    Re-shingling of roof

    Robert and his crew did my roof in the spring of this year. They were very professional, completed the job on-time and did a great clean up. The work was fantastic and my roof looks amazing. Robert took the time to inspect the roof by climbing up onto the roof and gave us a very reasonable and accurate quote of the work; none of the other companies we called for quotes did that. A few months later, we had some leakage and called Robert; he determined the leak came from faulty installation of one of windows (which is not surprising because our builder did some shoddy work) and Robert not only fixed the problem, he did it at no cost to me. I highly recommend Robert and his crew because they do great work at a reasonable price within a very decent time frame.

    Replaced old roof with new one

    Excellent quality work. Came on time, cleaned up perfectly, professional all the way. We are part of a side-by-side. Neighbor went with cheaper company that used immigrant workers but the same shingles. Her side has many, many exposed nails and is missing things like the frost barrier. We are happy we went with a Canadian team who is above board and stands by their work. Peace of mind and safety of their crew is worth the few extra bucks.

    New Roof

    I would not hesitate recommending Robert and his crew. After researching roofers including those on Homestars we obtained 3 quotes and Robert was the only one who went up on the roof and took pictures. He met with us and went over what would be done and explained the various choices in material. The day of the job the crew arrived shortly after 8 a.m. and got right to work. Robert came by later and went up and assisted himself with roofing. He is not just a salesman, your know you are dealing with an actual roofer who knows all aspects of the work. We were pleased with the work and they were cleaned up and finished for the day before 5 p.m. On the 3 quotes Robert was only $50 more but his personal service and time spent one evening made the choice very easy to go with the higher bid. I would not hesitate recommending this company. Thanks Robert and to your crew for a job well done. Wenda and Richard

    Roofing

    Very good job and service. Thank you Robert your hard and professional work will pay you back. I wait a year to give this review because I want to make sure my review must be a helpful for other people .at the same time I have to say thanks for the home star because I use your site to find a right people for mu home renovation .

    I agree with all the fabulous reviews about this company about Robert going up on the roof sending pictures, offering to take pictures as work was being done, giving lots of time choosing a shingle colour, company having integrity and Tracie warning about getting a roof done in the winter or spring etc. I really was impressed after reading about reading previous stellar clean-up job the afterwards; was a little disappointed that I didn't experience that, though the debris left to pick up was minor and don't think that Robert knew about. One of my mature shrubs was damaged, and the crew felt like they rushed off to avoid doing a thorough clean-up. I went by these fabulous reviews, and the conversations with Tracie and Robert. In the end, the important thing is that I am satisfied with the new shingled roof looks great. Would definitely go again, but just make sure I get the great clean-up service that everyone else raves about. Update: Last year, summer or fall of 2021 I called regarding some concerns to see if I had any loose tiles after a spring of high winds . As service was under warranty, they sent someone promptly to come check (on a Saturday morning too = hardworking) and did a minor glue/patch to secure a potentially loose tile, NO COST - basically they make good on their roofing/labour warranty :)

    1781 Woodgate Trail, Oshawa, ON L1G 8B3

    I have a small townhouse with a steep pitch to my roof, so it was beyond my ability to do it myself. I had several quotes for the job, with a large range of prices. Rob's quote was not only thorough and detailed, but surprisingly the lowest quote I received. The Cutting Edge Crew showed up and were in and out in a day. They worked quickly, neatly and were polite and respectful with me when I came home to find them at the tail end of the job. The next day, Rob came by himself to inspect his crew's work and install some extra downspouts for me to help keep my new roof from potential erosion damage. I would recommend The Cutting Edge Roofing to anyone who is looking for good quality work at a reasonable price.

    Roof

    When looking for a company to replace my roof shingles, I got a large number of quotes from varies companies listed here on Home Stars. Rob, owner of Cutting Edge Roofing was the only company that came out and fully explained the whole process and what his company would do. He even went up on my roof and took pictures of my roof to explain what the current condition of it was and what would need to be changed. Deciding to choose Rob and his company was the wise choice. His crew is professional and courteous. They completed the job in a single day and did everything as outlined in the estimate. Clean up at the end was quick and thorough. I'd recommend Rob and his company to anyone without any hesitation.

    Reshingling of Roof

    We were very pleased with the work Robert and his team at the Cutting Edge Roofing did reshingling our roof. All the guys were pleasant and professional. Robert took the time to explain what he was doing and how he was going to do it. We would highly recommend using Robert and the team at the Cutting Edge Roofing for any of your roofing needs.

    Reshingle Roof

    Robert at The Cutting Edge Roofing came highly recommended from 2 of my coworkers. He was the only one who went up on our roof, took multiple pictures, explained all of the issues he found. His crew arrived on time, setup tarps around the perimeter of our home and cleaned up all debris once the work was completed. I will not hesitate to recommend Robert and his team to our family and friends!

    Reshingle Roof

    I would highly recommend Robert and his crew at "The Cutting Edge Roofing". I had at least 7 different companies provide a quote to reshingle my roof and Robert was the only person to actually go up on my roof before providing his estimate. He even sent me pictures of the roof and explained what was wrong. When I finally booked his service, he came back out to do a double check of the roof to make sure he had everything detailed accurately and added a small patch to help me get by until his team could get to my project. His estimate was fair and very detailed and required no committment other than a handshake. He told me that if I find someone else, not to worry, just call him and let him know. The quote was not the lowest I received, but it definitely not the most expensive either. The crew arrived on the scheduled day and got right to work. They covered up the gardens, deck, driveway and even took extra care in covering my neighbours cars to avoid them from getting any debris on them. My property was clean, if not cleaner, after they left and the only way you would know they were here was if you saw them on the roof or noticed the new roof. Great job and I would higly recommend Robert and his team at The Cutting Edge Roofing.
