    dishwasher repair

This company has terrible customer service and technicians. They are unreliable and dishonest. Their prices are unreasonably expensive and they don't provide any explanation - it's a big rip off! Stay away from them.

    Oven repair

STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. THEY ARE RACKETEERS AND THEY ARE TOTALLY NON RESPONSIVE TO COMPLAINTS. I called for their quote on my oven that wasn't working. I essentially threw $80 away on this as they gave a random flat rate quote for labour of $280 but had no idea how much parts would be. They didn't have to show up and charge me $80 to do that. They could have told me that over the phone. What good is a quote without any idea how much the parts will be?. To my mind, that's what a quote is for. If I have a 10 year old stove I want to know exactly how much it's going to cost to fix it without spending a cent more to know whether to go ahead or get a new one.

    Whirlpool Washer Repair

Most dishonest company I have ever dealt with. They came to look at my broken Whirlpool washing machine. The technician said that parts would be needed and that he would charge a flat $316 for labour. Parts would be extra. I was able to obtain parts from Whirlpool and called Service4Appliances to come and complete the repair. Their receptionist kept on giving me stories but the technician never came. In the end Whirlpool Canada exchanged it for $150. Do not use Service4Appliances as they are dishonest and abusive of naive appliance owners.

horrible dishonest company. i told them my bosch dishwasher was leaking and I thought it needed a new seal. they charged me $316-00 to come out and look at it and tell me I needed a new seal and then wanted to charge me $200 to come replace the seal that I called Bosch and they told me was $26-00 and they told me they dont charge to come out the second time only for parts. so it the part was $26-00 why the $200 charge the second time.. they argued and were rude and they are very dishonest. stay away from them at all costs

    washing machine

I wish I read these reviews before employing the services of this company! They charged us $450 for labour and a part. We were dissatisfied with the work as i found loose metal pieces in the bottom of the machine after the first load and what looks to be scraped plastic from the rim at the bottom of the machine. We called the company to ask them to come back to look at the machine and they refused even though they gave us a 30 day warranty. Their explanation was that the issue was a different one than the issue they first came out for (eventhough my husband pointed out the problem when the repair person was here). Now the washing machine is broken and not working at all - the balance is completely out and we are out $450. We could have put the money toward a new machine. Service4Appliances, you really suck. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

    service4applicances

my water supply on my fridge quit working - technician took a look and said I needed a new water nozzle - $320.00. New nozzle didn't work. Technician then said I needed a new "mother board" - $375.00. I didn't bite that time. Different company's technician took the door apart and found ice in the line - fixed it with hot water - needless to say I'm not happy!!! The first technician may have been right, but he never checked the availability of water to the door before he recommended a very expensive part - the ice could very well have been the problem all along - and I certainly didn't need a new mother board!!

    Ice Maker

I kicked myself for not checking reviews, I was taken for a good ride, Tech. said he could fix the problem on the ice maker but it did not work. I hope CBC Market Place does a story on them to prevent this happening to other people.

    Oven

They charged 200 dollars for less then an hour of service with no service warranty. They charged an additional 300 dollars for a replaceable part. They have a F rating with over 100 complaints on the BBB rating system. They are crooks, find someone else.

    Dishwasher Repair

I called the company to repair the latch on my dishwasher door which would not stay closed when running. The company charged $590 for one part and labour to complete the repair which did not work. When I called them within their 30-day warranty, they advised it would be another $400 in parts and labour. Rather than spend $1,000 in repairs with no guarantee that it would run properly, I bought a new dishwasher.

    refrigerator

My fridge stopped working and I found service 4 appliances on Google. They sent a technician the day after. He charged me $410 and the fridge is not working again. They have given me another appointment for two days after the first service. They charge too much the technicians are not reliable and overall I had a very bad experience. I don't recommend them at all!
