Very professional and did a fantastic job. Pulled several dead Ash trees down for me and you wouldn't even know they were there. Everything was cleaned up and taken away. Also pruned a large Maple that looks great now. Thanks again

We have a massive oak tree in the front yard that needed some clean up, and trimming of a lot of dead branches, as well as having one of the large branches that overhangs the roof cabled. The guys were there on time and did a great job. They really know their stuff, navigating some very large branches down to the ground avoiding wires with ropes and using some nimble work to do it. Clean up was great.

The crew did an excellent job. They were on time, they worked efficiently. They did good clean-up. They were also very friendly and informative. The person working the phone and the the appraiser were also very good. Also the price was very reasonable for the work. They even did a little extra for the same price. It was a pleasure working with every one of them and I would not hesitate to use this company again for any future tree work. I would also recommend them to my friends. Thanks for a great job guys.

Dear Tree Doctors CEO, I recently retained the services of your company to remove a stem from a large spruce tree in my rear yard. I am writing to inform you of my complete satisfaction with the work performed on this job. Dave Gilbert was the estimator, foreman and climber and is very knowledgeable about his work. He makes the client feel comfortable both before and during the job. He was assisted by Adam, who provided ground level expertise. Matt was the third member of the crew who helped things go perfectly smoothly. And the receptionist in the office, Erin, was cordial, pleasant and efficient in arranging the on-site estimate and subsequent paperwork. The scheduling department was proficient in setting up a date for the job. The crew arrived within the time specified, the removal work was done safely and respectful of the surroundings, and the site was left in a clean condition. The invoicing department was very prompt in sending me the final copy of the receipt. In summary, I can comfortably and highly recommend the services of Tree Doctors. Thank you Dave. A large Manitoba Maple in our front yard had split and become a hazard. I contacted several removal services and Tree Doctors was the most prompt and professional. They did the job well and left everything clean. I would recommend them highly.

From the response to my request for an estimate on line, through the estimate and a repeat visit to discuss the work, and the actual work, the service was excellent. Three apple trees - a large one, a much smaller one and an apple tree trained on a trellis look very good after their trim. The backyard was left cleared of all debris.

I manage a large commercial property and required a number of trees to be either cut down or pruned back. I found Tree Doctors after checking with some of my business contacts. Communication was quick, service was prompt, staff was pleasant to deal with and professional. They did what they said they were going to do, showed up on time and cleaned up after. I would recommend them to anyone who asks.

Using Tree Doctors was a very positive experience. All my phone calls and emails were answered in a timely manner. The arborist guided me through the tree removal process required by the City of Toronto and took the time to answer my many questions. The people who cut the trees were very friendly and professional and they left the property spotless. I would recommend Tree Doctors without hesitation.

Tree Doctors was great about coming out almost immediately to provide a quote; however they misdiagnosed the problem with my tree, quoting a trim of the canopy and a minor girdled root on one side of the tree. Multiple calls and emails to them were left ignored. When they eventually came out to do the work, they did basically nothing, as witnessed by my many neighbours. When the tree continued to decline, I reached out to them again to follow up. Still no communication from them via phone or email. I was hoping for a conversation about next steps, but that never happened. Ever. In the end, I had a different, and clearly more reputable company come out, to tell me the tree was a lost cause and I was essentially duped by Tree Doctors. They told me there was no hope for the maple tree and that the original recommendation should have been to remove it. Instead, Tree Doctors saw an opportunity to take advantage of a person who was hoping to save her tree. Now, I'm dealing with them reinventing "facts" about the original quote, which are patently untrue. My best advice is to STEER CLEAR of Tree Doctors and spend your hard-earned money elsewhere. These people are unethical and dishonest. UPDATE: After informing Tree Doctors of the negative review I posted here on HomeStars, I received an email and phone message of apology from them, including an offer of a full refund of my $500 ... BUT ONLY if I removed my negative review of them from HomeStars, and any other review site. Yet another reason to steer clear of this company and their disingenuous ways!
