After getting some estimates to rebuild my chimney from some highly rated businesses, I chose The Chimney Company. The estimates I received were all similar in price, but I liked the way Bill provided a clear detailed task list and written guarantee. All other quotes were either verbal or lacking in (written) details. I was a little concerned about being able to find matching brick, but Bill's choice was perfect. The chimney looks great. I found Bill very knowledgable and great to deal with. I will be calling him again for other projects as required.

Bill was responsive, accessible, honest & straightforward - scheduling our job was a breeze, Bill called 1 week before, then the day before to confirm. His crew (Dustin, Matt, Clayton) showed up on time, were super professional, did a great job and cleaned-up afterward. The Chimney Company is top value for price & service! Had Bill and his crew come in to install a chimney liner on a home I just moved into. Everyone present was professional, quick and clean. You would not have known they had come at! I was very impressed with Bill and his knowledge and manner, I would highly recommend this company. I found The Chimney Company on homestars.com. Seeing as though we are in a semi-detached, and my chimney is connected to my neighbor, it was a joint effort of deciding on the contractor to look after the job. Bill, to us was the most qualified. Within a month, the job was done to our satisfaction. They're very professional, did a great job, and cleaned up everything so good, that you'd never know they were here. All in all, very pleased with the work, and I'd recommend them to anyone.

I was looking for a company that would do the job right and wouldn't cut corners and I found it in The Chimney Company. Bill and his guys were very courteous, and friendly. If I had any questions they would answer them right away. They worked quickly and made sure the work site was always clean and safe. With visions of hot chocolate by the fire on a cold snowy day, my wife and I spoke with numerous contractors to ensure the fireplace/chimney in our 1920's home was in proper working order. We received advice and quotation from three contractors, each of whom suggested a different solution. With safety being our #1 priority, choosing to work with Bill from the Chimney Company was the logical choice. Although Bill's recommendation to install a new stainless steel chimney liner was the most expensive option, he took the time to clearly explain why it made the most sense. In addition, the Chimney Company's "WETT" Certification provided additional comfort and was endorsed by our insurance company. Bill and Dustin did a fantastic job. They arrived when they said they would, did the job that they promised and left the area cleaner then they found it. The only evidence that they had been there was the crackling sound of a warm fire and the smell of hot chocolate in the living room. Working with the Chimney Company was a pleasure from the first phone call to end-of-job. Bill even came back a few days later to make sure everything was working to our satisfaction, inspect the job and answer a few questions. I strongly recommend Bill and the Chimney Company.

My wife contacted 5 companies to quote on fixing our chimney which had damage to the mortar from numerous freeze/thaw conditions over the years. Three responded with on site visits, with one not bothering to forward a quote. The first to respond (same day, I might add) was The Chimney Company with a quote very close to what we estimated the cost to be. The other was slighly higher so we decided to have Chimney Company perform the work. Work was completed ahead of schedule and they even replaced a few broken tiles at no charge. Only complaint is that they left a couple of stains on the interlock brick walkway but they may be able to be cleaned. Bill was very helpful and courteous and I wouldn't hesitate recommending them to anyone. Good job, guys!

We ran into some problems with our water heater and after several back and forth visits from Enbridge we were not going to wait weeks for the issue to be resolved. After being treated so poorly by Enbridge we were completely thrilled to be able to call The Chimney Company and discuss and schedule the work with a short phone call. The guys came on a Saturday to get the work done for us. These guys are organized and they know their stuff.

The Chimney Company came recommended to me by my roofer, Mega City Roofing. I couldn't go ahead with the roof without the chimney being done. Bill told me he was exceptionally busy, but I was prepared to wait till he was available. Sure enough, it did take a few weeks before he could do the job, but once here, was prompt, very polite, easy to deal with and obviously very proud of what he does - and rightfully so. It's too bad one only gets to hire guys like these once per house (hopefully) because once you've found them, you really want them to do more.
