    Exceeded all high expectations

    Istvan was a pleasure to work with from beginning to end. He was making cabinet doors for existing cabinets, and was able to work wonders to make the doors fit. He communicated with us at every step of the way, and delivered the product within the timeframe provided. He is friendly, has great attention to details and beautiful craftsmanship. Highly recommend!

    Living room built in unit

    We had the pleasure of working with Istavan to create a living room unit, and it was an exceptional experience. Istavan brought our vision to life with his outstanding suggestions and craftsmanship. We couldn't be happier with the final product. His attention to detail and willingness to share his creative input truly reflected his passion for his work. Istavan treated our home and project as if they were his own, and he completed everything on time. When the project was finished, he left our space in pristine condition, as if he had never been there. Overall, we are extremely satisfied with Istavan's work and still find ourselves amazed by the results. We're looking forward to the opportunity to collaborate with him again on future projects.

    Custom cabinets + floating shelves

    Working with Istvan was such a treat and we would highly recommend him and his company for any custom cabinetry and shelving projects. We were so happy with the transformation he did to our fireplace area and have been getting compliments on it from guests that have come over. Istvan is very polite, trustworthy and pays attention to detail. This job was done in one day and the area was left very clean upon completion. Highly recommend!

    Custom Cabinetry for Closet

    Istvan listened to our ideas and was able to turn a small space into a functional closet. He built a large cabinet that included shelving, closet for hanging clothes, and drawers to replace a dresser. It looks beautiful and is way more functional than what we had before!

    Fireplace Mantle

    So pleased with the overall experience with Black Forest Woodworking. We had a new mantel and marble installed by Istvan - and he was amazing from start to finish. He was super communicative and professional and even gave me some tips on how to clean my fireplace so it could look brand new again. The mantle is AMAZING - the detail and modern look really elevate the look and exceeds my expectations. I will be using them again in the future for custom shelving. Thank you so much Istvan!!

    Built-Ins Added to Living Room

    We were looking to have built-ins and an electric fireplace added to the living room. Istvan was very personable and his passion for woodworking was very clear. He had great suggestions for the design and style. His work was fantastic, completely changing and improving the look of our living room. We strongly recommend Black Forest Woodworking!

    New Mantle

    I had contacted a few contractors and I found Istvan the best to work with. He was very personable, trusting, reliable, with affordable pricing, and his suggestions greatly enhanced my initial design. The final product was classy, timeless, and beautifully finished. I strongly recommend Black Forest Woodworking!

    Bathroom vanity and pantry

    I was looking for someone to redo cabinets in my master ensute and this is how I found this company. Istvan did excellent work from start to finish. He created very clear drawings , suggested on design and delivered superb product and service. I will definitely reach out to him again for future projects

    Living Room Built-ins

    We have recently moved to the Toronto area. We were looking to have built-ins in the living room, beside the fireplace. Istvan had great suggestions for the style of the built-ins (cabinet and drawers) and redoing the fireplace to match. He recommended lighting for the shelves and I glad that I listened because it looks fantastic. The project was completed within the timelines that were communicated. Overall, it was a great experience and I have no reservations to recommend Black Forest Woodworking for a project.
