We had a good experience when getting our roof re-shingled with Great Canadian Roofing. The man who came out to do the free estimate was very knowledgeable and helpful when deciding the type of shingles. The job was completed efficiently and the workers did a great job on cleaning up any debris. We are very happy with the look and quality of the new roof.

Once my insurance company gave the go ahead, Great Canadian completed the job very efficiently. Shingles were delivered on Thursday and the crew arrived on Sunday completing the new roof on Monday. Minor defiencies were completed to my satisfaction.

We did not think that we needed a new roof for a few years. However rainy weather told us something different. Upon getting a number of quotes we went with this reputible company. We were very keen to get this done before the snow fell. Unfortunatly it was I who had to continually call and check on the status of our roof. They tried to push us off till the next year, but we were having none of it. We held fast and got our roof in time. Too bad for the company, the estimator did not caluculate the entire size of our roof. The company asked us to pay the difference, we were on a tight budget so we held firm at our aggreed to price. The company continued to get us to pay more, but eventually bit the bullet. The workmanship was great. with pleasant installers. Clean up was fine, still finding roofing supplies on the ground, but what can you do. Overall a great job.

Great Canadian is a trusted, professional, and experienced company who has been around for over 10 years. They are a little more expensive than other roofing companies as they don't have regular sales. Throughout the years they have helped us replace shingles on our roofs, add additional insulation to our attics, and repaired new stucco for ceiling repairs. Great Canadian has 24 Hour service and belongs to the BBB, national Siding Contractors Association of Alberta, and Infared Thermal Imaging association. Great Canadian specializes in new construction and rennovations. We have dealt with Great Canadian for many years and have always been satisfied with their services and work. Great Canadian always guaranteed their re-modelling work with a lifetime warranty.

After discovering a leak in my roof, my insurance provider brought out Great Canadian Roofing and Siding Ltd. to patch up the leak and eventually ended up replacing the entire roof. They were able to get out to my house quickly and patch the leak and within a couple of weeks were able to get out and re-shingle the entire roof. I was impressed with how quickly they were able to get out to my house and the quality of the work is great. I really enjoy the fact that their work comes with a five year warranty, as it gives me a little more piece-of-mind.

the two gentlement who installed my new roof are very professional and they even show me the new roof they just installed. At the end they did a fantastic job by cleaning up all the dirty stuffs . I would recommend this company to my friends. Ken

After receiving several quotes from reliable roofing companies in Red Deer, I selected Great Canadian to re-shingle my bi-level home. My decision was based partly on their competitive price but, more importantly, on their attention to detail and excellent customer service. When I first called for a quote in the fall of 2011, I was impressed with the promptness of the general manager’s reply. My opinion of the company was further enhanced by the thoroughness in which the job was assessed and the willing and courteous manner in which all of my questions and concerns were answered. As spring approached, I was again contacted to finalize the contract and to select a date for the work to be carried out. I was pleased that the work could be scheduled early in the spring so that re-shingling did not interfere with a planned landscaping project. While re-shingling was underway, particular attention was paid to the weather forecast to reduce any risk of water leaking into the attic. I was informed in advance of when the roofers would be working. Again, employees of the company were courteous and respectful and carried out their work in a professional manner. Before completing the job, efforts were made to clean up the site. The general manager made a final inspection to ensure that nothing had been overlooked and that I was completely satisfied with the work. As a goodwill gesture, he also advised me on another roofing problem that I had and asked me to let him know how and when that situation was resolved. Based on the professional manner in which Great Canadian carried out the re-shingling of my roof, from start to finish, I would not hesitate to recommend them to others.

We had an appointment with Great Canandian Roofing (GCR) for July 6, 2012 - twice confirmed by them. July 6 came...no roofers, no call, no explanation. By mid-day of July 6, we received a call from GCR, they had dispatched an unqualified team to our house the previous evening. Apparently, our roof pitch is too speep, even though GCR knew this - they had put the roof on the house when it was built, they had two inspectors on our roof the previous year, and they have roofed nearly half of the houses in our neighborhood. Complete incompetence on their part. Morning of July 7, the next crew was supposed to arrive. No show again, no call, no explanation, nothing. By mid-day of July 7, a sub-contractor showed up at our house, promising to do the job July 8 and 9. Morning of July 8, no roofers, no call, no explanation. The weather has been spectacular the past week, so, there is no weather excuse they can use. So far, GCR has been untruthful to us on three occasions, they have been incommunicative, they have shown great incompetence, have been totally unreliable, and think they are totally unaccountable. I would NEVER recommend to do business with them.

Customer service is exceptional from initial visit for requested quote and install of shingles. Our install team worked tirelessly and completed the job in a timely manner. They were respectful of our property and gardens and kept a tidy worksite. Thank-you for a job well done! I would highly recommend Great Canadian Roofing and Siding.

They were awesome, best roofing ever! They were professional, concise, and always nice. I especially liked the Beyer boys. They answered all my questions and were good looking to boot.
