First time home buyers here and we don't know much about houses! Geoff was extremely thorough, he literally looked at everything, tried every appliance to see if it worked properly, ran every faucet to check for leaks, checked all wall plugs, checked the attic space for insulation and roof nails, checked the electrical installation, furnace, etc, etc. Every time he found something wrong, he would show us, and explain what needed to be done, and even give an idea about cost to fix it! But he went even beyond and spend a lot of time giving advice ! We never lived in a house, so he advised us to lift the downspouts in the winter, showed us how to check the furnace filter and even what type to buy, showed how to adjust the door lock plates to prevent draft. He even lifted out a window to show how to clean the sliding gutter drain! The day after we received the 75-page report with photos of all the problem areas (luckily most were minor and easy fixes). I also called Geoff the day after because I came up with a question about a potential sewer issue, and he took 30 minutes on the phone to explain how things work and again advised what to do to give me peace of mind!

Geoff was a wonderful and personable inspector. He is incredibly thorough and obviously knows his trade really well. His report was delivered in an incredibly timely manner, and he really goes above and beyond for his clients. All of my questions and observations were considered and answered, and as a first time home owner, I felt really supported when Geoff took time to explain many things in great detail. I feel so lucky to have found such a professional and kind service!

Geoff inspected our family acreage, which will be put on the market soon. He was very knowledgeable, even about the items you tend to only find on acreages. He was also very friendly and described his comprehensive findings in an easy to understand manner. Recommended!

Geoff inspected the home meticulously with transparency of what was being assessed. A home inspection can be intimidating to those unfamiliar with the process; Geoffs expertise, credentials and years of experience, allowed him to give us the knowledge we needed to walk away from the inspection with clarity and comfortability in the decisions we needed to make afterward. On top of that, we received a 100 page inspection report the following morning with pictures, detailed descriptions and applicable recommendations. Geoff was on site for six hours and did an extensive inspection of all aspects of the home. From the heating system to door latches- he left no stone unturned. A 92 fully detailed report followed the next day. This inspection allowed us to see things from a buyers perspective and gave us time to address details that we had overlooked but have now corrected so that when the property gets listed; it checks the buyers boxes and adds comfort in knowing they can make a decision without them having to spend their own money if they wish. Being a Bauemlar approved supplier was the deciding factor of who to choose to perform this service. Thank you!

Very thorough home inspection. Geoff took the time to look over everything and to explain what he was looking at and what his recommendations were!

I had a house inspection done of a condo which I purchased. When I arrived at the inspection, Geoff was early and waiting for me . He explained to me his process and then proceeded to do a thorough inspection of the condo. After he was done, he showed me a couple of areas that needed attention. He also provided me with a thorough report pointing out areas that I will look at, as well as a photo of these areas. He also provided a list with recommendations for people that he has had experience with for different jobs that may be used in the upkeep of my new purchased home. It was a pleasure dealing with Geoff, a man with lots of personality and knowledge. Thank You!
