We would highly recommend the Floormen (Paul and Harold) for any flooring needs. We recently moved into a house that had tile floors as well as original hardwood. The house looked outdated and needed a pick me up, and therefore our home was a project in the works. We consulted with Paul on numerous occassions, and having worked with previous contractors of various sorts, we were pleasantly surprised by his responsiveness, kind nature, patience and dedication to making our house a home. Paul and Harold were able to transform our house on time and on budget. A truly wonderful job!! The team was professional, personable, tidy and pleasant. They really went above and beyond their role. Thank you again.

I have contacts with many contractors since I am a Realtor and deal with many different types of property. I had decided to check out Homestars. It has been my good fortune to have found The Floormen. Paul Vyger, the owner, is dedicated to his trade and his work reflects this in every way. He and his partner Harold had to remove all the old hardwood, carpet and even Limestone in my son's condominium. It was indeed a challenging job- especially the removal of the tiling in the kitchen and the hall.They were fastidiously clean in leaving the suite after the installation of new hardwood throughout and had left a floor that anyone would be proud to show. I would recommend this company without hesitation.They are THE BEST!!

Harold did a fabulous job refinishing our hardwood floors that were in very bad shape. When he was finished he had far exceeded our expectation.s He was very professional and the job was completed on time and for a fair price. We highly recommend this company.

Paul and Harold did a fantastic job for me - and I've already recommended them to friends. I found The Floormen on Homestars, read the reviews, and then called Paul. I called a few other companies too, and one of them told me that my old oak floors could not be refinished because of water and pet damage. But when Paul took a look at the floors and the damage he said that he and Harold could sand and refinish and make it look beautiful again! And it was true - the floors look amazing. Thank you so much, I'm so glad I refinished and I'm thrilled with the results.

I was looking for what I thought would be impossible. I have these old maple floors in my home that were in really rough shape. There had to be several repairs done along with Sanding and Coating the floor. I found Paul and Harold on Homestars and I was thrilled with the results. When I came home on the last day of their work, I was so glad that I went ahead with this project. They made the floor beautiful again. Paul and Harold are true pros!! Thanks very much.

We had no idea what beauty was hidden in our floors until Paul & Harold came to work on them. I had thought they were beyond repair, but the two of them advised "wait & see." Even where they had to pull up some of the old damaged flooring, they skillfully turned it into a work of art. I appreciated their enthusiasm for their work and their friendliness. They made no effusive promises but delivered a quality job in a timely way.

We bought a older home with wall to wall carpet. We removed the carpet and found the original hardwood floor to be waterstained under the windows. We were unsure if the stains could be removed. Called Paul for a quote and the next day Harold showed up to have a look. He assured me the waterstains could be removed. The first day they showed up and sanded the floors and left Stain samples for us to choose from. We picked our Stain and 3 days later the floors were done. We could not have been happier with the results. The waterstains were gone and the floors looked beautiful. I would highly recomend these 2 fine guys to anyone wanting their floors redone. Thanks to Paul and Harold for a fabulous floor refinishing job. They arrived right on time, were professional throughout the whole job and our floors look absolutely beautiful. When our old floors had to be replaced, we arranged with The Floormen to do it while we were out of town. Even though we were travelling in Africa, Paul assured us that he would take care of everything, and he certainly did, even dealing with a pesky alarm system. Our new floors are gorgeous, and great care was taken that the rest of the house was not disturbed. We knew there would be dust, and there was, but we were surprised and pleased by how little there actually was. The stairs turned out to be tricky, but Paul and Harold figured out a solution and got the veneer on the risers to look just right. It's hard to remember what the old floors looked like - the new ones are so beautiful. The Floormen really know their stuff, and they really care about quality and making their customers happy. We've done high level renovations to our home, and the Floormen have more than met the standard. We have no hesitation in recommending them for any flooring job - you will be more that satisfied with their work.

Several contractors had told me that my 70 year old hardwood floors could not take another sanding. I'm glad I got a second opinion from Paul, and decided to follow it. He insepcted the floors and said, yep, he could sand and stain them, and they would look beautiful, "like new." I was skeptical, but decided to let him try, based on the good reviews he had received on Homestars. The job took a week, but from day one, I could see that Paul and his associate took great pride in their work. Both were hard working, skilled, knowlegable, and a pleasure to deal with. In the end, they more then exceeded my expectations. They eliminated stains, damage and mismatched wood that I thought were going to be permanent. They seemlessly patched up a section of bare floor where we had removed an old fireplace. In the end, they transformed my old home, restoring an important part of it to its originally beauty - just as Paul had promised. The "Floormen" are the real deal.
