Having recently moved into an older home we knew we were in for some surprises. The reno of the basement bathroom needed more than we expected so when it came time to install the new shower stall base we contacted A Mckenna to give us some advice on moving the drain. Mark answered our initial phone call personally and was willing to come see us whenever was convenient for us. He showed up the next evening and gave us various options. He wasn't discouraged when we decided only to get him to do a portion of the job as we felt we could handle the rest. Mark showed up himself on the Saturday morning to do the job as the plumber he'd scheduled wasn't able to work at the last minute. He got to work immediately and had the job done in less than 2 hours. Everything went so smoothly, he charged us less than the estimate. Now that is honesty! It is nice to meet someone who runs his business ethically and with pride.

I had contacted A. McKenna Plumbing from their internet ad with regard to the installation of a whole home water filter and softener I had purchased. I was concerned with this installation because it needed to tap into the initial water source in the house, and with all the pieces and limited space there was to work, I needed to hire a reputable plumber. After calling, Mark had assured that he could install it without any issues. The whole job took a couple of hours as there was a lot of work to be done. Time was not wasted and Mark was truly an experienced professional. He took the time to explain what he needed to do, and was very personable and courteous throughout the installation. Definitely a reliable tradesman! I will call him again once I look to renovate my house! As a new resident of Oakville looking for a plumber, I was lucky to have called A McKenna plumbing. Mark (the owner), came to install our new sink and tap (blanco products) for our kitchen reno. He was excellent, he clearly knew the products and his workmanship was excellent. He installed the products so quickly and with precision and he was very professional and insisted on cleaning up around the work area. Excellent quality of work.

High End shower system install by well known Plumbing company that claims they understand High End. Not able to use my shower for months, finaly was told about Mark Mckenna within 10 mins he was well on his way to fixing my shower system. Not only did A Mckenna Plumbing fix my issue, Mark was a very plesent young man.
