Michelle, very happy Five Star customer from Mississauga, We would like to take this opportunity to thank Bob and his amazingly professional staff for nicely taking care of our flood in basement. From last weekend's thunder storms, we got flood in our basement due to malfunction of our Sub pump. We tried to dry it ourselves. We couldn't dry it totally, after few days, the smell from basement's carpets were so strong and awful which I could not stand. It was late night, I got Five Star Carpet Cleaning in Home stars and e-mail them to do the carpet cleaning and odor removal. They responded quickly and made an appt. for next day. Next day, they came in and explained that the smell is due to wet under path and need to be changes, They checked for moisture behind baseboards and wall , they were all wet. In order to prevent mold collections we decided to manage the flood first then clean the carpets. Bob patiently went over our different options and the procedure involved both in short term and long term. We decided to get rid of moisture and prevent mold formation by doing the job right. They quickly started the job and took control over the situation. They changed the under paths, dried the area, took baseboards out and disinfect and set up the equipment for 3 days. Then everything was dry and they fixed the baseboards and install brand new under path and clean and disinfect the carpets again. The smell is gone, the basement looks great better than before flood. They also tried to accommodate us within our budget but do a great through job. We really appreciate their great services. We strongly recommend them to others. Honestly, they were very nice and respectful crews to us and our belongings in basement in preventing any further damage to work with for few days.
