many companies that say they offer superior customer service...but the number that actually provide is very low. Shiptons can rightfully make that claim. I would appreciate if you would please pass along my sincere thanks for a job well done.     Furnace and Air Conditioner Installation

    Exhaust Ducting Installation

    To Shipton's Heating and Cooling I am sending you this to inform you of the excellent work that two of your trades people did in my home. On wed november 21, 2012 Jake and John showed up to relocate two heating ducts and install the exhaust ducting for my new hood. Both were very professional in the way that they handled themselves and the work that they did was excellent. They took care in protecting my hardwood floors by putting down covers before walking on them and were always courteous and polite. The work that they did was efficient and done with care.     Furnace Repair

    Grossly overpriced, would not deal with again. First told me my blower motor was broken. When I hemmed a bit, he said it was the pressure switch, and the thermostat that were faulty. I hemmed a bit more and he replaced the pressure switch only. Its been working fine since. He tried to charge me $200 more than necessary. Also, he charged approx $366 for a part that costs $40 online. Never will I call Shiptons again. Thank you.

    Furnace/Airconditioner

    I would highly recommend Shiptons's Heating and Cooling for their professionalism and quality. The salesman was knowledgable and not high pressure. Of the companies we had in our home for an estimate they were not the cheapest or the most expensive but they were the company we felt the most comfortbe with. We have been very happy with our furnace (Coleman) and have not had any problems for the past 3 years.

    Air Conditioning

    Our C/A stopped working on a very hot day and within 1 hour someone was at my home and it was fixed. The repair took about 30 minutes so I thought the cost for labor was a bit high but overall the job was done and in a timely manner.

    Gas Fire Place Repair

    Called for repair for a gas fire place that needed a new gas valve. They came out and had trouble finding Model Number and Serial Number which they did find after stopping to take four phone calls. They never did phone back regarding gas valve replacement. I called them 3 times over the next three months with my service order invoice number 53729 but they could never find it in there system and could not recall who had made the visit to my home.

    humidifier

    we needed a humidifier in our home. we thought about buying the portable ones or the home whole humidifier. We called them and they assessed our house conditions and recommended the ideal option for us. we had the humidifier installed and it really makes a difference in the house. the service was good. i recommended Shipton's.
