    Asbestos and Plaster Removal

    We discovered asbestos in the plaster of our 100-year-old house and interviewed several contractors before selecting Accu-Star to do the removal. Elizabeth did a great job of communicating throughout and the work was done quickly and well. There were no surprises. I wholeheartedly recommend Accu-Star for this kind of job.

    Asbestos and Vermiculite removal

    The quote was quite reasonable, and the guys showed up and got everything done in one day. They even removed an asbestos tile that was wedged into a very hard-to-access post in my basement -- a task I didn't think they'd be able to pull off. Great, friendly serve; clear communication; and prices lower than the other companies I talked to. A+ across the board.

    Mould Remediation

    We hired Accu-Star Environmental Inc. to remove a serious amount of mould that had developed over a period of time in a residential building. The job was explained to us in detail, and I found Terrence to be very knowledgeable as well as attentive to our questions and concerns about the extent of work involved. Additional removals were unexpectedly discovered and dealt with. The associated extra cost, like the original estimate, was reasonable. The post remediation testing by a third-party determined the mould remediation had been successfully completed. Steve and his crew did a great job, and left the dwelling very clean. They were punctual, courteous and professional. I would recommend Accu-Star Environmental Inc. without hesitation.

    Mold Abatement

    Recently I call 2 firms to come to my home and assess my unfinished basement and family room because of a musty smell I had been noticing for some months. After the initial assessments that did confirm there was mold, I chose Accustar Environmental. Terrence and his team couldn't have been any more professional. They arrived exactly on time each day. They remediated the mold and even took out cabinets etc that didn't contain mold but that I just wanted to get rid of. They completed the work on time and exactly to the quote. I'm extremely pleased with the result but more importantly that we're not living with mold any longer. High 5's to Accustar. They deliver!

    Asbestos removal

    An older house was about to undergo rennovations including tearing up floors and floor sanding. We had concerns with possible asbestos during the home inspection for possible asbestos in the linoleum and ductwork. Elizabeth has a great eye and immediately identifyed areas of concern and I had it confirmed it with lab results. An appointment was made and the crew did a great job keeping themselves and the home environment safe. Overall it was a good service and competitively priced.

    Basement Demolition

    Working in the Health and Safety department of a commercial construction company I know the potential hazards associated with asbestos and mold. It is very important to have the material abated and remediated with proper controls in place. After searching Homestars for an abatement contractor I decided to go with Accu-Star based on the great reviews and initial appointment I had with Terrance. Terrance was a pleasure to work with. He was extremely professional, knowledgeable and helpful. He answered all my questions and walked me through the entire process. Learning how much asbestos/mold was in my basement was upsetting to learn, but Terrance assured me the space would be completely demolished and free of asbestos and mold. The crew was professional and once the work was finished left they a nice clean open space for me to finally plan phase 2 of constructing a basement apartment. I would highly recommend Accu-Star they did a fantastic job!

    Asbestos Removal

    Great experience! Elizabeth came to our house and gave us a quote on removing the tiles in our basement (Asbestos Tiles). She was extremely knowledgeable, friendly and even assessed other parts of the house that we were curious about. She put together a comprehensive removal process plan and explained in detail each of the steps involved. They even removed materials that were outside of the asbestos quote at our request. The attention to detail was excellent and we felt like our project was in the right hands. Elizabeth even joined in on the removal process to make sure everything we spoke about during the quote was addressed. They left the work space clean and protected other areas of the house when removing the bags from the contamination area. They showed up on time (Elisabeth arrived early) and did a fantastic job. I recommend everyone use Accu-Star Environmental for all mold and asbestos removal jobs. If you have the same experience as I did, you will not be disappointed.

    Mold and asbestos removal

    We hired Accu-Star to remove some mold that was found during a home inspection. The mold was a lot more extensive than we thought and because of the age of the house there was asbestos in the ceilings and on some wall surfaces. Terrance from Accu-Star was great! He was very knowledgeable and addressed all of our concerns. He also provided timely quotes and the work was done within the agreed timelines. I would recommend Terrance and his team to anyone looking to do similar work.

    Asbestos removal

    We are planning on having our crawl space encapsulated so we needed to have some asbestos pipe wrap removed. Accu-Star sent out someone to check it out and provide a quote. Then they were patient and waited for me to have other work done before I called them in. They arrived on time, kept the area clean and performed the work in a timely fashion while keeping me informed and up to date on what was happening. Overall is was a painless process.

    Asbestos Removal

    We purchased a home and then found out the existing floor in the basement may contain asbestos. Terrence came in, completed his assessment in a proessional manner, quoted a competitive rate for the work to be completed and then completed the job on time and as promised.
