    Replacement windows and doors

We had all our windows and doors replaced last September. The original installation was done very poorly and since then we have had to call them over 20 times to come and fix multiple problems with them. Worst customer service I have ever dealt with in my life, they do not return phone calls, have to keep calling back to get any service. They have been to out house over 5 times to fix/replace my doors and windows which has now been going on for 11 months. We went with this company thinking we were getting the best in the business, but boy have they ever disappointed and we paid much more then what other companies quoted. I wouldn't recommend this company even to my worse enemy.

    Front door

In April 2014 I met with a centennial windows sales rep in regards to replacing my front door. The salesman sold us on the lifetime warranty, installers with years experience, and 90 guarantee to be completed. The salesman advised that someone would contact us within a few days about coming to take measurements. A month later we still hadn't heard from centennial. I contacted them, and then they made arrangements for someone to come out a week later, which he did. In July 2014, the month the door was to be finished by the guarantee, I still hadn't heard from centennial. I contacted them numerous times leaving messages with no response. Eventually, I got a hold of someone to complain about the door not being completed in the 90 guaranteed time frame. Staff advised that they didn't know anything about the 90 day guarantee, although it's written right in their contract. I spoke with numerous employees who didn't know anything about the 90 guarantee. Eventually I spoke with the manager who advised that they do not have to complete the work in 90 days, and that the government gives them an additional 120 days to complete the work. Centennial obviously don't take their guartentees seriously. At the end of July 2014 after numerous complaints they advised they would be finally attending to install the door. Two staff members came for installation who couldn't have been older then 19 years old, so much for years of installation experience. Messages were left with our salesman to contact us, which he never did. After the two installers spent the day putting the door in, it turned out that the elipse over my door was not measured properly and they would have to come back to complete. They advised by the end of the week. A week later, I still hadn't heard anything so called them again. I was advised that it would be an additional 2-3 weeks. It's now August 5, 2014 and I contacted centennial windows once again to gets time frame. They advised it will still be an additional 3 weeks. I would highly not recommend cenntennial windows and doors. It's almost been 4 months and my door is still not complete. Staff are unreliable in calling when they say they will and returning phone calls. Who knows how much longer I'll be waiting for my door to be completed. Find some other business for your doors and windows, centennial is expensive and do not take their guartentees seriously.

Hi Laura, The entire Centennial team was extremely disappointed with our performance when we read your review. For this to have happened is completely unacceptable and does not reflect the level of customer service we pride ourselves on. We hope that you will accept our sincerest apologies. Thank you for speaking with us on the phone and for working with us to put an acceptable action plan in motion. Also, we appreciate you bringing this to our attention so we can provide better customer service in the future. Please feel free to contact me if there is anything else we can do to improve your experience with Centennial. Sincerely, Jon Low Manager of Installation and Customer Service 1-800-265-1995

    Home renovation, window replacement

We bought a house and needed to replace some windows. We had a salesman come and give us a quote. Centennial quoted well above the others, but the warranty and service promises lured us. We don't want to have to replace them again for a very long time. The installers installed warped parts on two large windows, split the wood frame on one, installed yet another so out of alignment it won't close and on still another window damaged the wall. The installer attempted to hide the wall damage by using finishing nails to piece the drywall chunk back in place. They have promised to look after it immediately!! Waited for an inspector to come and decide it all needed fixed. Waited for an appt for repairs, they called at 5pm to say they weren't coming and another appt would be made. The next appt was yet another inspection with yet another promise to repair. The next appt they just didn't show up. They said in one call that they had previously tried calling multiple times. That's simply untrue - I have a new fangled phone that records ALL calls and yet it missed all their calls, no other calls just theirs. They made a mess of 4 out of 7 windows, that's not very favourable odds. I do NOT recommend Centennial Windows and Doors. They are a high priced disappointment and headache. I recommend trying a different company that doesn't charge as much and backs up their promises.

This co was referred by by neighbour who where very pleased with their work. I found them very good to deal with from the salesperson to the installers. Everyone was friendly, helpfull and the installers where very quick and very tidy. We will be finishing our windows with them in the future.

    Replacement windows and patio door

I had all windows and a patio door replaced in our home approximately 10 years ago and recently had 2 panels in our front bay window crack and loose their seal. Centennial was very prompt in fixing the problem under warranty. Very pleased with them.

    Windows and doors

We had some installation problems initially due to the age of our house. We were told that they have made some changes for the better in their installations due to the problems encountered on our project. Centennial Windows has rectified the problems. The job foreman, Don Rigby, went above and beyond trying to ensure the job was done to our satisfaction. It's obvious how much this company means to him. Very professional, very proud. May seem a bit pricey, but you get what you pay for, and here, it is TOP QUALITY. I would highly recommend Centennial Windows.

    Excellent Quality and Service

We've had Centennial replace 4 windows over the last 2 years. They are fairly pricey but I have never regretted purchasing my windows from Centennial because the quality of the windows provides a comfortable indoor climate and peace of mind that, to me, is priceless. I've referred family as well and they are pleased too.

New windows for the whole house

We got new windows for our house to help with saving on heating. We got two kitchen windows, dining room window, front bay window and a specialty window which is round like a port hole, two bedroom windows and a bathroom window. The team came around 11 am and had everything installed and done before 1 pm. There were fast and very curtious and showed us how the windows worked and how you can clean them from the inside without ever having to go outside to do them. They also explained to us that we would get a discount under the government grant for doing energy efficent windows--which we received about three weeks later in the mail. I would recommend them highly as they did a great job, price was right and very friendly people to deal with

I noticed my heating bill was going up and up. Contacted Centennial to replace my windows and since having them installed the house has been much more comfortable without huge temperature swings

    Windows

We had 17 windows installed in our home by Centennial Windows. I would highly recommend them. They were amazing and they went above and beyond the level of service that I expected. You could tell that they were expert installers and they cared! They treated my home with care and made sure that the windows were installed properly. The windows look great and function well. We had an issue in our largest window that's 10 feet by 8 feet. We had some decorative brass pieces installed within the glass and when a train would go by it would rattle slightly. When we asked Centennial what they could do about this, they commented that they could put an extra piece of bevelled glass in the middle to help support the brass pieces. This solved the problem and Centennial considered this a warranty issue because they didn't expect us as homeowners to know that this could happen. Peace of mind!
