We are very pleased with the work MMT Waterproofing did for us and would highly recommend them to anyone looking to fix a wet/damp basement. When Mario initially came over to do an estimate, he explained all of our options and went through the whole process, step-by-step. We felt like we made an educated, confident decision with this project. Once the work started, Robert and his team of workers were very courteous and were super efficient...we couldn't believe the things they were capable of doing and how quickly they managed to complete everything! Robert and Mario communicated during the whole process, making sure all work got completed as outlined in the contract and discussed if any issues came up. At the end, Mario came to inspect all of the work and assured us that if anything comes up to let them know. We had to empty a clogged rain barrel that was full right by the house (this wall had a lot of problems, we always had water in the basement when it rained) because it was impossible to move...our basement was bone dry! Now we're waiting for heavy rains to hit, but we're confident our wet basement woes are gone for good! Thanks again for all of your work, MMT!

During our basement renovation, we thought it would be best to waterproof the exterior of the house to protect the work we did on the house. Calling waterproofing companies we got about 3 quotes. We felt the most comfortable with Mario. He explained the work that needed to be done and accommodated us with our short timeline. We needed the work done before we closed the walls and floors in our basement. The work was done in 2 days and we have not had a leak or anything yet. The price for the work was very reasonable. Good work by a good company. Would recommend them anytime. i was hesitant rating the company only a year after the work was done. But with the melt, everything seems fine. If this changes, my review will be updated. thanks

We purchased home in fall last year, not knowing there is a problem with foundation (even that i had had inspection done). When we started renovation of our basement , contractor that we hired found major leak in few spots. We were terrified because its our first home and not a pleasant surprise. We called few companies that we found online, our new neighbour also recommend to call Mario from MMT. From all estimates that we got MMT's was the most reasonable but also the way Mario approached us and explained everything step after step (my husband said that with that explanation he could do waterproofing himself), received written estimate with details. He pointed out exactly what costs what, on the spot. We ended up waterproofing right wall of our house with small overlaps, when most of other companies were pushing us to waterproof two walls, they insisted this needs to be done to stop water leakage but Mario said there is no need. It would be a mistake NOT to hire these guys!! They came on time, kept place clean and safe. We could not be there one day so Mario offered that he will take pictures of every step of the waterproofing process. Job was done as scheduled no extra costs at the end. Now its almost 6 months after and we are DRY! Thank you Mario and Robert ...MMT company that cares!

MMT did some exterior waterproofing work along the back foundation of our house and also installed a window well. Mario and his team were knowledgeable and the price was competitive.

Thank you MMT! Mario patiently explained all the work that would be completed to my home and wrote up a specific quote with no surprises. Another company had done the work incorrectly and left my home in a terrible condition. My life was a nightmare until Mario's team came and redid the waterproofing. Yes, my waterproofing had to be redone. MMT restored my faith in honest, kind and knowledgeable workers. Together, we were able to document the bad work that had been done and I did not experience a financial loss. HGTV should have a show called - Mario and his crew does it right!... Thank you

We had minor water issues in our basement for several years and finally this summer we decided to address the problem. MMT had been recommended to me several years ago by an acquaintance who was very happy with the work completed on his home. Mario was very patient in explaining our options for waterproofing and answered my questions when I called back with questions...I also appreciated that his written quote (provided on the spot) included a diagram of the proposed work. Another company that also provided a quote failed to include such detail which made it difficult for us to recall exactly what was agreed to after the fact. This makes a difference because the cost of waterproofing is based on perimeter. In the end we choose an internal solution as we live in a row house with a back addition making it difficult to do external waterproofing. Overall we are happy with the work and the basement has been dry even with all the rain we have had between late July (when the job was completed) and now. When dealing with trades, it is often difficult to find honest, reliable, responsive individuals and so we were really glad to work with Mario/Robert's team. For example, during the job, our laundry sink was damaged and Robert came back to replace it as he said he would. I have and will continue to recommend MMT to friends and family.

I highly recommend MMT Waterproofing. My home was waterproofed from the outside at a very fair price. The job was started on time and my yard was left very neat and clean when finished. Workmanship was excellent. There was one minor issue that when brought to Mario's attention was redone to my complete satisfaction. It was a pleasure doing business with MMT because they are honest and very reliable.

We had water leaking into our newly renovated basement. Mario came on time and waterproofed the house on time and on budget. They were considerate about keeping our laneway clean and clear so that our neighbour's tenant could enter his basement apartment. They were also willing to dig/work under our deck so that we didn't need to detach it from our house. After installation, we still had water coming in. Mario came back, did more testing, and determined that we also needed a sump pump. His guys came right away to put that in, and since there have been no flooding at all, even after very heavy rain (Mario also came back to do more testing just to make sure). I am very happy with the service provided.

Mario and Robert and their team do terrific work, all the way from the diagnosis to the clean up. Ours turned out to be a complicated job and they did a lot of extra work; they were more than fair about cost, and totally cared about solving the problem completely. Mario was a little slow returning phone calls but once we realized they really do stand by their work we were not worried! Highly recommend.

A big thank you to Mario, Robert and the MMT crew who did exterior foundation wall waterproofing on our home in July 2013! I waited a year to write this review to make sure the waterproofing worked. After the big May storm flooded our basement, we interviewed 7 contractors and Mario stood out from all the others with his knowledge, clear explanations and the choices we had regarding how the work was to be done. He answered our numerous questions and was very patient and respectful when responding to our many concerns, including our budget. Most importantly he addressed our drainage worries by the basement walkout which none of the other contractors wanted to do because of the large amount of labor required. The MMT team always showed up on time and worked diligently to complete the job and when unexpected issues arose around the walkout area Mario showed us the problem and provided us with a clear detailed explanation of what caused this and how it could be fixed. These issues extended the time frame for the job but the MMT team worked long hours and a holiday weekend to complete the job. We HIGHLY RECOMMEND Mario and MMT Waterproofing to anyone needing waterproofing. Thank you again, Mario, for all the things we learned from you to keep our home dry and your excellent work ethics!!
