    Internal Craw Space Waterproofing

    We live in the Hamilton beach area and this area is known for wet basement or even flooding. Back in March 2021, we contacted 6 waterproofing companies for an estimate and we had very different solutions and costs: • One of them basically refused to work in our area because, according to them, it will fail • One recommended us to use their engineer and architect to plan first and go from there. Their plan was to fill our basement with concrete. • Four suggested internal basement waterproofing. Their time estimates varied from 1 day to 1 week. • All of them refused to provide a written warranty except MMT. Mario from MMT was awesome. He spent time to explain the problems and provided us a written estimate with a solution diagram and materials to be used. MMT also provided us with a 15 year transferable warranty (it would be longer if our address isn’t in the beach area). They were on site everyday and the project was on time and on budget. They even tidied up before they go each day. They did not provide the cheapest quote nor the shortest project time but their work was solid and their solution worked! We were so glad that we hired them to do the work. I never had my crawl space this dry. It’s worth every penny. *This review is long overdue but we want to make sure that our crawl space is absolutely dry before we submit our review.

    A happy repeat customer

    We've used MMT in the past to waterproof two sides of the house and were very happy with the results. This time, since we were in the process of repaving the driveway, we used it as an opportunity to waterproof a third side. MMT found a crack in the foundation that was causing water to seep through. They patched it up and successfully waterproofed. Mario, as always, was a pleasure to deal with. Very knowledgeable and very patient in explaining the whole process. Would definitely recommend.

    Professionally done in reasonable price and timing

    MMT did an excellent waterproofing project on my house foundation from outside with highly skilled technicians on summer 2021. I had water coming from outside into basement by any heavy rain. Now no leaking at all and warrantied for long term +20 years Happy with what they did. A+++

    Basement waterproofing

    We have used Mmt (Mario) waterproofing for our two homes . Mario is a professional , he walks you through all the technicality and explains it in fine details for someone like me with zero knowledge . He is quick to identify the root cause and provides multiple options to tackle it .

    Great job with forgiven hiccups

    Got a bad foundation leak. Got a few quotes from many good companies. Mario however was exceptionally patient and seems most knowledgeable with both water management and water proofing techniques. No other companies offered us multiple options to fix what we had, and took as much time as Mario did to explain everything. His pricing is among the best for how we chose to fix, and the way their company fixed our foundation crack also seems best. After things are fixed, no issue whatsoever. Very happy. We did have hiccups with them, so for your ref, it's good to know. To us, we have forgiven them: They got very delayed coming to us on the scheduled date due to another job. By the time they came, they could only do half the job before nightfall. The rest was left for next day. Our biggest issue with them was not the delay but how poorly the site was protected in between work. We had little kids and pets in the house, and if I didn't phone to talk to them to find out what happened (as I didn't even know they came, and just assume we had to reschedule), we could have little people or pets fallen into the pit. Mario readily acknowledged their mistake, apologized multiple times, and came bright and early the next day to finish things up. He dealt with our complaint professionally and with excellent attitude. For that, I feel they still deserved 5 stars.

    Regrading and window wells

    Mario and his team were phenomenal. They repaired 3 window wells and dug down and repaired the grading on the hottest day of the summer of 2021. After the repair, approximately 2 weeks the well shifted. Mario and his team were there the next day after my call and repaired. This company is the BEST in their field. I have recommended their number to others. Thanks again!!!!!

    Fantastic Service

    Mario and his team fixed three cracks in my foundation. They were very knowledgeable and explained the process to me before starting. Mario is very personable and professional. He came within two weeks after giving me the quote. They cleaned the area afterwards and promised they would return if any settling etc would occur. I recommended them to my brother who was also satisfied with the job done.

    Basement Waterproofing

    This review is a long time in coming, for which I apologize. I had water coming in where the tie rod holes (3) are in the basement (foundation). As well as two existing cracks on the opposing wall, which worried me. Mariuzs was great and explained the whole process, no matter how many questions I asked. I don't take anything for a given. He is very personable. The crew came in and the job was finished within the day. The one area was a difficult area to work in. They were great in moving the standup freezer and the dryer and everything was put back into place beautifully and well cleaned up. A good warranty and transferable. Very happy with the work and highly recommend.

    Foundation repair

    After one of the powerful rain storms this summer, our basement started leaking. We made a couple of calls to get quotes — the first contractor took a quick look and was out the door in 15 minutes. Then Mario came later and spent about an hour with us, assessing the potential problem and patiently answering all of the questions from a pair of anxious homeowners. We knew we had our man. While it took some time for the work to ultimately begin due to a variety of problems — scheduling, weather, manpower and red tape with the city — when Robert, Tomas and his crew got going, they worked long, difficult hours inside and outside the house, digging manually, pouring concrete, waterproofing the interior and exterior, installing a new sump,pump, etc. They were courteous, always professional, and patiently answered all of our questions. And I will add that Mario was always reachable and gave us an extremely fair price. He was always putting himself in the customer’s shoes, trying to save us money where we could and assuage our concerns. Working with MMT was by far the best experience with a contractor we have ever had. Thanks guys!

    Foundation Repair

    We had a crack in the foundation of our house that leaked whenever it rained hard so we hired MMT Waterproofing after doing several searches and reading rewiews on Homestars. We had a deck in the backyard that covered the crack which complicated the repair. Fortunately, Robert and his team was able to remove some of the deck boards without cutting them and they were able to do the repairs professionally and fairly quickly. They also replaced the boards to how it was before the repair and they did a great job of cleaning up. I’m very happy with the work and the guys were friendly and easy to talk to. When I first contacted MMT, I spoke with Mario and he explained what they were going to do and answered every question I had. He was very knowledgeable and made me feel at ease with hiring them. I would definitely recommend them for any waterproofing needs.
