    Air quality test

    Ross was helpful, friendly, quick, and honest. We got the results back in 2 business days. They met and surpassed expectations! I had read the reviews here on homestars and was not disappointed.

    Attic Mold

     During a home inspection he found mold inside the attic that had to be cleaned before the sale of our house could be finalized. I called the mold guy and they gave me a price over the phone. We were able to book for the next day and had all the paperwork and pictures we needed for the buyer to move forward. I really appreciate how efficient and responsive they are. Everything went smooth and the service was as described. I recommend calling them first!

    Mold Behind Tiles in Apartment Bathroom

    I've been very sick for the last few years since moving here and my doctors can't figure out why. When I saw a black looking mold behind the tile in the bathroom, that scared me. I called the Mold Guy on Sunday and Kay returned my call 9:00 am the next morning. Impressed! Ross came and took air and surface samples. He was friendly and professional, even my cats liked him. I received the results very quickly which helped me convince my landlord to take action. I feel safe in my home again.

    Relieved after meeting The Mold Guy!

    We suspected that mold was growing in the basement and was eager to get someone reliable to give us some advice. When I first looked on Google, there were some negative reviews about The Mold Guy about rude staff - but let me assure you ALL the staff I dealt with at The Mold Guy were all very very polite. I called at 8:30am on Wednesday - The lady who answered the phone was super polite. I thought, "What are those reviews talking about?!" I asked the lady to check if someone would be in our area that day, and she quickly scheduled me for a 11:30am appointment. If you have mold at home, you would know how relieved I felt to have someone who can come ASAP. Ross showed up on time and answered every single question we had. He was in no rush to leave and did a very thorough check in the house including collecting samples for lab test. He knew his stuff and was very honest - didn't try to use scare tactics. He educated us about what we needed to know. By today (Thursday afternoon), we received our report with a PASS! Thank you to Ross and your team! Highly recommend to anyone who needs someone honest and knows what they are doing.

    Attic Mold Remediation

    Last year, when we purchased our home, we knew that we'd need to have mold remediation done in the attic due to poor ventilation. Spring/Summer 2016 we called The Mold Guy and were met with amazing customer service and support along each and every step. They not only worked around our schedule, but also used text and email as the primary method of communication on our request due to our work schedules. They were on time, very communicative, and provided us with detailed written quotes and a certificate of the work done on completion. They were also able to recommend and introduce us to contractors to install proper sofits. This was the first 'real home ownership' task that we encountered and they made it so so easy for us.

    Possible mold in basement

    I had a very musty smell in the basement and thought I had a mold problem so I called The Mold Guy. Ross came and did a full inspection of the basement. He advised me what the main problem was and how to fix it. I was very pleased with him and the solutions he provided. A very good company to deal with...worth every penny.

    Mould removed

    Our inspection showed some mould and The Mould Guy was there at 6:30 in the morning and resolved the problem. The were pleasant and efficient. Moreover they were really nice. I would not hesitate to refer them without hesitation.

    Bathroom mold

    I'm so glad I called The Mold Guy! Ross came by and had a look at my bathroom which had visible mold on the ceiling. He offered tips on how to remove it myself (this was possible because it was a small area) and he told me how to clean and seal my grout to prevent mold build up on my shower tiles. Ross was so helpful and knowledgeable. The mold has been removed and has not made a reappearance! Thank you Mold Guy!

    Mold inspection

    Mr. Ross was great. While the samples were collecting, he walked through our home and looked top to bottom to try and locate where mold may be hiding or start to collect. As we're new home owners, he also had lots of advice how to avoid problems in the future, both indoor and outdoors. The tips were much appreciated!

    Good work, good price, expert knowledge.

    Had a bit of Mold growth so called in the Mold guy. Responded fast, showed up on time, walked me through the problem areas and told me exactly how to solve them myselff and when that was not possible (attic insulation) he was able to connect me to someone solid that could help. Nice to deal with professionals that shopw up with the right tools (thermal cameras!) and do a proper job. Highly recommended.
