Brandon with Mr Rooter arrived on time, repaired the fill valve on the toilet, inspected other plumbing fixtures in our home, and was generally terrific to deal with. Mr. Rooter is our go-to plumbing company in Calgary.

Jeff the plumber did a great job repairing a small (potentially very bad) leak in our basement. He was thorough, knowledgeable and took the time to explain everything to us. He was very polite and friendly on top of it all! We would definitely call him out again if necessary.

Jeff from Mr Rooter did a fantastic job installing a replacement tankless hot water system. He was very friendly, personable, professional and very knowledgeable. He took the time to be very thorough with us, explaining the problems and options very clearly and in an easy to understand manner. Their cost was reasonable and competitive, and even though this was an expensive job, we are left feeling like we got a deal. We were not charged for the significant amount of time during consultation on site, nor for post-job explanation and wrap up. I would not hesitate to recommend Jeff/Mr Rooter very highly. Parts and labour are guaranteed for 1 year which also adds to the peace of mind.

We had a broken water line to the city street. Andrew Woods and his team at Mr.Rooter did a professional job replacing the line under trying circumstances on one of the coldest weeks of the winter. They went out of their way to make get the job done quickly and get our water back on, and were very price competitive. We wouldn't consider calling anyone else.

Very impressed with this company. Service rep was friendly, knowledgeable, thorough and efficient. Would definitely recommend this company to others. Nice touch that they wear disposable slippers to enter the house.

We freaked out as our toilet backed up and was starting to come up through the shower! Super gross. I called right away and had a plumber come out that day. She was able to fix the problem and guaranteed her work. I was very happy with the service and will use them again.

The service from Mr. Rooter was amazing. They were always available when I was booking the session and Andrew and Jason were very professional and made sure the job was done right. They explained everything very well and did not cut any corners! I don't hesitate to recommend them.

We have had mixed experiences with Mr Rooter - they did excellent timely work on an emergency sewer line backup we had so we called to plan sewer line replacement for us - they cancelled 2 appointments to scope our line at the last minute (my husband took time off work for these appointments) then "delayed" a scheduled third appointment for a scoping (they did not know when they would actually delay it until) 30 minutes before that appointment. So, while Mr Rooter was great on our emergency, Mr Rooter was very unreliable at showing up for our bigger, non-emergency project. We can understand one appointment being cancelled because of someone else's emergency but three times? It did not give us much assurance that our large sewer replacement might go well, so we will be using another company for that.

We called Mr Rooter and they efficiently booked us an appointment to unplug our kitchen sink. We are happy with the work. Our sink was unplugged and the employee wore booties over his work boots which we appreciated when he was in our home. He also placed a protective covering over our kitchen floor and then placed his equipment and tools on top of the drop sheet. The cost was very high but they did what they said they would do which was unplug our sink. They guarantee no plugs for 90 days - if you do have a plug you call them and they will come out and unplug - has to be the same problem. They do not give you a quote over the phone but quote before they start the job and which time you have to decide whether or not to go forward. They came out to our job during normal work hours during the day. Only comment is that price is high.

This was a very challenging job that had to be done in two parts due to the lousy initial installation done by the horrible plumber hired by our builder (he used electrical tape to fasten something!) and the substandard product used on the initial install. The plumber (Jeff) was meticulous, patient, timely, and friendly. He explained what needed to be done in detail, why it was required, and answered any questions I had in a respectful manner. When there was a potential delay in the parts, he contacted me to let me know well in advance. Anyone I spoke with at Mr. Rooter was also friendly and helpful. This is the first company I would call if I had plumbing issues in the future - excellent, honest service and a premium quality job. Pricing seemed fair, especially for the magnitude of the job and the quality of work done - worth every penny.
