We worked with HIP almost all of 2023 on two separate projects. We found the company to be an outlier in comparison to other renovation companies. The design team was invaluable, the work was of a high quality and there were minimal delays. A huge positive was HIP's attention to deficiencies, which will always occur in a renovation, no matter what. At all times they attended to them without any issues and in a timely manner. That was key for us.

Just wanted to shout out the exceptional service of Elia, Gerhard and their crew of Nadia and John! You made the renovation of our basement washroom so seamless. Your organization, professionalism, and workmanship are to be commended. Thank you to Nadia and John for taking the time and care to create a beautiful bathroom space! Thank you!!!

Nikolai and his brother did an amazing complete renovation to my master bathroom in less than two weeks. His attention to detail and solid recommendations resulted in an almost perfect outcome. We had a small issue with the shower fixture (leaking cartridge) a few months later and he came and replaced it almost immediately. I would definitely recommend this company for your renovation and especially Nikolai!

Happy to have found HIP to do my bathrooms! Did my kitchen, basement renos and all were a nightmare! Answered prayer Id say because Slava, Rafael were just amazing! The whole project were done with professionalism and care. Most importantly, they were pleasant to deal with. Im glad to have found them! I just wished I knew them sooner! I typically do not write reviews for either good or bad product or services. This however is an exception. I hired Jerry back in July of 2023 to renovate a reasonable large master bathroom. His workmanship and professionalism were top notch. The work was completed on time, on budget with exceptional quality and attention to detail. I would not hesitate to hire Jerry and the Home Improvement People for my next renovation.

We are very happy that we chose THIP for our house reno. The reno included complete demo of our main floor bungalow, including removal of structural walls, then new framing for insulation, new bathrooms, kitchen, stairs, and flooring. From starting with the quote to finishing every last detail of the job, the team of Elia, Satar, and Charlotte was great to work with. They were always prompt to respond to all of my questions or concerns, even on weekends. Satar was responsible for onsite construction and he and his team worked hard. Satar had great attention for all the details. Charlotte designed our kitchen and bathrooms and made sure that the they were installed exactly as we were expecting. I am a pretty tough customer and the THIP team exceeded my expectations, including finishing ahead of the timeline that they originally quoted. And they stand by their work. After the electrical work was done, we had an issue with one of the outlets. The electrician came by the next day and corrected it. I have already recommended THIP to friends and family. Thanks THIP team for such a positive reno experience. I am now thinking about what other jobs I might have for the team.

Initially had another contractor do drawings and plan the basement but then the price was higher than expected. Contacted Elia and the home improvement people who came and gave me a very reasonable and realistic quote. They were very professional, kind and they were fast. Any problems or issues were quickly fixed by Christian and Carlos and communication was great. They made the whole process fairly easy for us to navigate. I will call them first going forward, make them your first call too. They were a pleasure to deal with.

I just wanted to share how very happy we are with our newly renovated home. We appreciate the final product every single day and we felt heard throughout the entire process. Charlotte, Larry and their team ensured we got exactly what we wanted. Communication and service was excellent from start to finish. They both worked with us attentively and kindly through the inevitable challenges that come up throughout a major home renovation involving new kitchen, bathrooms, plumbing, flooring, tiling, paint etc... Every worker that passed through our door was professional, respectful and ensured a clean and safe environment daily, which was important as we have young kids and the job was significant. They delivered beautifully within the agreed upon time frame and the deep discounts we received allowed us to get the custom look and product we were after.
